Location: Khurana Mansion; Time: 9:10 p.m.;

Maan came out of his room wearing a black suit with a silver tie. As he was going downstairs towards the car, he saw Geet standing in the corridor about to enter 'the' room.

Maan: Geet ruko!
His voice made Geet turn around immediately. Maan walked towards her with long steps almost running. The moment he reached her he pulled her hand away from the door knob and made her face him. Geet notices this and found it rather odd.

Maan: tt'tum yahan corridor mein kk..kya kar rahi ho? Maine tumhe neeche wait karne keliye kahan tha na?
This was the 1^st time ever that she had found him stammering while saying something. There was definitely something wrong. His eyes had always been confident, arrogant, rude and fearless, but this moment there was a slight pain and fear that reflected in them. But fear of WHAT? What on earth could Maan Singh Khurana fear? She couldn't make out.

Geet: woh main neeche hi ja rahi thi'par is kamre se aisi awaaz aayi jaise kucch gira hai! She said while looking straight into his eyes to read them while Maan did everything possible to not look back at her.

Maan: Ghar par koi nahi hai'. Tt..tumhe wehem hua hoga.

Geet: Haan'Shayad!
She thought of leaving the topic sensing Maan being uncomfortable. But she was sure about one thing'
They were Definitely NOT ALONE IN THE MANSION!

Location: Handa Haveli; Time 9:10 p.m;

Arnav dragged Khushi towards the main hall where the families were busy chatting and discussing about the different rituals and functions to be hosted.

Khushi: Nahi, nahi, nahi' mujhse nahi hoga! She said with a tensed face biting the nails of her free hand the moment she saw the family members while still on the door. She kept struggling to get her hand out of Arnav's grip. Arnav sighed fedup of Khushi's stupid excuses and her weird antics.

Arnav: Tumhe apni behen ki koi parwah hai ya nahi? Dekho Khushi agar tumne Daarji se baat nahi ki toh pura plan fail hojaega! Abhi abhi toh tumhe kitchen mein samhaya tha yaar!
He said frustrated.

Khushi: Samajh tum nahi rahe ho. Main jaanti hoon ki meri family, Handa family ke bohot close hain, yahan tak ki DJ ne hamesha mujhe apni grand daughter ki tarah hi maana hai'par phir bhi usse woh sach mein mere Daarji toh nahi hojayenge na? Aur unse GeetDi ke bare mein aisi baat kehna?

She then looked straight in Arnav's eyes. Khushi: Sunte hi mujhe agli flight se wapas Budhapest bhejhdenge woh.

Arnav: Aisa kucch nahi hoga! Main hoon na tumhare saath. Agar baat bigri toh main sambhal loonga'Promise. He said swearing on himself.

Khushi: Accha? Theek hai. Khushi suddenly started gaining confidence. But the moment Arnav held her hand again to take her out the confidence flushed down the drain.

Khushi: nahi..nahi Nahi! She said shooking her head extremely fast, her eyes as if she had seen a ghost!

Aranv: Ahhh! [He said fisting his hands, gritting his teeth and eyes closed. GOD! This girl was really testing his patience now.] Agar tumhara yeh haal plan ke pehle stage par hi hai toh final stage tak toh tum pakka fail kara kar hi dum logi.

Khushi immediately looked at Arnav with her mouth wide open.
Khushi: Mr. Arnav Singh Khurana? Agar aapko apne iss ghise pitte plan par itna hi confidence hai toh khud jaakar baat kyun nahi kar lete?

He had lost it now. She was getting on his nerves.
Arnav: Agar mere baat karne se yeh log maan jaate to main tumhari help maangta hi Kyun SIRPHIRI LADHKI???? He started while gritting his teeth but lost it and almost shouted the last set of words.

Khushi: SSHHH!!!!! Itna chilaoge toh bahar jaakar baat karne ki zaroorat hi nahi paregi.
Hmm. Fine chalo.

Arnav bowed down and showed her the way with a fake smile on his face. Arnav: Ladies First.

Khushi: Jai Devi Mayyiya! Khushi looked up with her joined hands to pray for her wellbeing!!!

Locaton: Somewhere in Delhi;

The Drive to Handa Haveli was very quiet. It had already been about 20 minutes since they had left and would probably take another 20 minutes easily. Maan slowly observed Geet sitting quietly on his left looking outside the window.Her hands were crossed across her chest in a some what protective manner. It was already end of October and Delhi had started becoming cold by this time. He thought maybe she was feeling cold.

Maan: Heater on kar doon? He tried to start a conversation.

Geet: huh? She came out of her deep thought.
Aap chahen toh on kar sakte hain. She said while looking back in the other direction.

Maan without saying anything switched it on. Geet usually never needed the heater. She could most of the times very well adjust to the weather or else keep her self warm wearing appropriate clothes. But today she couldn't help it. She had already once slipped into the pool and on top of that Annie's churidar was a sleeveless one. The last ever time she had felt the same chilly weather was seven years back! The first ever time she had stepped into England. Geet had never been abroad before. Well she was 18 anyway. It was her first foreign land experience and even though she was covered with thermals and an extremely heavy but soft jacket, she could still feel the cool air on her face. It was amazing! It was the first time ever she was going to live independently as an adult. It was her first experience of college life and first time she met Maan'

Geet looked back at Maan, who was absolutely unaware of her thoughts.
Geet (self thought): Main bhi kis Kharoos se umeed lagaye baithi hoon? Beete palon ke bare mein sochke bhi kya fayeda jab innhe unn lamho se koi vaasta hi nahi.
Geet (self thought but whispered unknowingly): Ulloo!

Maan: Kya? Kucch kaha tumne?

Geet: huh? Haan kaha na! Main bohot bore ho rahi hoon.
Maan looked at her with his eyes shot up in a manner like "Whats wrong with you?"

Geet: M..Mujhe music sunna hai.

Maan: Bore? Aur tum? Picchle 25 minutes se tum aise baithi thi jaise ki tum kisi aur hi duniya main ho? Aura b achanak tumhe yaad aa raha hai ki tum bore ho rahi ho.

Geet: Kyuun? Bore hone ke liye bhi ab aapki permission ki zaroorat paregi kya? Oh! I am sorry main bhool gayi thi, zaroorat toh paregi hi aakhir aap PRESIDENT jo hai'.

Maan looked at her again. Geet: Boredom Council ke?

Maan: Geeet!

Geet: mujhe apna naam pata hai! Batane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Aap please radio on kariye.

Location: Handa Haveli;

Arnav and Khushi came in the main Hall and stood next to the sofas where everyone else had gathered.

Rano: Arre tum dono itni der se the kahan? Kitchen mein hi dinner karne ka irada tha kya?

Arnav nudged Khushi and Khushi gave a silly smile. Darji: Puttar kucch bol bhi?

Arnav: Woh Daarji hum shaadi ki tayyiyariyon ke bare mein hi baat kar rahe the.

Daarji: Accha! Toh bhai humme bhi batao.
Everyone looked at Khushi and Arnav.

Arnav : Haan haan, Khushi sabko apna plan batao.
Khushi looked at Arnav with the same silly smile plastered on her face.
Khushi: M..mera plan?

Arnav: Haan Khushi… wahi plan jo tumne mujhe kitchen mein bataya tha. Batao sabko.
Everyone looked at Khushi with curiosity in their eyes.

Khushi: Main kya so..ch rahi thi…. Ki na? Woh DJ…..

Daarji: Puttar! Tu kab se humme kucch kehne mein ghabraane lagi? Bol bhi, ki baat hai?

Saavitri Devi: Haan Beta, bina dare bolo, Kya plan hai tumhara?

Khushi: DJ main jaanti hoon ki aap Geet Di ke liye accha hi sochenge. Par aap toh jaante hi hain ki Di aur Maan jiju pehle toh kabhi mile nahi. Humme unhe kucch time dena chhiye na shaadi se pehle?

Suddenly everyone became serious.
Brij: Khushi, hum jaante hain ki tu Geet se kitna close hai par beta, shaadi ka mahurat nikal chukka hai. Hum shaadi toh postpone nahi kar sakte na?

Khushi: Nahi nahi veerji! Main woh nahi keh rahi thi. Main toh bas soch rahi thi kyun na hum sab shaadi se pehle kahin ghumne chale? Isse dono families ko ek saath bitaane ka waqt bhi mil jaayega.

Brij: Arre wah! Daarji yeh toh patte ki baat kahi hai Khushi ne! good one chutki!

Arnav sighed hearing Brij like the idea.
Khushi: He he!😆 She was too releaved and didn't know what expression to give.

Mohinder: Par Daarji… Itni saari tayiyaariyan karni hain 15 din mein shaadi hai. Hum Aise kaise jaa sakte hain.

Arnav: Uncle Please!!!

SD: Handa sahab! Agar aapko aitraaz na ho toh mere paas ek raasta hai.

Daarji: Kahiye behenji.

SD: Chandigarh se kariban 1 ghante door hamara ek farmhouse hain. Kyun na hum shaadi wahi se kar lein. Dono pariwar wahan chalte hain aur shaadi ke din hum Delhi se Farmhouse tak baraat bhi leyange. Sab saath honge toh Mohinder ki tayyiyariyon ko lekar pareshaani bhi nahi rahegi.

Arnav and Khushi exchanged a look with smile on their faces.
Arnav murmuring: even better!

Daarji: Haanji yeh aacha rahega. Kyun bhai tum logon ka kya kehna hai?

Mohinder and Rajender smiled and nodded.

Daarji: Bas ek baar Maan aur Geet aajayen toh unse bhi pucch lete hain. Aakhir shaadi toh unhi ki hai!

Location: Back to the car;

Geet switched on the radio.

ooh la la ooh la la! Ooh la la , ooh la la.
tu hai meri fantasy.

Maan and Geet exchanged a look and Geet immediately changed the channel.

Ehh… ehh ehh
Come here rude boy boy
Can you get it up?
Come here rude boy boy
Is it big enough?

Maan: Geet channel change karo.

Geet: Oh please! Don't tell me aap abhi bhi wahi purane Baba Adam ke zamaane ke gaane sunte ho?

Maan: Geet, I said change the channel right NOW!

Geet: Accha Baba, par hum koi purana gaana nahi sunenge.
Saying this she changed the channel.

Their heart beats rose tremendously. Geet's fingers froze and fresh tears formed in her eyes. Maan moved to change the channel when Geet stopped him.

Geet: Mujhe yahi gaana sunna hai.

Maan and Geet were led back to the day 7 years back when they both first met.

Flashback: Location: University College London; 7 years back; Fall semester;

Maan stood in the arrivals hall with UCL board and some students who had already arrived sitting and interacting with each other at a little distance from him.

Camelia: Hey Maan! Has everyone on your list arrived?
Maan: Nope, One left. Geet… Ah! Geet Handa.

Camelia: Oh okay. Actually I and Mac are leaving. I just wanted to inform you.
Maan: Sure, carry on.

Camelia: See you at uni then.

Maan turned around after seeing Camelia fade away in the crowd when his eyes fell on a trolley with two large suitcases kept one upon other, a black cabin suitcase upon the bigger ones and a big pink hand bag on top of it. The owner of the luggage wasn't visible to his eyes as the person was hidden behind so much of luggage.

Maan (self thought): phew! Is the luggage for the whole family or what? Guess that is the maximum a person was allowed to carry. People are too difficult to understand these days.

He smiled and shook his head in amazement. He turned around on the other side to see if there was any young girl standing looking like a university student. May be Geet hadn't seen the UCL board in his hand yet! That's when he heard a loud noise as if something really heavy fell down. He turned around to see that the trolley was just an inche away from his leg and all the luggage had fallen off. Maan for once didn't know how to react. Was he supposed to be all surprised and irritated by this stupid girl carrying so much of luggage and ready to hit him with her trolley or laugh at the poor soul. Until he saw her…
