Instantly Abhay threw a shocking glance on Raveena's brown face.She got alert and Sam whispered to her,"He reads minds".She smiled at Abhay and clicked on her watch warning him.Abhay tightened his grip around Pia's waist and she saw Arjun,Raveena and Sam-her adoptive family standing behind a pillar.She looked at Abhay and he spoke to her very softly,"I'm with you,don't worry".Abhay took Haseena aside along with Pia and asked her,"Mom what's this?What are animals doing here?".Pia suddenly remembered about Vansh.If he was a werewolf and if Raveena could be Haseena's sister then this trio had to be supernaturals.Haseena looked puzzled."I didn't invite them Abhay",she said."But they are here",he spoke in fury."And I'm in danger a'int I?",Pia asked in a dried voice.Haseena held her shaking shoulders and said,"We're here to protect you"."But from what mom?Why do they want me dead?Why would they want Vansh try to rape me?Why did they adopt me?",Pia asked nearly crying."Pia I'll tell you everything.Just be normal infront of our friends.This is our engagement party and I'm not letting anyone destroy my plans",Abhay said pulling her to a compassionate hug."Okay",she whispered.Abhay smiled and took her to a low platform at the right side of the huge hall."Ladies and gentlemen could you please excuse me,I want to share a very happy moment of my life with you all.I Abhay Raichand am truly,deeply,passionately in love with the most beautiful girl in this universe",he said on the mic.Then turning to Pia he spoke,"Pia my darling said yes to my proposal and therefore today morning I got engaged to Pia.We'll be married soon Pia,I promise you.Therefore enjoy the party and please help yourselves to the food and beverages.Thank you".Pia's face lightened up with a huge smile.Abhay whispered to her,"I'm glad that I don't have a heart 'cause if I did,it would stop functioning every time you gave your million dollar smile".Pia started blushing harder.Abhay knew that the Saxenas were planning to kill Pia but he didn't want her to get worried.So for the rest of the party,he kept joking around making her laugh the most.The Saxenas had left pretty soon.Nearly everyone came to know that they had adopted Pia and etc.After one hour,at nine-thirty,Abhay requested everyone to have a dance.The bright neon lights changed to dull blue lights.A series of soft romantic songs were being played.Abhay took Pia to the centre of the hall.The sharp blue lights were making her reddish pink saree glimmer in beauty.The starting song was a new track "Chahoon bhi" from a Bollywood movie 'Force'.Pia touched her face with Abhay's as they held each other very intimately.Every couple was having a close dance.One could barely see them.As Abhay slowly swirled her around,Pia whispered,"Thank you!". "For what?",he asked kissing her hair."For loving me",she said."But I haven't yet done what I had planned for tonight",he said winking an eye at her.Pia broke the embrace and hit him slightly on his chest."I'm not talking about making love,I'm saying about loving me you know what you were saying 'truly,deeply,passionately in love'",she said.Abhay kissed her below her eyebrow,"I know what you meant Pia,it's just that I love to tease you".Pia blushed as the music shuffled to 'Kahin to' from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na."How come this song always plays when we're close,very close?",she asked."You remember that night?",he asked."Ofcourse I do,it was the happiest moment of my existence",she said."Don't you worry that you can get pregnant?",he asked in a soft whisper."I don't mind Abhay,to have our love in my womb will be the loveliest experience ever",she whispered back.Abhay kissed her lips softly."You don't know what you're talking about",he said."I don't care!As long as you are there with me,I don't care about anything",she said."I love you the most one person can",he said kissing her earlobes.The songs keep changing and all the friends and lovers of Dehradun kept dancing till the huge grandfather clock chimed twelve times.It was midnight.All the guests started leaving after biding Pia and Abhay 'goodnight'.Abhay was at the parking lot for a long time saying goodbye to all.When all had left,he took Pia to his Mercedes-Benz."Wha..?We're we going?",she asked."You forgot?I promised to give you my engagement gift?",he asked.Pia smiled and sat in."Umm lemme guess,a candle light dinner?No umm a private cruise in the middle of the river?Or a seaside swim?Tell me na Abhay",she said."I've planned everything you just said Pia and...and well I'll show you soon",he said."I'm gonna do all that in this saree?",she asked."I've brought clothes for you honey",he said.Suddenly she turned sad."Abhay tell me about the Saxenas",she said.
