Hey guys! Thank you so much for the amazing response. It totally made my day. You guys are so awesome! =)
Chapter 2
Even the most ordinary thing in the room suddenly seemed so pleasing, that she couldn't help but admire the beauty of the rose, placed at the center of the dining table.
"This place is so pretty. Thank you for bringing me here." She smiled at Armaan.
"Thank you for coming with me." He looked right into her eyes and spoke flirtatiously, that caused her uneasiness.
"Um, so how was your day?" Riddhima asked him, trying to divert the topic. But something about the look on his face told her that the topic was far from being diverted.
"The day hasn't ended yet, Riddhima." He told her softly, an answer that at first she couldn't understand.
"But I'm sure it will be amazing." He winked at her. A jolt of electricity ran down her body when their fingers touched for the first time. Quickly, Riddhima withdrew her hand , coughing out her uneasiness. Never in her life had she thought that her first date would turn out to be so awkward.
"Um, so what are your hobbies?" Riddhima decided to pick up a fresh topic again.
"Anything adventurous. Bike racing, river rafting, scuba diving, surfing, rock climbing, kayaking, base jumping, good high roller coasters, bull fight.." Lost in his land of adventure, Armaan didn't realize that his 'fun stuff' only horrified the girl near him.
"What if you're hurt? Doesn't that scare you?"
"That is the real fun, Riddhima."
"But what if some it causes any serious damage?"
"So? Who cares?" Said a very suddenly low Armaan. Armaan's mother had passed away of cancer, when he was of 9 years old. His father being a filthy rich business man, never got the time to take out for Armaan. Restrained of fatherly love, a young and lonely Armaan found pleasure in dangerous sports and turned out to be what he was today.
"I'm sure a lot people do. It is just that you don't realize it." She said, and this made Armaan look up at her in surprise. "Do you?" He asked her, his voice low but stern.
"Yes." She admitted firmly, her eyes locked to his.
"Right. I'll keep it in mind." He smiled at her innocence, something that had already touched his heart.
"So, what are your hobbies?"
"Um, lets see. Reading, writing, music, guitar, painting-" Riddhima stopped inbetween, when she saw his jaws touching the ground.
"DO YOU ACTUALLY READ BOOKS?" He asked her, amazed. She smiled.
"Uh, yes."
"Those huge, long texts of boredom? You read them?"
"Yes."
"Seriously, Riddhima? WHY?" He asked her, acting shocked and serious. She giggled.
" 'Cause I don't find them boring, Armaan."
"Oh, yes they are!" He told her, crossing his arms, a sign of surety.
"Really? And how would you know that? Have you tried reading any?"
"Uh, NO! I'm too young to die!" His books-repelling-nature made her laugh.
"Then I'm definitely making you read some books, someday!"
"Keep dreaming." He said, his attitude mocking her.
"Why don't we make a deal, then?" She said suddenly. That instantly caught his attention.
"What kind of deal?" He narrowed his eyes suspiciously. She thought for a while and then returned a bright smile.
"IF I tell you that I'll try out all the adventure sports with you someday.." He nodded quietly, as he spoke.
"do you promise to read something?"
"Will comics work?"
"WHAA-?" Riddhima giggled.
"You read comics?"
"Yes. Will they work?" Armaan pouted, melting her heart.
"Nope. They won't."
"Then no." He shook his head.
"Hey, books aren't that bad!"
"Uh, right."
"I swear."
"Right." He mocked her again.
"Why don't you try it like an adventure, then?"
"Like something to risk you life on?" He asked her, cocking his brows in uncertainty.
"Uh-huh" She took a sip from her blue lagoon and nodded.
"Um, not a bad idea."
"Do we have a deal then?" She offered him her hand. A frown furrowed her brows when she found him pondering about it.
"ARMAAN?" She asked him seriously.
"I've a condition." He stood up immediately.
"And what is that?" She asked with uncertainty.
Immediately, he offered her his hand.
"Dance with me." He looked into her eyes and spoke. Little butterflies began fluttering in her tummy, looking for a way to escape.
"Oh, no! You do not want to see me dancing." She retorted.
"Comon!" He pushed her further.
"Um.." Unsure, she slowly placed her hands on his and he pulled her to the dance floor immediately.
She tried but failed to remember, when was the last time she had so much fun. Usually, she felt awkward around the huge crowd, with so many pairs of eyes staring at her. But with him near her, she was like a carefree little bird. He made her laugh till her stomach hurt. He pulled her and twirled her around the dance floor, making her laugh like a little girl.
Music began, music changed; people came, people left, both kept dancing for a long time..until..
"Guys, guys!" The DJ stopped the music midway.
"Now its time for some slow music. So I want all the couples to be on the dance floor! And all the singles, go find yourself a dance partner! Here it goes.." The fast paced music suddenly turned slow and lights were dimmed.
Riddhima stood there awkwardly, dumbstruck, having no idea of what to do next. She grew nervous when she saw Armaan approach her.
"Hello, may I have this dance with you?" An unknown handsome face with decent attire approached her out of nowhere. She studied him for a moment and decided that he seemed decent enough.
"Sure." Smiling, she locked her hands with his as he twirled her around on the dance floor. She looked back at Armaan who gave her a 'sure, go ahead' nod. After a while, dancing with the man began to cause her uneasiness. She continued to shift herself for a while, to increase the distance in between them, but in vain.
The music changed to one of her favorite tracks, when Armaan stopped them.
"Um, can I've this dance?" She smiled, as he bowed like a gentleman. Nodding, she locked her fingers with his. He pulled her close and wrapped his hands around her waist. The proximity of distance in between them caused her breathlessness.

The most extra ordinary moment of her life ended soon, too soon for her. The track ended and things turned out to be a little awkward between the two.
"Um.." Armaan tried to find words to speak, removing his hands, thereby almost pushing her away.
"Wohoo! A big round of applause for the love birds, there. Guys, that was HOT!" The DJ announced. The sudden spotlight almost blinded Riddhima; she looked up to find a huge crowd clapping for her. She realized that she was going red around her ears.
"Dance away, people!" Loud music burst out of the silence again. Riddhima stood there for a moment, trying to control her throbbing heart.
"Wanna go out?"
"Yes."
At this, Armaan caught her hand, and pulled her out of the dance floor.
Armaan seemed a little too silent, as they walked out of the restaurant, and Riddhima couldn't figure out why.
Silently, he mounted on his bike, when she decided to break the silence.
"Armaan?"
"Hmm?" He looked up at her, lines of worry etched on his face.
"I had a great night. Thank you!" She smiled at him.
"Uh, Riddhima?"
"Yes?"
"I know its kinda late.. but.. um, there is one more place I want to show you."
"Uh."
YES,YES! Her heart screamed in happiness but her mind said the opposite.
"Sure." For once she decided to go with her heart.
And as it turns out, her heart was right. She would have missed out on a lot, if she had missed this-a star filled night sky!
"You know Armaan?" She looked at Armaan, lying near her and spoke softly.
"I had never thought that I could find such a view in a place like Mumbai."
"Yeah, I know. Its very hard to find a good star filled sky here."
"Yes, it is. So thank you!"
"YOU ARE WELCOME." He looked at her, with a genuine smile on his face.
"Being with you, here, right now.. I had never thought that it would happen. Its like a dream come true." Words escaped her heart and reached her mouth automatically.
"This night I've spend with you, I still can't believe that it is actually happening."
She spoke earnestly.
"It feels so special." She closed her eyes, focusing on the sound of the crashing of waves against the sand. Beach was something that she had loved since the very beginning. The sound of waves, it gave her a sense of peace.
She opened her eyes to find him watching her and she was rendered speechless, with those blue eyes locked to hers.
"Riddhima" He turned towards her and cupped her face, she held her breathe.
"Riddhima." He repeated, looking into her eyes and finally locked his lips with hers. It was soft and gentle. She opened her eyes to find him watching her.
"You're special, Riddhima." He told her, and she could say that something had changed. Things were going to be the same again.
