I'm back with my second update!!
Forgive me if I'm slow because I AM a human being and having lots and lots of busy days and things to do right?!😊 Please hope you understand!! here we goo!!😉:
Left off:
"Ji, mein hoon Khushi Kumari Gupta.", she said with a smile on her face, but with some type of feeling in her stomach and heart.
The Boss: (thinking) "Uski awaaz pechaani se lag rahi hai..."
He turned around really fast, and to his surprise saw...
(same time)
K: "AAP?!"
Boss: "TUM?!"

B (Boss): "Tum?... T..Tum... kaun ho?" Translation: Who are you?
K: "(thinking) Chodiye... humhe bas kaam peh dyaan dehna padega!😛 Translation: leave it... I should just concentrate on work!
Ji, mein hoon Khushi Kumari Gupta!", she said smiling😊." Trans: I'm Khushi Kumari gupta!
B: "Meine tumhe kayi dekha hai...", he said with suspense in him and a confused look on his face. Trans: I've seen you somewhere...
K: Looked at him confusingly.
"Haan.. aap bhi bodh pechaane se lag rahe ho! Lekin chodiye na! Hum apna kaam pe dyaan rakna chahte hai!😃 Ab aap
humaara cabin dekha di jiye, aur humaara kaam bhi!" trans: Yes.. you look a little familiar too! But leave it! I'm here to focus on
my work! Now can you please show me my cabin and my work!
B: Just shook his head.
"Fine. You have something very easy to do. Yeh sab kagaaz photcopy kardo. T: Photocopy these papers.
He walked up to her and handed her the paper.
Tum yeh sab jaldi seh karo aur phir mera office mein bhejna." T: Finsih them quickly and send them to my office.
K: "Sirf itna hi kaam SIR?!!!" her mouthed opened wide. T: Only this much work?!
B: "Tum mujhe ASR kehke bulaao... not SIR." T: call me ASR... not SIR
K: "ASR?...", asked confusingly.
B: "Haan. ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA."
Khushi's mouth opened wide as well as her eyes, while the name ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA echoed in her ears.
K: "Arnav Singh Raizada?... aap?"
ASR: "WHAT?!"
Khushi just jumped up as she got scared from Arnav's voice. She got scared.
K: "Ji, kuch nahi. Hum aate hai kagaaz lehke." T: Nothing. I'll come with the papers.
Arnav: "Aisa kyun lagta hai ki woh mera koi apna hai..." T: Why does it seem like she's someone familiar to me.
She quickly ran out of the office... when she noticed a figure who was a female that had two "female bodyguards" by her side.
The bodyguards where filing her nails, blow drying her hair, doing her nail polish etc.
Khushi stared at her from head-to-toe.
K: (thinking) "Yeh ladki kya pehen raki hai?" T: What's this girl wearing?
That ladki also stared at her, looking at what in the WORLD she was wearing.
From head-to-toe, she saw this:

That ladki was so shocked!!! Her two bodyguards were whispering to each other about Khushi's clothes. "What rags!" the three of them said.
Khushi noticed the three of them staring at her... then stared at her clothes...
K: (thinking)"Mere kapde mein galat kya hai", with a sad look on her face. She then looked down scared. T: What's wrong with my clothes?
Arnav was watching "that ladki" and her bodyguards beside her whispering about Khushi and her clothes.
Ladki: "Hey chamkeeli!! Tumara naam kya hai?" T: What's your name?
Her bodyguards started laughing.
Arnav was clenching his fists.
Khushi's face shot up to that name that she called her with.
K: "Ji, mera naam Khushi Kumari Gupta hai. Mein yaha nayi aayi hoon aaj." T: I'm new here.
L: "JI?! Look girls, another BOOKWORM"
Khushi felt so embarassed as everyone was watching them four and listening to what they were calling her.
She felt something unusual in her stomach. She felt tears coming in her eyes.
(thinking) "Devi Maiya, humhe nahi pata tha ki sab log yaha itne batameez honge, aur head boss bhi." T: , I didn't know that everyone here would be so mean, and even the head boss is.
From thinking this, tears starting rolling down her eyes. She quickly started wiping them and noticed that a cabin behind them had the name, "Khushi Kumari Gupta" written on it. She knew that was her cabin so she started to run towards it when one of that ladki's bodyguards purposely dropped some of the nail polish on the floor which caused Khushi to slip and fall backwards. Before she even hit the ground, someone came from behind her and caught her in their arms. She felt serious pain in her legs and back.
She got up and turned around to see... her boss, ASR, holding her.
They had an eye-lock. That ladki came to see this and felt jealousy occuring in her with a hint of anger.
A: "LAVANYA!!!!!!!", Arnav shouted while still looking at Khushi's halat.
Khushi now knew that, that ladki's name was not that ladki, but Lavanya.
L: "Yes ASR!!" She came running.
Arnav then let go of Khushi's arm and turned around to Lavanya.
A: "Tum new workers ko aise treat karte ho?!!!!", he said with so much anger in his voice that made Lavanya jump a bit.
"Aur tum dono!!!! SIM AND PAM!!! Tum dono ki itni himmat!!!!!!" T: D you treat new workers like this?!!!! And you two!!!!...
Now Khushi knew that it wasn't "female bodyguards", it was Sim and Pam.
Khushi couldn't help stop crying. Her tears were just flowing out non-stop!
A: In a rude tone said, "Agar kissi ne bhi Khushi ko - " T: If ANYONE does ANYTHING to Khushi -
Everybody looked at him quietly.
A: "Mera matlab hai kissi ko bhi - including Khushi - ko tang kiya, then they can forget about their job here!!" T: I mean... if anyone does anything to someone - including Khushi -...
Arnav looked like this:
Arnav was looking all serious.
A: "Now GOOO!!!!!!! Tum sab ka apna, apna kaam hai!!!", he said still with that serious face on. T: Go and do your work!!!
Everyone went on to their own work.
Lavanya was thinking how in the world ASR could speak to her like that, for that chamkeeli ladki.
L: "AHHH!!! Lets go girls!!!", she said while putting on a tantrum.
Sim and Pam: "La chill... cool down..."
Lavanya just stomped and then walked away to her cabin.
Khushi stopped crying and just stared at Arnav. The tears were still left on her face. She quickly wiped them off.
A: "T...Tum, Tum teek ho?" T: Are... are you okay?
Khushi looked up at Arnav. She nodded, then looked down.
A: "Jo bhi Lavanya, Sim aur Pam tumhe kehte hai, tum unki baat mat suno." T: Whatever Lavanya, Sim and Pam say to ignore it.
She nodded again.
A: "When you're finished photocopying, bring them to my cabin."
... Arnav turned around and starting walking towards the stairs to go to his office when Khushi said,
"Humhe maaf kijiye. Humaari wajha se aapko itni takleef sehna pada tha. Aur, humhe bachaane ki liye shukriya."
T: Please forgive me. because of me you went through so much trouble. And, thank you for saving me.
Arnav turned around after she finished.
Khushi picked up the papers and started to walk towards the photocopying machine.
Arnav thinking, "Tum hum sab se kitni alag ho... pata nahi kyun..." T: You are so different than everyone.. I don't know why...
"No wait! Mujhe aacha kyun lag raha hai jab ussne mujhe thank you kaha? Mujhe tho kissi ki parwa hi nahi hota hai."
T:...! Why do I feel good when she said thank you to me? I never care about anything.
She started photocopying.
Arnav shook his head and headed up to his cabin.
*minutes later*
Khushi finished photocopying and then headed up to ASR's cabin.
K: "Ji Sir -"
Arnav looked up at her.
K: "Ummm..uh.. mera matlab hai... A...ASR..."
A: "Hmmm", he groaned.
K: "Humne sab kuch photocopy kiya hai. Yeh li jiye." T: I photocopyed everything here.
She handed the papers to ASR.
He took a look at the papers.
A: "Okay good. Now go."
K: "Ji? Matlab?"
A: "Tum ghar ja sakti ho. The day is over, tum kal 8:00 a jahna. Agar tum nahi aayi, toh - ... samjhi?"
K: "Ji..."
Khushi left from the office, and so did Arnav.
*reached home*
When Khushii reached her home, her Jiji opened the door.
P: "Khushi!!!"
She gave her a big hug!! Khushi hugged her back.
"Andar chalo..."
Khushi came inside the house.
P: "Tumara din kaise tha Khushi?
Khushi gave a blank stare.
Buaji: "Kya hua?"
After a few thoughts Khushi said, "Ji, kuch nahi! Hum bilkul teek hai! Hum bas tode se tak gaye hai... humhe sona hai."
She left the room, and went into her bedroom.
___Bedroom___
K: "Woh, ASR itna pechaana se lagta hai. Meine unko kaha se dekha?..."
Payal walked in...
P:"Kaun "ASR" Khushi?"
Khushi quickly jumped out her bed. She had gotten frightened.
K: "Jiji, woh humaara Boss hai."
P: "Aacha?... Woh... waha aacha hai Khushi? Tum itni padeshaan lag rahe ho jaise kissi ne tumaara buda kiya tha waha.
K: "Nahi... waha aacha nahi hai. Lekin... woh office ek boot bangala jaise lagta hai Jiji!!! Mein tujhse joot nahi ke sakti... par..."
P: "Par kya?..."
Khushi walked up to her window sill and started to narrate the story about what had happened at the office to her. The way Lavanya and her bodyguards were making fun of her clothing, and the way she spoke. The way ASR was speaking to her, and then the way he caught her in his arms.
P: "Kya?!! Khushi, mein yeh tumaare balai ki liye ke rahi hoon. Tum waha phir nahi jaogi. Mein tumaara kaam ki liye kahi aur
intezaam karungi, par tum waha uss office mein kabhi nahi jaogi!!!"
K: "Nahi Jiji. Waha sab log mujhe darpok jaise pukaarenge. Aur hum woh nahi hai. Pata hai Jiji ki hum kya hai?
... Hum lakhon mein ek hai! Jo bhi log mujhe pukaarenge, humhe usse KOI parvaah nahi hai..."
P: "Par Khushi hum tumaare - "
K: "Humhe pata hai! Humaare balai ki liye na? Lekin hum uss office mein KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA jaise rehenge."

THE END!!! *NOTE* A fellow IPKKNDian had asked me to write everything in English rather than Hindi, and I had said that I would
put translations in the updates... but as you all see, I've only put them in the beginning of the update, because it was really hard for me and it takes too long. Please forgive me everyone including that member. I tried, but I'm busy with other things and it really kills my fingers, so forgive me.

Tomorrow is Friendship Day!
Khushi's Jiji, Payal has agreed for her to go to office as well as her bua ji has too.
Suddenly, Khushi gets a phone call at home right before she leaves to go to office.
She gets a call from a young man a few years older than her. He tells her that he wants to see her at 12:00 sharp.
The family gets frightened.
He wants Khushi to come to a park alone to meet him.
He hangs up the phone.
Khushi and her family take this call to be a blackmail scheme.
The family gets even more frightened.
What will Khushi do?
Will she go to office and her ask her SARKARI BOSS for a day off at office, or ignore the call and face the "consequences"?
