Arnav spent the rest of the evening wondering who the guy was. "Should I ask Khushi about him or not " he said aloud
"Ask Khushi what?" asked Akash startling Arnav. Arnav didn't even notice him come in the room
"Nothing, You look excited" said Arnav quickly changing the topic.
"I am normal" said Akash trying to hide the smile on his face. The smile was not missed by Arnav.
"Of course you are" said Arnav laughing.

Khushi was working on her assignment for class a news review that she had to summarize when Payal came to the door
"Khushi, What are you doing?"
"News Review Jiji "
"When is it due"
"Next week, but I wanted to finish it early"
"Gosh Pancake , we need to choose an outfit for tomorrow"
"Jiji" whined Khushi.
"No whining, we are going to do it right now"
"Fine" Khushi grumbled.
After a half hour there was still no agreement on what Khushi should wear.
"How about dress pants and a blouse?" asked Khushi
"No, you are not going for a business meeting, I want you to wear a dress" said Payal
Before Khushi could say anything Payal pulled out a short red dress
"Wah, mast lagogi iss mein" concluded Payal
"Jiji, it's too fancy, zyaada hai" argued Khushi
"It's hot and happening wear it pleaseee" said Payal
Khushi couldn't say no after seeing Payal's face.
"Fine Jiji, but I will need your red shrug for it" said Khushi
"Done" said Payal beaming
"Now that we have your outfit ready we need to choose accessories and shoes"
"Jiji seriously"
"Yes seriously, its important that you wear the right accessories "
Khushi rolled her eyes
"I saw that and as punishment you have to help me choose my outfit too"
Khushi knew that there was no point of arguing so she nodded her head.
After another half an hour of deliberation Khushi decided to wear a pair of silver heels and a silver necklace and earrings.
After her outfit and accessories were finalized she followed Payal to her room.
"What to wear, what to wear" said Payal as she started pulling out dresses from her closet
"Jiji wear this" said Khushi picking up a long purple dress
"Wah, good choice, I like it, now accessories" said Payal
After another half hour the decision of accessories was made also. A purple necklace and earring set.
After all this Khushi went back to her room to work on her news review until it was time for dinner
"Girls we want to meet the boys that you are going out with tomorrow, invite them in tomorrow before you leave" said Garima
"Okay Mom" said Payal. Call Arnav and I will call Akash and let them know said Payal to Khushi.
"Okay Jiji" said Khushi
After dinner Khushi found Arnav's number and gave him a call

Arnav was just finishing up dinner when his phone rang He looked at his phone and saw Khushi's name.
"I have a phone call, I will be right back"
"Aise konsa zaroori call hai ke tum dinner table se uth ke ja rahe ho Arnav?" asked Sameer
"Woh Dad..."
"Dad, let him go, its fine" said Anjali
"Lekin Anjali.."
"Dad aap bhi na, ek phone call hi hai, let him take the call please"
"Theek hai, Jao Arnav" said Sameer
"Jao jao no problem" said Anjali laughing
"Di" said Arnav shaking his head
After leaving the table Arnav picked up his phone
"Hey Khushi"
"Hey, how are you?"
"Good"
"Sorry for calling so late" apologized Khushi
"No, its fine, tell me"
"it's just that my parents want to meet you before we go out tomorrow. So please could you come a little earlier to meet them"
"Sure, sounds good"
"okay great, then see you tomorrow"
"See you"
After getting off the phone Arnav went to his room. A few minutes later there was a knock on his door.
"Ya, come in"
"Arnav, Are you busy? " asked Anjali
"No Di, come on in
"Whose call was it ?"
"Umm.. Di"
"Your face brightened when you saw the name, so I am assuming it was a girl"
Arnav couldn't lie to his Di.
"Yes Di, Her name is Khushi, She is Payal's sister. Payal and Akash are going out and Payal is not supposed to go out without Khushi. So I decided to ask Khushi if she wants to hang out with me. Her parents want to meet me and Akash tomorrow before we go out. That is why she called.
"Oh, okay, I see" said Anjali
"Do you like her Arnav?'
"She is a nice girl Di and I do like her but I want to take it slow, I want to know more about her"
"I would like to meet her too"
"Sure Di"
"Okay, I have some work to do so I will see you later Arnav"
"Okay Di"
...
"Jiji, I called Arnav, did you call Akash ?"
"Yes I did, He is okay with coming early"
"So is Arnav, everything is good to go for tomorrow"
"You look excited Pancake" said Payal

"Sure, for me" said Payal.
