Part 9
NOTE: I can't remember if I said guesthouse or hotel in last update.. so just go with the flow
The following morning Geet awoke with birds chirping overhead. She rubbed her eyes and opened them expecting to be in her bedroom. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was in a tent and was alone. She remembered what happened last night and how she reached here. She looked left and right and saw Maan was no where to be seen. She got worried and frantically stood up. She walked out of the tent and looked for Maan.
'Maan' She called out. She looked to her left and then to her right and could not see him. Geet started to hug herself feeling scared. No he hasn't left me all alone. He would never do that. He is a nice person. Geet was starting to get scared and tried to reassure herself. Geet heard some noise and walked back only to bump into Maan and fall on the floor.
'owww' She moaned rubbing her knee. She looked up and saw Maan. She smiled got up and hugged him tight.
'I knew It you would never leave me alone' She said in relief. Maan who had just gone to pick up some firewood to heat some water and food did not want to wake Geet up. She looked as pure as an angel sleeping. He left quietly. As Geet hugged him Maan felt a sense of inner peace and happiness. He was shocked at the sudden hug but slowly picked his hands up to hug her when Geet realised what she was doing and came out of the hug. She had a slight blush on her cheeks which did not go unnoticed by Maan. She looked down.
'woh main daar gayi ti. Aap mujhe' Geet started to explain herself when Maan put his finger on her lips.
'shhh' Geet looked up at him with her hazel eyes and they had a eye lock.

He then looked at her and said 'main jaanta ho. Main woh aag ke liye' Maan began to explain. Geet saw the sticks and understood. He put the fire on and Geet sat infront as Maan put water to boil and made tea. Geet just looked at him.

He gave the tea to Geet. Geet was just staring at him. She was wondering why her heartbeat was so loud. She knew she wasn't allowed to love Maan or have feelings for him. But why was she? She noticed him pack all the things away and smiled. She then looked at her hand and saw a wound there. She wondered how it got there. Maan looked at her concentrating on it and realised that she didn't know or remember anything she did last night.
umarein lagi kehate huve, do labj the ik baat thiwoh ik din sau saal ka, sau saal ki woh raat thikaisa lage jo chup chaap dono, ho pal pal mein puri sadiyaan bitaayein
They both packed up the tent together and smiled as they got into his jeep. Geet's phone finally worked and she called Nupur
'Nupur' She said.
'Geet kaha ho tum? Kabse phone karni ki koshish'
''Nupur main teek ho. Main.. wo..' Geet stumbled didn't know what to call Maan.
Maan looked at her. Geet smiled and said
'Main apne ek khaas dost ke pass ho.' Maan smiled at her. They both looked at eachother.
'dost kaisa dost?' inquired Nupur
.'Mere bohot aacha dost. Jise maine galat samja ta.' Geet smiled. Maan looked at her and was realising that she was talking to him rather than about him
.'Tik hai Geet. Is baarey main baadh main baat kartey hai. Lekin to abhi guesthouse aaja. Highway par hai. Sunshine Guesthouse' Nupur said.Geet put the phone down.
Maan looked at her
.'matlab ab hum dost hai' He asked.
'ha.. kyun ham nahi hai?' asked Geet. Maan looked at her and her wound. He also looked at the wound he had dressed last night. Geet saw where he was looking and remembered last night Pati ke hesiyat se
'Ha aap meri dost ho. Bas' Geet replied. Her heart was playing havoc with her. Saying friend only felt so wrong. It felt like he was so much more to her. He was confusing her.
'Guest house agaya' Maan said after silence which lasted like eternity. Geet looked up and saw the guesthouse. She felt upset that her time with Maan was coming to an end. She looked at him as she got out the car.

'Thanks' Geet said
.'Geet dosti main no thanks and no sorry' Maan smiled at Geet as she waved bye to him as she walked towards the hotel. From the hotel window someone was watching attentively and was growing mad with anger. He scrunched up a piece of paper in his hand.
'yeh nahi hosakta' He growled.
'Geet.. yeh mera khel hai. Aur main yeh hone nahi donga' He then rang someone
'Hello ha woh aachuki hai'Tum taayar rehna' He put the phone down and then walked out the hotel without being seen.
'GEEET' Everyone who was in the hotel restaurant screamed when they saw her and ran to hug her
.'Geet kaise ho?'
'Geet tum kaha ti'
'Geet tum tik to ho na?' Everyone started asking her questions. Uday stood at the back looking guilty. Geet ignored everyone and went to Uday who was sitting there with his food untouched and looking at the ground.
Geet knelt down infront of him.
'Uday bhaiya' Geet softly spoke to him.
'Bhaiya mat kaho mujhe meri waja se tum akeli' Uday said.
'To kya hua Bhaiya.. main to tik ho na. Aapke dua se aapne meri raksha ki hai. To phir apna mood tik karo aur yeh lo jam toast khalo' Geet said pushing the whole toast into his mouth nearly choking him. Uday was shocked and then smiled whlist everyone laughed.
'Geet ki bachi' He said chasing her around the restaurant when Geet tripped over a chair and was about to fall. Everyone gasped. But she fell into Arnav's arms who had just entered.
'Geet tum tik to ho na' He asked. Geet opened her eyes which she had closed with fright and saw Arnav.
'oh my god Arnav. Thanks' She smiled getting up and hugging him.
'Ab sab kuch tik hai na. Chalo..party tu hamne miss kardi'to aaj raat hum yaha party karengi' Arnav said holding Geet's hand and bringing her to the gang.
'Ek minute Pari kaha hai?' asked Geet. Everyone looked around and asked for her.Mayank went to the reception to find out that she checked out and went home.
'Woh ghar jachuke hai'
EVENING
Geet was getting ready in her room when the door knocked. She opened the door and there stood Arnav. Geet blushed and looked down as he store at her and called her beautiful. 'Chale Princess' He asked.
'Off course my prince' She laughed.
Maan had reached home and smiled. Anjali had come to see him and smiled at him
.'kya hua chote tum kush kyun ho?' asked Anjali who made him sit on the sofa.
'Di'I'm in Love' He smiled
.'Kya.. Sameera?' asked Anjali confused.
'Nahi meri pyari di.. I Love Geet.. jab woh meri pass hotey hai.. Mujhe bohot aacha lagda hai. Meri dil zor zor se dharakta hai. Jab woh door chali jati hai phir dil bechain hota hai. Auski aakhon auski baatein auski sab kuch Mujhe bohot acha lagda hai. Geet ke bina main adora hu Geet ka dhookh mujhe dekha nahi jati. Jab wo hasti hai mujhe lagda hai ke saari duniya hasti hai. I Love her Di' Maan said.
Anjali smiled all she cared was for her brother's happiness
.'Chote.. Mujhe pata ta.. kyun ke Tum Sameera ke liye aisa kabhi mehsoos nahi kartey. Maine tumhari aakhon main woh ehsaas nahi dekhey Sameera ke liye jo maine Geet ke liyee dekha ta' Anjali said
.Maan hugged Anjali and told her everything that he had gone through with Geet.
Anjali then went home and looked in the mirror sitting on the bed whlist turning on and off the light in deep thought. Vikram came home and saw her.
'Jaaneman' He asked touching her. Anjali came out of her thoughts and looked at her.
'huh Aap aagayi. Main apke liye khana lagati ho' She said standing up when Vikram stopped her.
'Kya hua?'Anjali told him how Maan loves Geet. But there was one problem.
'Geet ka bhai Tej. Geet yeh manti hai hai ke Maan ke kiya accident. Aur Maan bi yehi manta hai. Aur ha Geet Maan ke liye kya ehsaas karti hai yeh koi nahi janta' Anjali said
'Anji..Hame dono ko waqt dena chahiye. Aur aap please hamara khana lekar aajao I'm so hungry' He moaned. Anjali smiled and went to get the food.
Vikram walked to the mirror and untied his tie and looked at it and said
'Kash Anjali tum sachai janti. Ke Maan aur Geet ki kahani koi aur likraha hai. Aur is chakarview main mein pasa hu. Aggar maine apne muh khola to wo log tumhe aur hamari beti ko jaan se maar denge. Woh log bohot dangerous hai. Aur I can't lose my family' Vikram said picking a picture of his family.
'I'm sorry Geet. Maan. Tum dono mujhe bhai mantey ho. Lekin main apna parivaar nahi kosahta'
