"What ball were you talking about Miss Gupta?" Arnav mocked making his way inside the house.
"That is none of your business!" Khushi said through gritted teeth.
"Looks like you haven't been taught how to greet a guest? Some respect would be very much appreciated" Arnav asked smirking slightly when Khushi sent a deadly glare his way.
"You can't GET respect Mr Raizada, you have to earn it." Khushi said lifting her chin high up in the air before stepping aside in order to make her way towards the lounge room.
Arnav stared at her retreating back before following her lead and making his way towards the luxurious lounge room. As he made his way towards the sitting room he couldn't help but admit that the Guptas indeed had good living standards and this magnificent house itself was a proof of that.
Once inside the living room Arnav was introduced to all the family members. Arnav soon realised that Mr Gupta was a man with few words and rock solid beliefs where as Mrs Gupta was an entirely different story. She could be fussy at times but her kindness and honesty was what held this family together. Arnav had known Payal since his university days her being Khushi's older sister. Now as he sat beside her on the dinning table he could tell that she was still the quite shy girl whom he had met all those years ago.
"Well at least she talks occassionally...unlike her sister who is always looking for an excuse to kill my ears" He thought to himself while giving a sideways glance to Khushi who was seated on his right side, staring at her untouched plate of dinner.
Mrs Gupta was busy telling them about some childhood memories of Payal and Khushi. As he sat on the dinning table he couldn't help but wonder whether his family would have been a happy family like this if his parents hadn't died all those years ago.
"So Arnav, Payal here just told me that you guys already know each other from your high school days..is that right?" Mrs Gupta spoke up breaking Arnav's chain of thought.
"Uh..yes Payal was my senior and Khushi and I were in the same grade," Arnav said smiling kindly.
"That's great then, working together would be even more easier and fun for you two then..right?"
Arnav looked at Khushi who was looking back at him as if she had just seen a ghost. Arnav smirked before switching his attention back to Mrs Gupta.
"Yes indeed its going to be fun." He said indifferently.

Khushi had been pleased with the fact that nothing had gone out of control and that she was never left alone with that Rakshaas laad governer but this pleasant thought of hers wasn't very long lived as soon after she was instructed by her mother to walk the mighty ASR to his car.
She was dancing and twirling in the rain, enjoying the the rain as it fell on her. The rain got louder, only to cause her to spin faster. The pallu of her saree ran after her, and before she could realise, it got caught underneath her foot. Tangling herself, she kept spinning unaware of the mess she was creating until she slipped.
She closed her eyes waiting to hit the hard ground patiently, but instead she felt manly arms around her. She was brought up from the ground to bump into a warm hard chest. Her hands involuntarily flew up, one on his chest while the other rested on his arm. Relishing in the warmth of him, she snuggled into his chest without realizing what she was doing. Relief washed over her and in that instant she knew that she was safe and that no harm would ever. come to her.
Arnav looked down at her wet form, her eyes were closed tightly and suddenly he had a strange feeling of holding on and never letting go of her. He tightened his arms around her feeling her snuggle closer to him. It felt right, he felt at ease.
"Khush are you okay?" he asked worried that she still hadn't said a word. Khushi's eyes flew open as reality dawned on her. Had he just called her Khush? She looked at him bewildered. She couldn't exactly remember the last time he had called her that, and she had never expected to hear her nickname again, not in this life time at least.
Arnav stiffened as he realised what had just happened. How can you loose control like this ASR? Remember this is the girl who put you through so much pain! How can u forget? he thought placing her on her feet in a swift motion and walking away from there not giving her the chance to question him and not bothering to explain anything to her.
Well how did you all find it? Please leave comments and likes!! We really want to know what you think about the FF and if we should continue 😉
