Khurana House:

It's been almost 24 hours Piya went missing. Jeh Khurana was standing in front of his window, lost in his thoughts, wondering where his fianc would be right now. He closed his eyes in desperation and the events from last night flashed in front of his eyes. Prabeen Jaiswal was extremely upset; he showed a letter to Jeh will full apologetical eyes that Piya has run away from house. Jeh and his mother Dipannita Khurana somehow managed the situation and told the guests that the wedding announcement party has been called off due to unavoidable reasons. Nevertheless, People talk and rumors fly faster then wind. People guess the orphan girl ran away with someone but Jeh would never believe that. He looked at the letter again and again,

"Jeh, I can't marry you. Please forgive me. I'm leaving and don't search for me.

- Piya."

Jeh is no fool; if he has known Piya then he was sure she didn't ran away. There's something else going on. It's not like they were in deep love. This wedding was completely arranged by his mother but he only agreed because he liked Piya. With one single call, he can make a line of girls waiting outside his house to be Mrs. Jeh Khurana but Piya was someone entirely singular from all the girls he had come across or dated otherwise Jeh Khurana doesn't care about girls. Dipannita Khurana enters Jeh's room and saw him standing in front of the window. She knew how upset his son is. Jeh didn't realize his mother's presence. She silently put her hand on Jeh's shoulder and called him softly, "Jeh beta.." Jeh came back to the world and looked at her, "yea mom."

D: (softly) "beta I know you're very upset but just accept the facts and move on."

J: (outbursting) "Mom, it's been 24 hours and no one even saw her. Prabeen uncle is the legal guardian of Piya and he didn't even report to the police for his missing niece? Doesn't that sound a bit weird to u?"

D: "Jeh, face the facts my son. She's not missing. She RAN AWAY. It's not Prabeen's fault or your fault and whatever Prabeen is doing, we must support him. We need him."

J: (not convinced at all) "Mom. I don't believe she ran away. I even talked to 3-4 hours ago she went missing. She told me, she liked the saree I send her and she will be wearing that tonight. She sounded perfectly Okey. Then how come it is possible that she changed her mind within hours?"

D (shaking her head): 'I can understand your distress beta but please accept it. And don't even dare to go against Prabeen. Don't forget that out business is sinking and Prabeen is the ship showing us light to rise up again. We NEED him. So we are gonna support him whatever he says or does."

J (looking disgusted): "You are thinking about money mom? Think about that girl for once. Prabeen uncle and his wife never treated Piya as their own daughter. I'm sure they are after her money. I even doubt if the huge property is his or Piya's!!"

D (angry): 'ENOUGH Jeh. Mark my words and remember what I told. This discussion is over."

Dipannita left the room but Jeh is not at all convinced. He made a mental note of hiring a private detective to look for Piya. His heart was telling him Piya can't get that low. He trusts her but apparently he can't go against his mom. He has to work under cover.

AR Villa: (24 hours ago)

No servants are allowed to stay at AR Villa at nighttime. They stay at the servant's quarter behind the main mansion. Maria accidentally came to AR Villa to get her things back and saw Master Raichand entering the house wet from head to toe, an unconscious girl in his arms and who's probably hurt. Maria froze at her place, unable to say anything when Abhay made her life a bit easier by shouting, "Maria, quick. Get some cloths for her. NOW!!"

Maria still froze and unable to react first called Aryan, "Master Aryan, you need to come home quickly. Master Raichand has brought home an unconscious girl with him. He looks anxious!!"

Aryan was shocked to hear that Abhay brought his dinner home because he doesn't kill humans. However he assured Maria that he would be home any minute. Abhay placed Piya carefully on the soft pillow of the huge bed in guestroom and shouted, "MARIAA!!" Abhay looked at the unconscious girl's feet for the first time, her feet were bleeding and muddy, seems like she has ran bare feet a long way. There were thorns in her feet. Her bleeding need to be stopped fast, the smell of her blood was driving him crazy. Maria came running with fresh cloths from Lady AR's room. Abhay told her to change her wet cloths gesturing he's going outside. After few minutes, Maria came out of the room and Abhay asked for a bowl of lukewarm water and some towels. After everything he needed was provided, he told Maria to sign off from the house. Abhay looked at the innocent sleeping angel and wondered who would hurt her like this. There was no sign of consciousness. He noticed someone grabbed her wrist so tightly that the sign of clutch was still marked on her wrist. For some unknown reason he felt like killing whoever it was. He slowly started giving healing kisses to all the bruised spots on her hand. The final cut on the forehead was too bloody and he wasn't willing to take the risk of killing the girl. Her blood smells really good and he was afraid if once more he tasted it, he will be out of control. After almost 100 years, he was feeling so restless and he was unknown to the face why. He tried to divert his mind from the blood and healed the deep wound on her forehead with his hand and slowly started washing her feet with the warm water.

When Aryan rushed to the spot to avoid any mishap that his brother will regret later his jaw dropped at the sight of Abhay washing an unconscious girl's feet tenderly. He was frozen at the door for several minutes, unable to ask Abhay any questions but obviously Abhay knew he was behind him and said, "She jumped into the river. I saved her. She was attacked probably. There were bruises all over her hand and forehead."

Aryan was very much aware of his vampire brother's savior side. In fact, long ago Abhay is the one who brought him back from death by his own blood and since then a wizard and vampire are blood brothers, they were bonded by blood. Aryan stood beside the bed and looked at the girl, she seems familiar to him. Abhay was now busy healing her feet after washing them and asked in between, "Can you please spellbind her Aryan, to find out her identity, and then we can inform her family. They must be worried about her."

Aryan: (thinking) "But bhai she is still unconscious and it will be injurious for her health if I try to charm her right now so that she can speak. You have healed her so she will gain consciousness soon then we will inform her family. or someone will be looking for her na?"

Abhay (looking worried): "alright. Let her sleep then. I hope she won't panic after finding herself here. She will be ok within morning and we will inform her family then"

Abhay carefully covered her in the blue quilt and left the room.

Meanwhile Piya Jaiswal was in a stupor....

Someone knocked on her door, "Open" She shouted and a servant came in. "Piya baby, shaheb told you to come downstairs within 15minutes."

"Told him, I will be there." (the servant left)

Piya finished combing her hair and stand beside the window, the moon is soo beautiful. Suddenly she saw his mamaji and a female figure standing outside the outhouse. The lights around the house were playing shadow games so recognizing the woman was a bit difficult. She looked more carefully, her mamaji was holding some papers in his hands and the two moved and she was shocked to see another figure was Jeh's mom, Dipannita Khurana. "What was she doing here? Jeh just told me 10 minutes ago that his mother has gone for some business work and will be late for the party!! What are those papers? And why they aren't in the house and sneaking into the outhouse. I must see what's going on."

She tiptoed from her room and quickly went outside from the backdoor without anyone noticing her. Seeking truth and lies and playing detective is her childhood habit. She just can't stop herself form being Miss. Marple!! When Piya reached near the outhouse, Prabeen and Dipannita were in front of the entrance door. She quickly hid behind a bush.

Prabeen: "All the papers are here. I told you she will sign everything. Here's the paper, though it will take like two weeks to transfer everything in my name. Need just 1 more signature and I will get it soon.

Dipannita (confused): "Prabeen, Are you sure, she will agree to sell her mother's house as well?"

Prabeen (laughs): "Who's telling her? She trusts me and will do whatever I will tell her to. She's going to end up exactly where her mother ended up, in mental asylum. Because it will be just as I planned"

Before Dipannita would say anything, Piya came into light unable to hold her anger and emotions anymore. Her hand clenched into fist, angry tears swelling up into her eyes. 'You...you... You are responsible for sending my mother to asylum.. Why? She would have happily given you all her money...I will never SIGN ANYTHING...I will tell everyone."

Both D and P were shocked from this interruption and Prabeen rushed towards Piya and held her hand. "Beta you are misunderstanding me." Piya freed her hand with a jerk, "Don't touch me. I never uttered 1 word to you for all the degradation you have done with me but NOT ONE WORD against my mother."

Prabeen understood the sweet talk is not gonna work, time for action. He slapped Piya hard one the face that she almost fell on the ground. Dipannita was unable to react to this situation. Prabeen dragged Piya inside the outside by pulling her hair and told Dipannita to close the door. He smacked her head on the wall and she fell on the ground. Piya was still semi-conscious.

D: "What have you done Prabeen? Guests have started to arrive. I know no one would hear us but what if someone comes near the outhouse? What the hell I'm gonna tell Jeh?"

P: "I will arrange everything. Don't you worry? And the medicines that I have been giving her will surely start working from now."

D: "You mean slow-poisoning?"

P: "yes.. she will not die but she won't be mentally sound and it will start showing symptoms gradually."

Piya mumbled in pain, "mamma..mamma...save me."

Prabeen kicked on the lying figure of Piya and she cried in pain. She felt bones of her hand breaking. He bended and made her face him, "do you know why your mother committed suicide? Because of you."

Piya cried, "Noo...never." (her head bleeding now, her body drenched in pain, her head was feeling heavy like a ton)."

Prabeen: "yess.. because of your father and you. She hated you because that's the only thing that reminded her of your filthy father who left you both like garbage.. you are nothing more then a burden to her.."

Piya (sobbing): "She...she told you that? (The medicine started working in her imbalanced mental state)

Prabeen: "Off course she told me that before she committed suicide... That's why I hated you and your father for my entire life...You're a sin and the price is paid by your mother through giving up her life.. YOU KILLED HER PIYA... YOU KILLED HER"

Piya felt her mouth went dry, her head wad dizzy. she killed her mother.she started to repeat the same thing again and again... "I killed my mother...I killed my mother..."

Now you will pay the price. You will get the punishment for killing my sister by being here until I make you to sign the papers after they are ready. He hit her hard with a bronze flower vase nearby and Piya fell on the ground... flat.

After almost an hour, Piya gained conscious. She could fill throbbing pain in her entire body and everything she remembers is she killed her mother. But again, visions of Prabeen mamaji hitting a girl came into her mind. The medicine was working on full form. Her half conscious mind told her to ran away and with great difficulty she jumped outside the outhouse from the open window and started running...

It was midnight and Abhay was unable to sleep. He was standing infront of his window with a glass of bourbon and sipping from it when he heard the shriek and ran, he knew from where it's coming from. Aryan reached minute after Abhay when they saw the unconscious girl was fidgeting in the bed like a fish out of water, she was still cataleptic but shouting in sleep, "I didn't kill mamma.. never...never.." Abhay started messaging her palms and tried to calm her down by holding her and he realized her entire body was burning in fever. "She has high fever, what do we do?"

Aryan: "you do something!!"

Abhay (irritated): I can heal...I can't cure fever..do I look like a doctor to you?"

Aryan (helpless): "We won't get any doctor at this hour and we live far from the city. but your body is cold, her body temperature is hot now..you can help her..you now how.."

Abhay: "im not doing that."

Aryan (trying to convince him): Just hug her.. your cold body would help decreasing her body temperature. If you wanna save her..do it.."

Abhay hesitated for a moment and looked at the girl, she looked like the most helpless, innocent thing in the world right now. No doubt she's going through immense emotional turmoil and he wanted to know what the reason for this disastrous state was. He looked at Aryan, "Would you be able to charm her mind once she was healed?"

Aryan, "yes"

Abhay: "alright I will do it but you get out of the room!!!"
