I Cannot Believe That I'm Late!!!! Arrrghhh!!

And Did I ever tell you that I was gonna post the same song a millions times and never did it...or did I? Instead I went ahead n mailed it to your fan!! Bewakoofi ki hadh!

Anyway that had got to be one of my favourite numbers.

I drink in ur updates, Jazzu they fill me up with emotion. gosh I missed you. I so truly appreciate that romantic element you put in, not to mention the surprised element Vicky got in...that was epic.

A beautiful end to a beautiful story...

This story just made me realise how important colours are in ones life and how each colour signifies different aspects of life, relationships and emotions.

Yellow is a surprisingly rare colour that people tend to choose.. and I loved the reason behind Geet's choice of this very vivid hue.

I came across these verses some time ago.. thought of sharing it here.

Colour me Yellow

Bright coloured sunflowers that dance in the sun.

"I'm here" said the primrose. "I'll not be outdone!"

The buttercup added "Now don't forget me."

"I love yellow cowslips" then buzzed the fat bee.

The brightness of sunshine – this surely must please.

Yellow ducklings, canaries, primroses, cheese.

Though yellow is linked with cowardice and fear

I will always feel happy when yellow is near.

The lovers of yellow are contented with life

And much prefer laughter to conflict and strife.

Yellow speaks of new life and of intellect too.

Well you think of what else as I wish you adieu.

Okay Chhote... where do i begin... i think i'll start with the end... 😆 😆 😆

1. A vast realm of passion lay open between

Yet to be explored, wild and uncharted

Together they floated in that idyllic space

Where innocent ignorance ceased and sensual awareness

I loved this end... for the promise it held, the promise of an entirely different angle to their relationship...

While you feel a certain sadness at most stories ending, this one stood out, full of sunshine and laughter and a tingling awareness of the things to come...! Heady stuff, that spurs the imagination rather than dampening one's spirit at it ending!

2. YELLOW... I LOVEEE THAT SONG... esp. that signature guitar piece!!...

Putting that down just gave it that touch of the urbane and just made it more relatable, this was suddenly not about Maaneet, a couple from a Hindi serial on a Hindi GEC, but about people you knew and liked and understood! Also made Maan look more believable as this hot-shot advocate who had studied from the premier law school!

3. Woohooo to the fact that they family was not there at the actual 'show-down' and chuck Maan, even i wanted to kill Vicky at butting in at such an inopportune moment!!

BTW, one more of such foiled 'attempts' 😉in your story, i will seriously start believing that you have an inherent censor board installed which automatically deletes anything 'warmer' than a hug... 😡😡

4. On a cheaper note... got real cheap thrills at the fact that it was the girl who took the lead and said 'Chup, bilkul chup!!!' 😆😆 and the subsequent explanation...

5. I loved the fact till the end, it was Maan's POV... our journey was through Maan's mind and heart and though later it is revealed that it was crystal clear to all others, the fact that for us the events unfolded as they did for Maan really made it beautiful...

I loved the options buzzing through Maan's mind... you made him flesh n blood... even in thought he was meticulous, detailing different scenarios 🤣🤣 and weighing the pros and cons... also when he holds her close, the fact that he is sulkily silent, was so characteristic of him in that however vocal he might be professionally, he was inexpressive to the point of being inarticulate in personal relationships...

Those 2 touches made it infinitely more easy to appreciate Maan and the person he was...

Actually this Maan was much more the original Maan in the serial itself...

Overall, i simply loved it... hope you get more time later to start a new SS and to update MPGD!! 🤗 🤗

PS: I AM HOPING GEET FINISHED HER HUGELY IMPORTANT FUNCTION AT JAIPUR AND THEN RUSHED BACK HOME, NOT SACRIFICING HER DREAM FOR THE MAN OF HER DREAMS!!!

Every piece you write is an exquisite piece of work, Jazzy and while I was pining for this to happen I would now miss this story...

Thanks for deciding to add another part..

The Maan and Geet you conceptualised in this story were unique - so was the sense of humor involving the members in the family ... the last chapter of all was priceless !

I loved "Be mine" and "Stupid stupid stupid Maan" 🤣
