Lolz...you will make an enemy of Maan if you would appreciate that point of his mother!😆
"You are right Sameera. She has her own brand of liveliness. Lucky would be the man she will spend her life with. Ofcourse, that is, he if can handle her madness."
My own mother is my enemy! Arghh!
"True Badi Ma," Sameera winked slyly at me, "only Veer seems to have mastered that art."
That's it! I can't take it anymore. If I hear one more mention of her my mind would explode. "Excuse me ladies," I shifted my gaze to Sameera, "and Fatso." Ha! Look at her face. Revenge is sweet!
First thins first. I love this Maan. He is different from your other Maans but is very much adorable.
While MPGD Maan is respectable and Just a Dream Maan well you-know-what-able, this Maan is adorable. Absolutely adorable. The love he has in his heart, the effort he takes to try and express, even not flinching to go out of his way.. Wait he does crib but still.. it is marvelous. But what I love the most is his one liners!
Yeah...he is a grouse! But with a heart of a gold :)
Ad not to forget his family! One more thing I love in this story is the happy family you showed.
I have lived in a HUGE joint family always...and though there maybe times you wish to keep away from them...fact remains they stand rock solid with you when required. And believe me...gatherings on occasions and functions is a laugh riot in our home!!
I absolutely loved Sameera's teasing and Man's getting back at her. BTW Why do I find Maan like you? You call me with that stupid-endearment-you-gave-to-me-which-i-hate whenever you want to irk me. Don't you?
😈😈
Ah! Now i get why he was so obsessed with Sunday! I asked you in the very first update but you being YOU didn't tell me then. Am proud of myself here. Ah Don't ask the reason. It's just like that!😆
I couldn't tell you that in the very beginning!! *rolls eyes*
One, she could say no.
Two, she could laugh at me and say no.
Three, she could hit me, laugh at me, then say no.
Four, Chotte Papa could beat me to pulp, she would laugh at me and then say no.
Five, she could yes.
I love love loved the options he gave. I don't think the fourth option would ever happen. Yash has better options like teasing Maan for the rest of his life you know..
Yeah...but then this is Maan...he has led himself to believe everything will fall around him if he even takes a step!! Lolz
Frustrated and still rankled with my mother's last comment I wished sourly that I had never promised her that I would give up drinking. I couldn't help shoot a jealous look at my father and Chotte Papa. And a part of me knew that this jealousy wasn't merely due to the fact that they were allowed to enjoy their drinks. But it was from the fact that they had the women they loved, to fuss over their drinking in their lives, forever.
The underlined line caught my attention. Again shows the person he is! No words! It's just brilliant! I love him more..
I did a right thing in listening to the song before. But surprisingly I loved the song more when i heard it with the update. Guess what even though i've the song in my mobile (after you told me about the song the first thing i did was to search in my PC and i found it) and even though i've heard it before, I could feel it this time when i heard it. Before it was just a song but after this update it's more than a simple song to me. I would forever remember this story every time I hear this song. 🤗
The door of the cab opened. An umbrella unfurled from within and it was'
I screamed "Yellow." even before Maan did!😆 You remind me of my teachers at school. They used to pause for a while to have students prompt the answers.. you know just like you😆
🤣🤣 ...I would make a very bad teacher!!
She was truly here. My senses revived as life coursed back in my veins. The numbness ceased as the hum-drum of activity boomed around me. The traffic outside the doors, shrill of the bell at reception, the coming and going of the guests, the low whispers of conversations inside, the'arghhh'it was a cacophony'a riot. I hated crowds.
I love crowds Alright I hate them too- it just depends on my mood.😆 Anyway I loved the above paragraph. Trust me I was visualizing the entire scene before me. You have a way with words and you always manage to paint a scene before my eyes Miss. Artist!
😳😳
"No! We will have to move. Walk forward from the point we are standing stagnant at."
"If I let you go you would move away beyond my reach. You may not come back to me."
"You will have to take the chance. Status quo will do none of us any good."
"Why would you come back to me? Someone who will keep you trapped like this. Someone who would not free you ever from his grasp. I am keeping you caged in my arms against your will. I am more selfish than you can ever believe."
"Nemo judex in causa sua. No one should be a judge in their own cause. Let me decide if I would want to stay here or not."
"I saw the carnations."
"Did you not see the orchids?"
"I know you value our friendship."
"Is that all you know? Is that all you could infer?"
"The flowers were not roses. The roses wouldn't have been red."
"Commercial myth. You should be wiser than that to rely on them."
"You once said yellow stands for friendship."
"I was eight then'"
"You are twenty-four now. Why is it that I still see you holding steadfast to this color?"
"Maan'"
"No listen to me first. Which symbolism have I missed? I know you so well yet it feels there is something that has escaped my notice."
"Maan'"
"No seriously! I swear by my conscience that I accepted the color as you the moment I saw you invite it in your life. But now you are shaking my definition of it."
"Maan'"
"You are shaking the foundation of the bond I believed we had. What is it about yellow that I have never known before? Why are you so obsessed with this color more than ever before?"
"Chup! Bilkul chup," she clamped her hand on my mouth. She took a deep breath as mine refused to exit from my lungs, "For years yellow ribbons were worn as a sign of hope as women waited from their men to come marching home from war. I have lived yellow for you to come back to me."
"Geet'"
I am doing this now. Now! Or it may be never.
"'be mine."
Why isn't she answering?
She should have answered back immediately.
Its three seconds already! She should have answered by now.
Most girls have an answer ready a split second after the last syllable. Well most girls generally do anticipate being proposed to Khurana.
I hate my sub-conscious.
"Priceless."
"What?"
"The look on your face."
"This is not my answer."
"You have made me wait for so long for this. For Geet to hear her name from lips of her Maan. I should sue you for it. Or maybe," she turned her full glare on me, "I will simply make you wait longer as compensation."
"Geet'"
"God, yes!"
I started underlining what I wanted to high light but by god I ended up underlining the entire conversation. Did i tell you I love when you write a conversation between the leads. Even though you say you aren't good at dialogues
