It was the gala day when Arnav and Khusi were going to get married. All were very busy in arranging the grand event. Arnav was in Aakash's room [as his room was being decorated for his Suhag Raat] and was thinking about Khusi all day long. His mind was also thinking about the pressure of the duties and responsibilities towards a pregnant lady. At that time Nani entered into the room to say something but found him to be lost in his own thoughts.
Nani: Beta what happened with you? You seem to be a little disturbed and tensed?
Arnav: Nothing Nani. Actually I was just thinking about how would I maintain my duty towards Khusi? I'm really not known to the facts of pregnancy. I am being scared that…
Nani stopped him and put her hand on his back to convince him for not to worry.
Nani: Why are you being so scared? I'm here with you so don't worry. I'll tell you what to do and how to do. Okay? Now please get ready. Otherwise don't blame me for being late.
Arnav hugged Nani.
Arnav: Oh, Nani. I don't know what I would do if you would not stay with me. Thanks.
Nani: Oh, as now you are getting married so you have started to say me "Thanks"?
Arnav: Nani, please not now. I need to get ready.
Nani: Really? I think you can't control yourself from seeing her in the wedding dress.
Nani smirked.
Arnav: Nani I'm really getting late now.
Nani: Okay baba I'm going. But here's your dress.
Arnav: All right.
Nani went from the room. He started to get ready for his dream girl. He wore a black Sherwani with blue border, his all-time favorite Rolex watch and his engagement ring. He brushed his hair a little and in only 10 minutes he became ready.
He went out from the room and started to find out the place where Khusi was being ready. He asked Nani but Nani tried to play a prank with her dear grandson.
Nani: Actually beta Khusi is in her own house.
Arnav: What? I can't believe it. She said to me last night that she would come here for being ready and now she is in her house? Why?
Nani:[tried to stop her laughter] Umm, I think may be she want to surprise you with her look.
Arnav: Who said her to do so? She is always beautiful for me. I'm already impressed and obsessed with her. She needs not work for this.
He became restless to see Khusi. Nani tried to make him a little more on edge. She said him to help her in some work for time pass. Though Arnav wasn't ready but however he agreed.
Nani then told him to go to his room for checking out all decorations. He didn't want but Nani forced him to do.
Arnav with a heavy mind slowly opened the door of his room and became surprised. He saw that Khusi was being ready in the room. She wore a saree with pink and blue combination. Her hairs were open and she didn't wear a lot of ornaments as the doctor said her not to wear a lot of heavy saree or ornaments.
Arnav was amazed seeing her beauty in her simplicity. Nani stealthily came and stood by Arnav and placed her hand on his shoulder.
Arnav and Nani came out of the room.
Arnav: Nani why didn't you tell me that she's here?
Nani: I told you that she was in her own house. So don't you think that it's her house?
Arnav: Oh, god. I'm so silly. I couldn't understand it.
Nani: It's okay. Now come down for the wedding ceremony with her soon.
Arnav got back to his room to flirt with Khusi. He entered again without any sound. Payal was in the room with Khusi. Seeing Arnav entering she went out after wishing both.
Khusi: How am I looking today?
Arnav: Very bad.
Khusi: What?
Arnav: What to do? I'm just telling what the truth is.
Khusi showed fake anger to him.
Khusi: Then don't marry the ugly duckling please.
Arnav:[holding her hand] Oh no. I was just joking baby. Don't take it seriously.
Khusi: Who said I was serious?
Both laughed out.
Arnav: Khusi you are looking gorgeous today.
Khusi: Thanks. And your look is also so-so.
Arnav: So can we go now?
Khusi: Surely.
Both holding each other's hand came down. The marriage register said them to sign on the papers. They did and exchanged their garlands.
Everyone wished them heartily for a happy married life.
At night in Arnav's room:
The room was decorated with flowers and candles. A sweet perfume of the room freshener was increasing the illusive. Shades and lights were playing hide and seek in the room. Arnav however wanted to get naughty but he couldn't.
He held Khusi in his arms and took his lips to her ears.
Arnav: I know that I can't do anything now. But I'm not going to give you any chance after the baby will come in the world. Do you understand?
Khusi blushed and her cheeks went reddish. She tried to say a lot of things but couldn't.
Arnav: Now I think we should sleep. So may we..
Khusi agreed.
Both changed their dresses and went to sleep.
At midnight:
Khusi got up from the bed. She wanted to vomit. So she did and after she came back from the washroom she found that Arnav had woken up.
Arnav:[being tensed] What happened with you Khusi? Are you feeling bad?
Khusi: No. I'm good. Actually I vomited sometimes ago.
Arnav: Should I call the doctor.
Khusi: No baba, I'm absolutely fine and it happens with pregnant ladies. I need to vomit at least once in a day now.
Arnav was shocked listening to her.
Arnav: What? You need to vomit at least one time in a day? I'm promising you that I don't want another child from you. One is enough for us.
Khusi broke into laughter.
Khusi: It is a part of our life Arnav. There are some more problems in one woman's life. If I'll start to tell you then I'm sure that you are going to faint at once.
Arnav: Khusi please stop pulling my leg. As I'm not aware of it then you can't make fun on me. And I'll search and read about all of them tomorrow surely.
Khusi: So to whom will you ask about them?
Arnav: Nani and Payal of course.
Khusi again burst in amusement.
Khusi: You are going to discuss about them with Nani and Payal di? Are you mad?
Arnav: Yes sweetheart. I'm mad for you.
Khusi stopped laughing. She rubbed her hand on his face once and told him to sleep.
Arnav kissed on her forehead and slept.
At about 4 A.M.:
Khusi: Arnav, please wake up.
Arnav:[in sleepy voice] Why are you calling me in so early morning?
Khusi: Umm, actually, actually I want to eat chocolate ice-cream. Can you please give me one?
Arnav was shocked.
Arnav: What? Chocolate ice-cream at 4 A.M.? It's impossible Khusi.
Khusi: Please Arnav try to understand. I need to eat.
Arnav:[woke up properly] Khusi please you try to understand. Look at the watch and see what the time is.
Khusi: please.
Arnav: Okay. You stay here. Let me check if there's any ice cream in the fridge.
Khusi: Not anything else. I want a chocolate ice=cream only.
Arnav: Okay, okay let me check.
In the kitchen Arnav was finding ice cream and finally it was his good luck that he got one. He was about to come out of the kitchen when he dashed with Nani.
Nani: What are you finding here? I've never seen you in the kitchen before.
Arnav: Actually Nani, Khusi was behaving like mad and wanted to eat chocolate ice-cream at once. So I came here to find if there's anything.
Nani: Oh, but beta that's not madness. Actually in pregnancy such mood swings are quite common.
Arnav: Oh now I understand. That's why she was forcing me. Okay now let me go. Otherwise she must demand something else. And it may be possible that the thing is not here. So I have to go out at once.
He smiled and went to his room. There she gave it to Khusi and asked if she needed something else.
Khusi: No, I don't want anything else now. You may sleep.
Arnav: And you?
Khusi: Oh, ho. I need to finish it na.
She grinned. Only 25 days were left from her delivery.
