Episode 1

This story is set in New Delhi, based on Abhay and Piya's lives. They find each other on Twitter and their marriage is fixed by their elders...

Mallik House...

Piya is asleep in her bed, Shilpa comes in and knocks on the door.

Shilpa: Piya, get up it's 7:30 am.

Piya: (in her sleep) Nahi Sis, mujhe sone do.

Shilpa: Piya, lekin aaj pooja hai aur Navratri ka pehla din bhi hai.

Piya suddenly jumps out of her bed.

Piya: Navratri!!! Sis, mujhe pehle kyun nahi bataya? I will be down in a while.

Piya runs to her wardrobe and grabs a glistening pink saree and places it on her bed. She runs into the bathroom.

Raichand house...

Abhay is asleep in his bed, Haseena comes and knocks on the door.

Haseena: Abhay, beta utho.

Abhay: (in his sleep)Nahi Mom , abhi soya hi to hoon.

Haseena: Beta, 7:30 hain!!

Abhay: To mujhe kya hai?

Haseena: Aaj Navratri ka pehla din hai! Isiliye ghar pe pooja hai.

Abhay: Mom, aapko pata hai main in sab baton mein vishwaas nahi karta. I don't believe all this! Jab dekho aapko ek hi baat ki fikar hoti hai.

Haseena: Abhay, mere liye utho phir!!

Abhay gets up and gets a sherwani out of his wardrobe and places it on his bed. He walks to the bathroom.

Malliks House...

Piya: Sis! Main kaisi lag rahi hoon?

Shilpa: Wow!! Bohat sundar!!

Piya: Thanks!! Vaise, aap bhi bohat pretty lag rahi ho.

Shilpa: Thanks Jaanu! Vaise tumhe Raichands ka to pata hi hoga?

Piya: Raichands ko kaun nahi janta!?

Shilpa: Hehe, unki badi bahu Tanushri Raichand ne hum sab ko aaj Navratri ki pooja mein bulaya hai, aaj evening mein. Hum ek baar cooking class mein mile the.

Piya: Wow! Okay Di!! Par wahan bohat crowded hoga, aap pregnant ho isiliye khayal rakhna.

Raichands House...

Abhay: Mom, I'm ready...

Haseena: My god! Abhay tum bohat achhe lag rahe ho.

Abhay: Thanks.

Haseena: Abhay, aaj ke guests ka tumhe pata hi hai par tumhari bhabhi ne ek cookery class se friend ko invite kiya hai. 3 people aayenge, uski dost, uski dost ka pati aur uski dost ki behen. Shilpa kuch baar mili hai humse. Tanu bata rahi thi ke Piya kafi sundar hai, dekh lena, agar acchi lagi to mujhe kehdena.

Haseena laughs and walks off.

Episode 2

Shilpa, Armaan and Piya get into the car and go to the Raichands House...

Raichands House...

Tanushri: Hey Shilpa!

Shilpa: Hi Tanu, how are you?

Tanushri : I'm fine thanks,you?

Shilpa: I'm good.

Tanushri: Piya kahan hai? Mom usse milna chahti thi.

Shilpa: Piya to abhi yaha thi. Oh, wo dekho! Piya!

Piya: Yes Di!

Tanushri: Main Piya ko Mom ke paas lekar jaati hoon.

Tanushri takes Piya to Haseena.

Haseena: Hello Piya. How are you?

Piya: Hello Aunty. I am fine thanks, you? Happy Navratri.

Haseena: I'm okay. Well mannered girl. (smiles) Happy Navratri to you too. Piya, tell me your plans for the future?

Piya: Well, I am in my last year at university so once I am finished with my studies , my sister will probably find a good groom and get me married.

Haseena: Ok, I see. Do you know any good guy?

Piya: No, we don't know any good guy at the moment. I don't even know any boys except some cousins and jiju.

Haseena: Really? So you must be quite a reserved person, right?

Piya: I wouldn't like to sing my own praises, but many people think I am reserved by nature.

Haseena: What are your interests?

Piya: I like dressing up on special occasions a lot. I like reading, writing, cooking and studying.

Haseena: Okay dear, come with me.

Haseena takes Piya to Abhay's room. Haseena says to Piya that she has to go and leaves

AbhIya alone.

Abhay: Hi, I'm Abhay. You?

Piya: I'm Piya, nice to meet you.

Abhay: Umm.. please can you pass me my scarf please?

Piya: Yeah, sure.

Piya passes him his scarf but her pallu and his scarf get tied together by accident. AbhIya gaze into each other's eyes. After a few minutes they hear Haseena's voice and rush downstairs. Haseena asks Abhay and Piya to do the pooja. Abhay is about to grace the moorti's forehead with sindoor when he accidently throws the sindoor into Piya's maang. Everyone is shocked. Haseena asks Shilpa to come to the side for a second.

Haseena: Shilpa, have you found any guy for Piya yet?

Shilpa: Not yet Mrs Raichand. She has just one exam and then her studies are done then we will find a groom.

Haseena: Oh okay. I was thinking of Abhay and Piya's marriage.

Shilpa: Wow! That would be great! I will surely tell you when we make a final decision.

Piya, Shilpa and Armaan set off to their own house. In the way, Piya is lost in Abhay's thoughts while Abhay keeps thinking about Piya in his bedroom.
