It has to be because all the characters are very different from the show. They have the same names. That's all. I wanted to write this FF revolving round the campus because I thought most of us who watch IPKKND will be able to identify with it. We might have faced similar situations in the college. Though I like ASR as a character, I really don't know whether his likes actually exist in this world. In all these years I have never seen one, even if I do, I would most probably steer clear of him.

All the characters in this FF can be found at some walk of the life in the people around us. There are insensitive parents who ruin their children's childhood and innocence like Vikas, there are parents who compare their children with their neighbor's or friend's like Krithika, there are rebellious children like Khushi who follow their heart, people who put up a false mask for the sake of manners and etiquette like Payal, understanding fathers like Rohit, good friends like Akaash, and adorable sisters like Anjali.

Arnav in this FF has become hard and insensitive because of his marred childhood. He too is not cruel. As the FF progresses, he will learn to live life to the fullest like Khushi. He will also learn to love. But the transition will be gradual.
