@part66,67 and 68- the robbery and Geet's actions to save Annie completely took me by shock!..I was really astonished seeing the extent Geet can go to save the one she cares about!..amazing..👏..i will again say that your FF has one of the strongest Geet and she is the hero of this story!..she is so clever and intelligent at the same time..she never loose her mind even in the worst of situations!..hats off to you for writing such a strong character!.. Geet going through all that and then being knifed was terrifying to read..her family's reaction was very well written and so was Maan's!..He is trying to be strong for everyone but it looks like he has been deeply terrified with the thought of loosing his Geet!..i am waiting for a Geet-Maan movement where Maan opens up about how he actually felt knowing about her condition and how hard it was for him to keep himself from breaking down!..after knowing about what all Geet did for Annie's honor,he will be hell shocked !..cant wait for next part and I am truly in love with your Geet👏⭐️👍🏼

Friends, this update is dedicated to two people. First is Piya who has made this wonderful banner for my FF. Thanks a lot Piya. You have made me feel very special and loved today.

Second person is maneetangel's sister Roma. Her sister can not read FFs on IF due to time and net restrictions. But still Angel passed her my FF and she enjoyed it so much that she sent me a beautiful message thru her.

I am overwhelmed at the love and affections my friends on IF shower on me.

Unfortunately, this update is a little on a sad note. But it is with a promise that coming week will be high on positivity. So please have patience…..this is just to close the loop as I have to properly end this track.

Chapter 69 – Revelations

Two Weeks Later – Tuesday 30^th November Morning

Geet sat watching television. Maan's face covered most of it as the news repeated the telecast of last evening party at Rashtrapati Bhavan. There were snippets of President's and Maan's speech as he was felicitated again for receiving Nobel Prize.

It was followed by questions by some reporters. Geet smiled slightly seeing anger in his eyes when a certain reporter probed further on the reason for leaving the ceremony so suddenly. His curt reply "No Comments…It was a personal emergency as I said" was forced as was the smile on his face. He happily just took the next question elaborating about the new fellowship course being inaugurated with Medicity and AIIMS as partners to increase the expertise in fighting nemocytis.

Geet tightened her hold on pillow and sighed. Juhi averted her gaze from TV and asked her – "Kya hua beta"

Geet smiled – "Kuch nahin Beeji"

Last two weeks had been spent by everyone pampering and taking care of Geet. But Geet felt restless. It had been more than two weeks, two long weeks since she had spent even a single moment alone with Maan. She did not even get chance to talk to him on phone as Annie slept with her in nights.

Why she asked for Annie was another matter all together. But for now she just wanted to hold him, touch him, talk to him and if not that just look at him.

It is not that they haven't met. Maan had come to meet her every day. In fact he had spent hours with her. Checking her, making her eat, entertaining her with songs, jokes. He even played cards with her. But still she yearned for him.

Yesterday even ACP uncle had come to inform them about the progress of the case. All three were seasoned crooks who were known for robbery in multiple houses in south Delhi. They were also responsible for another robbery few months back in which they had killed an elderly couple staying alone. Robber 1 and Robber 3 had later succumbed to their injuries as they received multiple shots. And Robber 2 too was now in police custody. But his one leg had been amputated because of the bullet and he faced lifetime imprisonment because of his previous and current crimes.

All at home had rejoiced at their well deserved fate but Geet had still remained restless. She glanced at Maan and saw him looking at her with eyes full of love and concern.

She sighed once again with longing.

Evening 5:00 PM

Geet was having a fight with Rahul.

Geet – "Mujhe Mandir jaana hai…bas…it has been two weeks and I am feeling much better. Even Maan has allowed me to walk inside the house"

Rahul shot back – "Exactly, inside the house. That too on ground floor only. Temple is outside and has stairs if you are not aware."

Geet screamed – "Babaji….thodi akal do inhe…I don't care…I am fed up with this house arrest."

Rahul just shrugged his shoulders.

Geet got mad. She took her pillow and threw it at the floor. Pillow stopped at Maan's foot.

Rahul – "Thank God Maan!!! You are here. Ab tu hi ise samjha….she wants to go to temple….how can she go especially steps"

Geet looked at Maan with expectation.

Maan agreed- "That's true….she can not go on steps at least for another month"

Geet was aghast. She lay on the bed hiding her face in the pillow. Tears rolled out her eyes. She was frustrated and Maan was her last hope.

Maan continued – "But I think she can go outside and temple sounds good. It has only few steps and between you and me, we can carry her over"

Geet looked up with her tear strained eyes at Maan who gave her a smile. Rahul looked at Maan in surprise. Maan came closer and wipes her tears with his finger. "Ab apni Geet ke liye itna to hum kar hi sakte hain…hain na"

Geet smiled and hugged Maan. She parts and stuck her tongue at Rahul who just smiled at her antics. "Thik hai baba, ab doctor sahib ne permission de di hai to chal"

Geet went to temple along with Maan, Rahul and Nisha.

Rahul picked her up and took her inside.

Panditji – "Are bitiya…kya hua…sab thik to hai"

Geet smiled – "Haan Panditji…chota sa accident ho gaya tha but now everything is fine."

All four of the prayed and came back home.

While driving back

Geet – "Thanks Maan…aaj mujhe bahut acha laga bahar aake"

Maan smiled – "thik hai Geet…I can understand your restlesness…lekin koi badmasshi nahin please…agar tumhe kuch cahiye to tum humein bolo lekin don't take any risks….hum sab yahi cahte hain ki tum jaldi se thik ho jao…hmmm"

Geet nodded and said in her head. "I know Maan aapko meri kitni fikar hai…main jaldi se thik ho jaoongi and then you will have to spend atleast one entire day with me…kitne din ho gaye…I just want to feel you near me"

One day later, 1^st December Morning 8:00 AM

Annie was pacing in her room. Flashes of attack came in front of her eyes. She could hear Geet's voice – "please don't tell mom and dad about what he did to me…please". Then another voice rendered in her ears – "chod do mujhe…please…chod do mujhe" Difference was that first one was a flashback whereas second one….Annie shivered. She couldn't take it any longer. She needed to tell somebody.

She closed her eyes and walked into the library.

"Rahul Bhayia, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai"

Rahul – "Haan bol guddan"

Annie hesitated. "Aap Maan bhaiya ko bhi bula lo"

Rahul - "Lekin baat kya hai Annie"

Annie just looked lost – "please"

Rahul called Maan and asked him to come to library. Maan entered to see Annie and Rahul.

Maan – "Kya hua"

Annie – "Woh muhje aap logon ko kuch batana hai"

Maan – "Kya"

Annie broke down."Har raat…Geet Di…."

----Flashback----

Annie is sleeping with Geet. Geet insisted that only Annie should be with her. First Annie did not understand but somewhere around 1:00 PM she understood.

Annie was deep in sleep when she heard voices. She got up to see Geet turning and twisting in sleep. Her face was twisted in agony and disgust. Her hands were folded on her chest –"chod do mujhe…chod do…please". She was screaming. Tears rolled out of Annie's eyes.

Annie –"Di….uthiye Di….dekhiye koi nahin hai yahan"

Geet got up with a start. But she just looked thru Annie. Geet walked painfully to the bathroom and switched on the shower. She stood underneath the cold water. Annie struggled to get her out but Geet was in trance.

Annie -"Yeh aap kya kar rahe ho"

Geet – "I am dirty…see…see there is dirt all over me….I need to wash it…wash it away"

Annie somehow got Geet out and rubbed her dry. Geet sat on the bed hugging her knees. After a long time Annie rocked her to sleep.

Next day morning, Geet begged Annie not to tell this to anyone. She promised that she just needed some time.

----Flashback ends---

Annie – "And this is what has been happening every night since then. I can't see her like this anymore. My heart breaks every night to see her in this pain."

Chill settled in Maan's heart.

Rahul was agitated – "What the hell exactly happened that day and why didn't you tell this earlier"

Annie – "She asked me not to tell anyone especially bade pa and badi ma."

Rahul - "But what happened?"

Annie hesitated. She lowered her gaze – "It is difficult to tell"

Rahul came near to her and placed his hands on her shoulder – "Annie, please tell me…please"

Annie sobbed and recounted how Geed saved her by pretending she was just a maid. She continued - "One of them…he…he kissed her forcibly…tore….tore her shirt and …and Bra….he touched her with hand and….and mouth there when the police came"

Rahul sucked in a breath. His eyes closed in aguish. Never…not even in his nightmare also he could think something like this happening to his sister.

Rahul was grief stricken – "No….No….this can't be true"

He walked back and bumped into Maan. Rahul turned and hugged Maan crying. Maan stood frozen. Tears swam in his eyes. His heart was shattering and bleeding "Meri Mishti….Meri Jaan….I wasn't there when she needed me the most. Her eyes sought me out…I could feel her need to talk to me alone but I wasn't there"
