As the professor was writing something on the board she quickly comes in and breathes a sigh of relief, but unfortunately too soon.
Professor: Geet!
Hearing her name, Geet almost fell out of her chair thinking she got caught. "Mein toh margayi!" she whispered.
Professor: Can you give me the answer to this math problem on the board?
Geet was thrilled she didn't get caught, but it was short lived because she had no idea what the answer was, as she didn't even read the problem let alone solve it.
Geet starts to stutter, " haan voh . . . uhhh . . . its . . ."
"pisttt pissttt " and then a note falls on her desk.
She checks it quickly without the professor seeing and loudly says, " 26".
The professor grumpily blurts out, " Correct". Maybe he needed to get his eyes checked.
Geet turns around and mouths out a " Thank you" to Dev, her friend. He was always there to help her out in any situation. Dev just gives her a "wink" back in reply. Geet just smiles and turns around.
After class was finally over Geet almost jumps on Dev and gives him a kiss on the cheek. She had no idea what kind of effect it had on him. " Thank you thank you thank you for saving me!".
"Okay your welcome" he chuckled while being a little flushed at the same time.
Pinky, Meera, Vicky, and Adi just laughed at Geet. They were her group of friends who she loved dearly.
Geet asks like she is angry, " Heyyy what's so funny!"
Meera: Calm down yaar we are laughing at your condition. Why did you come so late? oh wait why am I asking when Miss Beauty Queen was too busy having fun last night that she didn't even wake up to her alarm clock am I right?
Geet: Oyee meera don't even go their girl. You were also enjoying yourself too.
Vicky: She is right. You were having a lot of fun dancing with those guys.
Meera punches Vicky on the shoulder and says, " Just shut up".
Vicky mouths a "ouch" and holds his shoulder. Dev just laughs at him.
Meera: Yeah but at least I got to class on time.
Pinky interferes between these two girls before it became a cat fat.
Pinky: If you guys keep on fighting I will definitely faint from starvation. Let's go get something to eat. Please you can continue your fight later.
Adi: Guys lets go before these three girls or else they will for sure finish all the food that is in the cafeteria.
All three guys make a dash for it. Leaving Geet, Meera, and Pinky all alone.
Meera an Pinky also make a dash for it, but when they see Geet was not following them they stopped and came back to her.
Meera: Why are you not coming?
Geet: What is the rush. Besides I know Dev is going to buy me lunch since they played this game with us.
Pinky: ohhh so that's what it is!
Meera: Why do you play with his poor feelings? Don't flirt with him when you know he has feelings for you.
Pinky: You know you can be cruel sometimes.
To pinky maybe what she said seemed like a joke, but to geet she knew how much truth was behind it.
" Guys when was I even flirting?" she tries to play along now.
Meera: What was the need to kiss him on the cheek. He must still be dazed and in trance because of that.
Geet: Oh guys just shut up. I love him, but only as a friend.
Geet to herself: Even if I wish I could not be worthy for him.
Pinky: Yaar you date so many guys, but have you ever fell in love with them?
Geet: Me and love? You must be kidding Pinky. Love is only in fantasies and stories.
Meera: So you are saying you don't believe in love.
Geet: I don't know guys. Never thought about "pyaar", "mohabbat" . . .vagera vagera very much.
"That is because you have never truly fell in love. And I don't blame you its hard to tell when you are with a different boy like every week" pinky says a little sarcastically.
Geet: Guys my mood is already horrible since morning can we talk about this pyaar issue some other time. Let's go get something to eat.
When they reach the cafeteria they see the guys and go sit with them. Dev gives Geet's lunch and she replies, " Aww Dev thank you! You are so sweet".
Meera: Yeah Vicky learn from your brother a little. He is such a gentleman unlike you.
Vicky: Hold your horses.
Vicky than gives Meera her lunch and then Adi gives Pinky's lunch.
Adi: Now don't take this the wrong way we only did this because Dev made us.
Pinky: Acha is that so?
She then goes and grabs the cake that was on his plate and starts to eat it.
Pinky: I am eating your cake only because Dev gave me the signal to do so.
Everybody starts to laugh. Adi gives an evil look to Dev, who just nodes and gives him a "no I didn't look".
Vicky: hey Geet! You never said why you came late?
Geet: OMG don't even ask.
I was going to the coffee shop when a black mercedez Benz stops right in front of me splashing muddy water all over me.
Adi does his signature laugh.
Everyone gives him a look and he quiets down and says, " sorry".
Geet: Anyways as I was saying I started to knock on the car window, but then I got no response. The idiot was trying to ignore me and the situation. So I got mad and I went and got my pencil thin high heel and smashed one of his headlights.
All of a sudden Meera starts to cough as she was eating her food.
Meera: YOU DID WHAT!
Geet: You heard me right and he deserved it. First he messes up my clothes and then ignores me.
Anyways I am so not done yet with my story. Then this guy okay I will admit it. . . This really Hot and sexy hunk of a guy in a black business suit, which made his muscles look all the more sexier, comes out of the car and bumps into me and I fall into his arms.
Now Dev coughs, as he was about to swallow his food when he heard what geet just said.
Vicky starts to whistle.
Vicky: I don't understand why you would be in a mad mood because it sounds like next you are going to tell us you made out with him.
Adi starts to do his signature laugh again.
Geet: oh please! He may be hot, but let me tell you that that is the last time he will ever get that close to me.
Pinky: oyee hoyyyeee it sounds like you want to meet him again?
Geet: Would you please let me finish my story!
Everybody falls quiet.
Geet: As I was saying he catches me in his arms and we were like that for god knows how long. He just kept on staring. I had to push him away and stand up myself. I was also very mad at the moment so I told him "" What are you staring at . . . how you messed up my clothes?"
You know how I can be sometimes.
Everybody at once said, " Sometimes?"
She gives them an evil glare.
Everybody at once said, " Sorry. Continue".
So then he said" I am staring at you so I could get a good glimpse of you and report every feature of your face to the police for breaking my headlight". Can you believe the guts of this guy! Boy was I just boiling in anger when he said that.
So then I said" Acha? Let me know something this is a very expensive car you have hear so you must have insurance as well right?
He said:" Yeah I do but what does that have anything to do with this?"
Then I said: " I will show you". and I go smash the other headlight.
Before anybody could comment or laugh at her " Don't say a thing I am not done yet".
So then he screams" Heyyy!"
" Do you know who you are messing with? I am MSK! You smashed Maan Singh Khurana's headlights".
Now both Dev and Vicky who were drinking soda spitted all that out.
"HE WAS WHO" they both screamed.
Geet: Some MSK person . . .apparently Maan Singh Khurana.
Meera: why do you guys look so shocked?
Vicky: Uhhh . . . woh . . . woh
Dev: It is just that he is a very big business tycoon with a huge ego. He was right when he said you have no idea who you are messing with Geet.
He than slowly moves his head for a no, which Vicky only saw. Vicky was a little confused for why Dev wanted to hide the fact that Maan was their older brother.
" And you know he has millions of girls ready to throw themselves at him and you showed him attitude and broke his headlights" Vicky said playing along.
" oh please" geet scoffed off, but she had to admit to herself she was a little more than intrigued to find out more about this guy.
