OS -Best thing I never had-

As she thought of what he had done to her, a tear formed in her eye. But no she was not going to shed any tears for him. He just didn't deserve her tears

It all seemed like a dream to her now. All those false hopes that he had made her believe, about them being together forever and always loving each other were just that – false hopes.

She had thought that he had loved her, just as deeply as she had loved him. But guess she was wrong. Her love wasn't enough for him that he had to go looking for it to someone else.

His other girlfriend (ria) had come to her seeking clearance about whether they were a couple. Ria had heard about it from someone that he and her were dating and she had come to confront her about it. Thus she came to know about it. A few hours before that she was weaving dreams about their future together. She had been soo happy. Her life had been just about perfect till she had come to know about this truth. And just like that, in a fragment of a second, all her dreams had been shattered—like a castle made of a deck of cards is blown away by the winds.

As she thought of the time she had spent with him, all she could think about now was his betrayal. Even when she and ria had gone to confront him about it, all he had done was stand like a statue and keep shut. After all she did for him, after all those years they were together, the least she deserved was truth. Guess he wasn't man enough to accept his mistakes.

He said it was all a mistake. A big misunderstanding. He cooked up a story and tried to feed it to her. Did he really think she was so dumb that she would believe him again after all he had done to her. He said that he was as hurt as she was. And did he expect her to sympathise with him? To forgive him for his mistakes?

He said he wanted one more chance to undo his mistakes. Said he could make things alright. Just like the way they were before ria came into their life. He said he wanted her back. That he still loved her. But was it so easy to correct those mistakes? To expect everything to be the way it was before that storm came into their life and disrupted everything?

And now if he expected that she would go back to him, then he had to be a fool. Because she was not going to make the same mistake twice by trusting him again. She had no strength left in her to get her heart broken by the same person twice. So goodbye it was for them.
