Chapter-16
Sid was pacing in the hall..and talking or better to say shouting at someone on phone...Daadi came and asked the reason..
Sid"Daadi six days left for marriage but nothing got finalized and icing on the cake is that I am not getting any marriage hall on rent.."
Daadi said"Beta I wanna suggest something but final decision will be yours..Geet is like my daughter and I will be really happy if she gets married from KM"
Sid was unsure but he said"I don't have any problem but I will ask Geet first"
Geet who was coming down with her luggage to leave the farmhouse heard everything and paused for a minute when sid's questioning eyes fell on her..
Geet gave a fake smile and said"As you wish"
Sid smiled back at her"Daadi If geet has no objection then how can I have any problem but for the time being we should leave now..I want to spend some time with her then from tomorrow onwards she is yours till marriage"
Sid took daadi's blessing and left to take out the car..In the meantime Geet's eyes were searching Maan..Since last night she was restless..
Flashback
After they broke their hug..
Geet was about to leave when she felt her odhani was resisting her..she turned and looked into his black eyes..
"Geet..I want a favour if you can"said Maan
Geet smiled at the sarcasm of life..The man to whom she belongs was asking for a favour..that was also a prank played by life..She nodded
Maan added"I want to make you ready for your marriage and to take you to your mandap"
Geet was surprised..she asked"Are you sure?"
Maan "Yes I am"
She left the place with her eyes filled with tears
Daadi brought her back with her words...
Daadi"maan with adi and Pinky left in the morning itself...He will be fine soon,don't worry Geet"
Geet hugged Daadi and gave a sweet motherly kiss on Chahak's forehead before leaving
After Geet left Daadi ordered the servants to pack the stuffs as there was lot to do in KM
Chahak"Daadi after marriage Geet aunty wont come to our house"
Daadi stroked chahak's hair lovingly"Who said that?"
Chahak"I want an answer"
Daadi sighed "maybe yes"
Chahak"But she had promised that she will never leave me..We cannot keep her with us"
Daadi had no answer than "I wish.."
