JOURNEY TOWARDS THE REALITY:-
CHAPTER 1:-
Auckland, 11:30 at night...
usually summer nights were not that cold in Auckland but after raining continuously the weather was getting chilly. The raining was not stopping completely at yet and there was still drizzling with the chilled wind blowing which cause shivering.
In the cold corridor of the hospital she was sitting on the bench adjacent to oncology ward and staring at her cell phone screen which was lying in her lap. She had worn just simple shalwar kameez and her dupatta hadn't enough to protect her from cold atmosphere moreover the air condition in this place made a situation even worse for her.
Her lips were trembling lightly and every time she clenched her jaws so tightly, so that no one saw her like that. She rubbed her both hands together to warm herself bit but she failed "
I think I should drink some coffee or tea to reduce this shivering." she thought and very next moment her mind refused that idea.
"I have to wait until the doctor came and told me about her condition". She thought and her gazed shifted from her cell phone to the glass door of hospital ward where her mother had admitted. She thought about her life when someone called out her name "
Nupur".
The voice of a man came and she heard his footstep stopped near her. She didn't pay any attention towards him .she was not in the mood to talking anyone right now except the doctor. When he slowly tapped at her shoulder. She looked up to him with anger and irritation. And her lips slightly patted muttering his name"
Mayank sharma".
"Hey! Is everything alright? What are u doing here at that late night? He asked her questions in one go; concern was evident in his voice. She was shocked little bit because of his behaviour she didn't remember, what was the last time when someone talked to her like that especially in such a gentle tone. She lost.
"Are you ok na?"He asked again and adjusts himself next to her bench. She was out of the trance and turned her head to his side to face him.
"Yeah I'm fine! Actually my ma had admitted there". She replied her voice was lack of every emotion and as cold as ice. He looked at her face for a moment in amazement."
Oh I'm sorry! Can I ask what happened to her?"What did doctor said about her condition. He asked again impatiently and she just staring at his face in disbelieve, his voice was so caring and gentle and Nupur bhushan was not fond of this behaviour at all ,the frown appeared on her forehead and she was about to answer his queries when a girl interrupted her.
"Hello nupur!what are you doing here? And what was going here? She scrutinized them with her eyes, her brows drawn together as she was investigating something. Nupur sighed and continue"
Hye mishal ! My ma was admitted there so -------".She was about to complete her sentence when again mishal cutted her off and said "
OK Mayank! Now we have to leave .Nupur see you in the college tomorrow bye. "She held Mayank arm and turned to leave. When Nupur simply said "
Bye guys." And looked at them. They looked perfect together as they walked to the exit door.
She closed her eyes firmly and her lips trembling again she rested her head on the back of the bench. Her migraine had not disturbed her for so long but it's a fab time to reappeared
