hey i have a similar story just little different.i mean same marriage and widow in childhood. can i share it on this same thread if u wish. i just want to share.
i just read ur story. i reminded me of that story. that was the only story with a happy ending in that book.
with ur permission i'll write.
i respect u writers alot. u put so many effort to write a story.
so just wanted permission.

it's my first attempt to write anything. because i have a phobia of writing any thing long.
sorry for mistakes and ihope u will like it.
waiting for ur reply. here is first part.
there will be one or two more parts.

Geet was not a simple girl. She was teacher in government school in her village. But that was not the difference. The difference between her and other girls was that she is widow without seeing her husband.

Yes, she was a widow. At the age of eleven, her invisible husband died whom she never saw. Every body was crying but she was not. She even didnot know why they were crying. she wasjust asked to wear white clothes. her all jewellaries were taken off.after that Her parents took her back to their home because her in laws denied to take care of her.

She was not allowed to wear colorful clothes. She loved to wear colorful clothes but can't go against her family.

Her elder brother was living in town with his wife. He was employed in a post office. She wanted to study. She asked her parents . they did not want her to study. But they permitted her. Because she was going to live with them for her whole life. And her sister in law doesnot want her burden on them. They all agreed for her study. She did her B.Ed. from town and became a teacher in her village.

She was coming back from school. Just out of her curiosity she looked inside the akhara and she loved the site she saw.

She saw a muscled man doing exercise.

His name was Maan singh Khurana. Geet had a huge secret crush on him. But she cant say anything.

She was afraid of reaction. Everybody in her village knew Maan and respected him alot.

He was very famous. He did so many social work forthe village.

He was different from everybody. His parents died in his childhood. He has a younger sister. he brought her up working hard. He was very educated and employed in the city. He sent her sister to study in city. He didn't even question about her male friends.

The news was that his sister selected guy for her herself. And he permitted. In a small village, it was a big gossip.

But Geet admired him alot.

She watched him secretly every time he is nearby.

But alas she was a widow.

But she did not know how much her charming prince loved her.

Part 2

As soon as maan turned she ran away from there.

She reached home and straight went to her room. She closed the door and wrote about her feelings on a rough page and put it in her bag. she can't take any chance. if her family come to know about it they will kill her. They won't check any paper and even if they see it, it is written in English so they won't understand anything. so either they will chuck it or returned it back to her thinking it to be a school work.

He was going to akhara. He would leave day after tomorrow for city but did not know how to say anything to her. Then he saw her. She was searching something in her bag while running for school and dropped a rugged page. She did not know.

He took it as his last chance to talk to her. He picked the page to return it. He was not intending to read it. But then he saw "love him" written on it. His world came to a standstill. He did not know what to do. He was shattered.

So he opened the page to read more. But as he opened the page it gave back his life,his happiness as he came to know he is the person whom she love.

He went to her school and sat outside watching her teaching the kids. She herself was just like a kid.

She was numb when she took the paper because she knew it was the same paper. Of course he has read it as it was neatly folded. And of course he had understood everything as he was good in English. jokes apart. She really did not know what to do. She looked down. But suddenly a hand came to her lips. she looked in his eyes. As soon as she looked up, he started kissing her passionately. It was too dreamy to be reality. But it was real.

After some time, they parted to breath. Then maan said,"i love u too, geet. It not now, i has loved you since i have seen u . it's been 5 years since i've fallen for you. I couldn't muster enough courage to tell u about my feelings as i was afraid of rejection."

Geet was surprised. Of course she was happy that he loved her but surprised that how can he think that she will reject him. No girl would do that. He was a dream for every girl.

She just hugged him. After sometime she asked whether it is reality or not. He just laughed. And kissed her on her forhead. She shied and said she was getting late and ran away. After getting out of school she saw something which make her go white.

She is so dead now don't know what todo.

Stupid maan how can he think that geet would not accept him!!! Idiot!!! Their love story would ve started 5 yrs ago then!!! But better late than never!!!

Omg what did geet saw outside??? Don't tell me someone from her family saw her with him!!!
