Summary
LIfe can be really confusing, frustrating, empty, lonely..when a person does not feel grounded...
Same with Geet...she came from a traditional family where her parents r extremely strict...
She has been told to live her life in a certain way...not having too much freedom...all the decision are taken by elders in the family...
In order for her to do something for herself...she needed to lie...to do simple things...like hanging out with friends or going dancing...
She felt restricted and wanted to be free...
On Chat she found Maan...and to run away from all her other problems her brain/heart thought of him as a solution away from everything...she tries to dream and believe that he is the one for him without thinking of any consenqueses.
Just from his picture she has fantasized all about him...which shows that she is quite impulsive in her decisions
She goes to India to see him and realizes that he is so different than her and her lifestyle...
She loves the time she spend with him but is not able to adjust...because she has not seen life outside her culture n family views n values...she is so confused ...and does not know wat to do..
She goes away to Dehli and after few months bumps into Dev and at first she thinks he is Maan but later on realizes he is different than the Maan that she met in Shimla...
Here on the other hand, Dev is something that she always wanted ...always dreamed about, pictured in her mind...everything...
But she had lost her heart in Shimla...and is not able to connect to him in a way that she was able to connect with Maan. She keeps getting confused...she keeps comparing them...she wishes Maan was Dev...but alas not everything is possible in life...
Part 28:
Her parents arrive in India...Pinky and Meera tell them about Geet and her running away to see a guy n how Dev proposed to her...
THey are thinking of getting Geet married and yet Geet is not able to SPEAK UP or STAND UP for herself...
All she keeps on saying is she is not ready for marriage and why is everyone behind her back...
A day passes and Geet's mom already call the Khuranas...
Geet tries to stop but it seems like her voice, her feelings, her likeness, etc do not hold any power...
She is not taken seriously...i understand she is confused...i mean who would not be...if u have had no chance in life to make major decisions...do what ur heart desired...if u were brought up under strict rules...
Even Dev, does not seem to take her "I need time seriously'.
Is it because he is really one and the same...
R Maan n Dev the same...
The parents r now here...because they know about Maan...if they r both same...maybe Maan got in touch with them and now the Khuranas are at the door step...
They are all wanting the good for Geet so they have taken up the decision becuase she is taking a long time...
Maan maybe juss wanted to test her and see if she fell for the RICH n HANDSOME twin brother...
But Maan now sees that she will not go forward with Dev, cus her heart is stuck in Maan...and Maan now knows that she loves him...and him only...
that is why he took the step and called parents...n now all will surprise her...by saying that Maan is Dev!!!
