Ok guys, so this is my first Fan-Fiction on ArHi! Actually, I had recieved many amazing comments to the previous OS I wrote, so I decided to take it a step further and write an FF! But...I do need your comments again! Samajhlo they inspire me to write further. Let me warn you though! I'm DANGEROUSLY lazy!😆

Chapter 1: Broken Dreams

Khushi sat on the master bed, her heart sinking. The entire marriage ceremony had been a breeze. It had gone by so quickly that Khushi had not had the time to repent over it. 2 hours later, as she sat waiting for her newly wed husband to remove the veil hiding her face, it had struck her. She was married...defeated.

She felt the tears emerge finally, from her reddened eyes. This was it...all her dreams...hopes...desires...lost... They were gone... And Arjun...

She felt a lump in her throat. That was an entirely different chapter. She closed her eyes, willing herself to forget.. to forget she was married... to forget she had ever been in love... to forget the betrayal from her family... But it was not so easy. The marriage had evoked new scars within her heart... scars that would now be difficult to heal...

The loud creaking of the door disturbed her from her thoughts. She felt an aura of dread overcome her. This can't possibly be happening to me... She denied. It's all a nightmare Khushi... you'll wake up and then you'll see that you're still safe at home...with your family...with Arjun... As much as she tried convincing herself, she knew it was a lie. Things would never return to normal... she thought, sobbing silently. She was trapped...trapped in an eternal bond... with a man she knew she could never love.

What does destiny have in store for me...?

She already knew the answer. Nothing but despair.

An OS gets completed in 1 part, whereas an FF takes many parts to get completed. :) Hope I helped!😛

Poor Khushi...you can feel her suffocation as you read through her thoughts.
