SS: 'Will he be okay?' Updated Part 5 Pg14 - Page 6

Here is PART 3! 😃 Its pretty short but the next part is long 😊

'Arre Arre kya hua? Yeh bichara admi ko koi madat karo.' Everyone was yelling and surrounding around this car. This poor man has gotten into an accident, wonder how his loved ones will fare. Streets in Delhi always get people into accidents! I heard the aloud thoughts of all the public gathered around, but an uneasy feeling pulled me towards the accident, my heart skipped a beat as I saw the familiar white car standing- damaged amongst the crowd. I approached further till I saw the victim of the accident- and my heart nearly stopped.

It was him. Arnav Singh Raizada. His chocolate eyes were shut, blood covered every inch of him, his arms covered with bruises, laying unconscious- was the worst memory I could ever have of him- worse than all the horrible times he has put me through. I wanted him to get up, to scream at me, I wanted that Arnav Singh Raizada back. My heart pounded to my chest and I tried to scream but nothing came out. Tears began pouring down my face as I realized I was wasting our time. I needed to save him. Now.

I ran through the crowd, shoving against people till I got on the floor and held his bleeding hand. 'Arnav! Get up! Open your eyes! Please! Please! Please Arnav.' I began pleading, rubbing his back, shaking him but all to no avail. 'Somebody please help me carry him to the hospital!' 'Memsaab you know this man?' Everyone enquired but no one seemed to help. I pulled someone closest to me and screamed 'YOU HAVE TO HELP ME TAKE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL. NOW.'

The man helped me carry him into a rickshaw and to the nearest hospital. As my heart continued to pound, I gripped on his arm tightly and constantly repeated 'Hai Devi Maiya, unki raksha karna.' My heartbeat was all I could hear and his face was all I could see. I felt his uneven breathing burning my skin and gave a faint encouraging smile to myself- as long as it burned me, he was alive.

Breaking in through the front doors, we barged in the hospital screaming for help. There are so many doctors here, somebody has to help him. I ran to every doctor I noticed but all they do was ask me to patiently wait and fill in the form. His life was in risk and I will fill a form! 'WHAT KIND OF A DOCTOR ARE YOU. FORGET THE FORM AND SAVE HIM. NOW!' The doctor stopped questioning me and checked his condition till he informed that his condition is getting worse by the minute; he needs to be operated immediately. 'THEN WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? GO SAVE HIM!' I didn't care who was around me, and who thought I was losing it. If anything happens, ill loose him forever.

They were operating him, he will be fine, and everything will be fine. I kept praying to my Devi Maiya, she will help him, he will be fine. I felt a shudder coming up my spine, and my arm still stung from the burn he left me, I looked at my arms which were covered with his blood. All the times he had misbehaved with me is nothing compared to the pain that I'm feeling now- He just needs to become okay. No one was coming out of the room, and I had no clue of what to do next. I just kept looking through the door window for some sign; some hope that he will be fine. I hated him right now, why wasn't he careful? Didn't he think about his family? His di that loves him so much? His nani? His brother Akash? His mami and mama? Didn't he ever think of me? Hai Devi Maiya,- Will he be okay?
