I am sorry for being really harsh but I cannot tolerate emotional blackmailing and being taken for granted. I am not threatening to you or saying to you that I will not read your FFs or something because really DO LIKE your FFs. I will keep reading your FFs. it is just when you demand more and more likes but do not update regularly and not even bother giving reasons for not updating, it feels like you taking your all readers granted.

To all the other readers - like everyone in the forums - I too have a right to say what I feel. I am not bashing Muskan here. this is my POV about her demand for more likes. If she wants more likes than I want more updates. it is that simple. so Please no Juta, chappal, rotten tomatoes for me OK.

Muskan usually really bothers to always give reasons for not updating for long.
She is the one who always gives a heads up
There is her facebook linky and regular status updates can be gotten from there.
Hope u know and follow that.
You can also see the volume of demands
When she spends so much time on meeting those
I feel she has all the rights to demand just few secs for liking her work.
All of us would love to be appreciated right.

Just wanted to say a few things...

Most of us are not directly in touch with Muskaan to know that she is on a holiday. We have just been seeing that there are no updates and I myself have gone to her IF profile and not seen any posts notifying us of no updates for some time/holiday. Again, the comments in her post are so many that one cannot go through them page by page to read if anybody knows anything abt when she is updating. And since the comment she left on her last update requested for more likes, many of us are under the assumption that she will only update when she gets 500 likes on every update. I would not be surprised that some of us are impatient. Because we love her writing so much.

Muskan, you are one of the most accomplished writers on IF and the most popular one - so your readers are equally demanding. Just like each one of us, your family and personal life come first - would it be too much to ask that the next time you are on leave - pls let us know with a simple line in your thread - just like you had when your family was visiting. Everybody understands, we are all normal human beings.

Last point, I know your no of your readers is increasing day by day - pls atleast update for the 400 people who read regularly and click the like button instead of being disappointed by the 75-100 people who dont...Just know that these 400 people love you more and hold you in much higher regard than those 100 people ever can...

its not that di only updates after she gets certain no. of likes...believe a stalker like me...di does mention that she will only update after she gets certain no. of likes...but that never happens...she updates wenever she can make it...she will crib over the no. of likes but she updates...she has all the right to crib over the no. of likes wen ppl read but dont hit the like button...wen a certain part can get 500 likes why cant all the parts updated in the same day get the same 500 likes...??? its FF thats certainly means ppl read all the parts den why so much of diff betwn the no. of likes on the parts updated on the same day...??? we always blame but never analyse...she has personal commitments too..we shud understand that...like we cum here wen we have free tym...she too does the same...!!! our schedules change during weekends so does her...but if we forget the weekends isnt she regular during weekdays...???

Believe me, you didnt have to spend so much time/so many words explaining to me. I read your comment and re-read mine once again - I think I have been extremely polite in my comment and I wasnt expecting such harsh words/exclamation marks from you.

My request to Muskaan abt notifying was very polite .I think I just wanted to put forward in a very gentle way why many of the readers are impatient. I was not "blasting" her or complaining in any way - just suggesting to put up a note in a way ppl would notice.

I totally understand the importance of family - and i mentioned that - I have a family myself. I dont think I wrote something which says "ignore ur family and write for us, else we'll bash you". your comments surely made me feel like that.

I dont go looking out for your posts and wont be doing so in future either - since I am totally satisfied with the kind of response Muskaan gives, so kindly forgive me for not paying attention to them.

And I am totally entitled to write to her about my POV on the "likes" thing. It just meant to say that we love her more than people who dont care to spend 2 secs pressing the like button.
