Karann and Geet reached Delhi and on their way lost one of Geet's clothes bags. Geet was really upset as the experience of the city did not start too well. *Babaji khair karna muje toh darr lagne laga hain..abi se hi garbar hone lagi hain..Babaji mere liya acha sochna tee hain?* She was praying in her heart.
They took a taxi to the Khurana Mansion. It was a castle like place..massive. It took Geet's breath away. "Baba itna bara ghar Uncle ji ka?"
"Beta maine bataya tah na mera dost Singhania shehr main ja kar bahut taraki ki hain..chalo andar chale". As soon as they entered two butlers Raam laal and Shaam laal greeted them and took their luggage. Karan was very magnanimous and gave them a tip. "Kaha hain sab ke sab?"
"Hum yaha hain bhai saab"...Kumkum came down the stairs wearing a designer sari. She was very stylish and yet traditional. She met Karan and hugged and kissed Geet. "Bhai saab aapki Geet bilkul Savitri ki tarah hain na kitni pyari". Geet shyly smiled.
"Bhabi kaha hain mera dost aur Maan?"
"Ye toh office main hain aur Maan America se kal aa raha hain...inno ne zid karke parne keliye beja tah",
"Geet tume pata hain Maan ka naam maine rakha tah".
"Brother it is all your prayers that worked otherwise my world was empty".
"No no no this is all God's ways not mine..Anyway how is he?"
"Maan..he is like his name proud...hard from the outside and soft from the inside..but you will not meet him before you go".
"Don't worry I will stay a week or two when I come back and will spend time with him ok?".
Singhania came with his entourage of his bodyguards and his friend Prem Chopra, Sumaira and John. Kishen instantly came and hugged him but Singhania looked embarrassed. He awkwardly shook his hand. "Mr Chopra this is Karan my childhood friend". The state of Karan's clothes told all that he was a middle class man. "Dekho main aaj raat ko dubai jar aha hoon aur apni Geet tumare paas rahe git eek hain".
"No she more than welcome...Geet meri beti jaisi hain...aur Kumkum ko bi company mil jai gi". Mr Singhania left for some important meeting and Karan left for dubai. Geet tearfully bid her father goodbye.
"Mummyji papaji gaye? Shukar hain shukar hain...hello mera naam hain Adi". Adi introduced himself to Geet.
"Beta Geet ko gahr dekhna aur haan Geet ka kamra jo maine bataya tah waha uss ka samaan le jana".
"Teek hain mummy ji..chale Geet ji aapko ghar aur logo se milate hain..look this is Nakul, Raam Laal and Shaam laal and our watch man..all of these are our loyal workers..anyway workers why are you not working?"
"She is about to come" they all chorused.
"Wooo???!!" stammered Adi.
"Excuse me sir, are you not going to introduce me?" said a shy Pinky.
"Yes..she is Pinky our office staff..good for nothing!..come on Geet ji these people are useless".
The clock had struck 11pm and Mr Singhania and yet not arrived. "Aunty its so late and uncle not here yet?" asked Geet.
"Beti don't ask he is very busy in making a new cabin for his arrogant son...he likes everything perfect for him. He bought him a new racing car and both tomorrow will have a race back home. This father and son are like friends. They love to out do each other. You will see tomorrow the style in which he will enter".
