Geet walked straight into dadajii's room and Prem immediately turned around to see her still angry. " Prem, I need to speak with you" whispered Geet. Prem nodded and told the nurses to monitor things while he is away.

Prem followed behind Geet who only mumbled, " This lady is IMPOSSIBLE..."

Prem gulped, " Geet tumhara ghussa thora sa thanda ho gaya hain kya?" Geet stopped in front of him and turned around, " Dr Prem Juneja, do you really think I would be calm by now?"

Prem nodded in a no. Geet rolled her eyes and said, " This lady thinks that she owns this hospital! NOT under my control she does NOT... and will NOT"

Geet began rambling on and on and Prem only closed his ears with his hands. " Acha meri maa, seriously ghussa chor do!" added Prem.

" Not at all Dr Prem Juneja I will NOT calm down!" snapped Geet.

" Okay but did you tell her that you are in control? did she say something to you?" asked Prem.

Geet narrowed her eyes, " I kindly told her that this department is under my control and NO ONE can bend the rules under my supervision!"

Prem raised an eyebrow, " Kindly Geet? that doesn't sound like you"

Geet rolled her eyes, " Ha ha... very funny... It sounds very much like me!"

" Not when you become a hitlerni!" mumbled Prem. " Kya?" asked Geet. " Nothing nothing... acha choro, so you're handling it right?" asked Prem.

" Yes I am... but for safety reasons, you are the doctor that treated him and not me!" replied Geet.

" Oh so you're just putting my name in it so you don't get into trouble?" asked Prem. " Exactly" replied Geet. Prem nodded, " Great! I guess we can go on with the case? I mean.. if you're not angry..."

Geet raised an eyebrow, " Prem..."

" Okay okay... ladies first... lets go!" said Prem. Geet smiled a little and turned around and walked towards the ICU room.




" Maa! that dirty Handa girl is treating papa!!" snapped Nitya.

Dadimaa sighed, " Bete... hum iss dushmani se thak chuke hain!" Nitya narrowed her eyes, " Maa! aap keh rahi hain yeh sab? aapka bara beta aur bahu iss dunya main nahin hain!"

Dadimaa looked away and said, " Abhi tumhare papa zyada important hain" Nitya wouldn't argue with her mother... she would tell her father first! End this once and for all.

Nitya walked off from the waiting room outside the ICU ward and she continued walking until she stopped dead in her tracks. She saw Sameer with a girl... He had her cornered into the wall and he was laughing and talking to her.

Nitya walked closer and she heard them, " Meera yaar... sara din kahaan thi?" asked Sameer. Meera rolled her eyes, " Idiot... I was dealing with my patients... aur kya?"

Nitya raised an eyebrow, " Apne dadajii bemaar hain... aur yeh yahaan ishq lada rahe hain!... aur yeh ladki kaun hain?"

Meera put her hands on Sameer's chest and smiled, " Kya.. jaanaab ko bohot pyar aaraha hain?" Sameer kissed her cheek and said, " Of course... and thankyou for taking care of dadimaa too..."

Meera smiled, " Yeh mera farz hain Sam..."

" Wah ji wah...farz.." joked Sameer.

She smacked him on the arm and said, " Acha.. jao warna tumhari bua aayegi aur poochegi kay tum mere saath ishq lada rahe ho jab tumhare dadajii hospital main hain"

Sameer sighed and backed away, " You're right... acha jaan... I'll go"

Meera smiled and she hugged Sameer. " Love you... acha jaoo naa!" said Meera. Sameer nodded and he walked off towards the waiting room. Meera came walking out and she saw Nitya standing there looking very unimpressed.

Meera gulped and she looked away. Meera walked away as fast as possible. " Acha... to yeh baat hain Sameer... yeh tumhari girlfriend hain? very good.." added Nitya sarcastically. She had a plan up her sleeve...


Geet checked up on dadajii and she finally got his reports... He definitely was on the brink of dying. Nitya came walking in and she crossed her arms, " Dr. Geet..."

Geet turned around and she said, " How may I help you Miss Nitya Khurana?" Nitya walked towards her and she said, " Acha hoga kay tum humaray papa se door raho warna mujhse bura koi nahin hoga"

Geet sighed sarcastically, " Miss. Nitya... you are wasting your time no?"

Nitya narrowed her eyes, " Don't start acting smart with me Geet..." Geet rolled her eyes, " Miss Nitya... first of all, if you're thinking of telling my family? go ahead... Would they really believe a Khurana like you?"

" It won't take me two minutes to tell my father who you really are and which doctor is treating him" snapped Nitya.

Geet chuckled, " Be my guest Nitya Khurana..."

Nitya had a disgusted expression on her face, " Don't act like your father... I see too much of him in you"

Geet rolled her eyes, " Why is it hard to take a compliment from a woman like you?"

Nitya hated the look on Geets face... the same look of triumph that Rajveer had when he use to prove his point...

" And by the way... I forgive you" snapped Geet. Nitya raised an eyebrow, " Forgive?"

Geet sighed, " Seems like you also have short term memory loss... I'm afraid you know about those twenty years ago..." Nitya rolled her eyes, " Why would you want to forgive me?"

" You should consider yourself lucky that I did Miss Nitya Khurana... or else you all would see what I would do..." snapped Geet as she pushed past Nitya and out of the room.

Nitya stood there clenching her fists, " Abhi sab theek karte hain hum..."

As Geet was about to leave the ward for her office... she saw Sameer standing there by the door, leaning on the wall with the largest smirk on his face. He looked like he saw the most funniest thing ever.

Geet shot a look at him and she said, " All of you are impossible!"

Sameer burst out laughing, " Wow bhabhi... aapne to kamal kar diya! bua ko anand faanund jawaab de diya! wah! kya baat hain" Geet rolled her eyes, "

Sameer, yeh hospital hain... koi saas bahu serial nahin..."

Sameer stopped laughing and held his ears, " Acha meri maa, maaf kijiye... humari itni jurat kay hum yeh gustakhi karein?"

A small smile crept at Geet's lips and Sameer smiled, " Finally you smiled!"

" Haan haan... zyada khush mat ho" smirked Geet.

" Na jaane kitne aapki hassi ko dekhne kay liye taras gaye hongay...my bhai included..." added Sameer as he was in the most poetic mood.

Geet laughed, " Yeh itni achi urdu kahaan se seekhi?"

Sameer bowed his head down and put his hand on his heart, "Bhai ne sikhaya..."

" Kya?!?" demanded Geet. Sameer quickly looked up and cleared his throat, " Nahin nahin... mera matlab tha kay maine bhai ko sikhaya tha.. you know? kitna poetic hoon main!"

Geet smirked, " Sahi paala para hain aapse devar ji... humari aapki khoob jamegi!"

" Bilkul theek samjha aapne" replied Sameer. Geet squeezed his cheeks, " Aww.. chote... thankyou for cheering me up." She let go of his cheek and smacked him jokingly a little.

Sameer put his hand on his cheek, " Main koi bacha hoon kya?.."

" Of course!" chirped Geet. She laughed and walked off. Leaving him chuckling to himself.

" Teji puttar! kahaan hain tu?" called Daarji. " Abhi aaya daarji" called Tej as he quickly walked down the stairs. " Idhar aa" ordered Daarji. Tej walked to him and Daarji put his hand on Tej's shoulder.

" Puttar... ek baat tu meri kaan khul khol kar sun le... tu Veera ko aainda nahin satayega..." added Daarji. Tej rolled his eyes, " Daarji! ek to yeh drama karti hain... aur phir Geet ko mere khilaaf barkaati hain.."

" Puttar... Geet apni jagah main theek hain aur tu? yeh maine sikhaya tha tujhe?" replied Daarji.

" What if she gives birth to a girl child? do you even remember how bad it was for papa jii to convince the villagers that Geet would be the only girl child?" asked Tej.

Daarji narrowed his eyes, " Mujhe sab pata hain... aur tu mujhe kuch naa sikha... samjha?"

Tej nodded and Daarji sighed, " Geet is the only girl child born in two generations puttar... and if your child turns out to be a girl... history will repeat again..."

"Mujhe pata hain daarji... main apni behn ko nahin pyar karta? par yeh jhansi ki rani banti phirti hain..." complained Tej.

" Geet bilkul Rajveer ki tarah hain... jab bhi main usko dekhta hoon, mujhe apna beta yaad aata hain" added Daarji.

" Woh mujhe nahin pata... par Veera ko ultra sound kay liye le jaana hoga.." said Tej. " Acha phir tu Sanjeevani chale jaa aur Meera ko bol de.." replied Daarji. Tej nodded and he called Veera down.

Veera came running downstairs and she almost tripped until Tej quickly ran and caught her. She looked up at him in relief and affection. Tej looked away impatiently, " Araam se chal... mere bete ko kuch nahin hona chahiye..."

Veera gulped and nodded. " Tu ultra sound kay liye chal rahi hain naa?" asked Tej. Veera nodded and she quickly put her duppata on her head and said, " Chaliye ji.."

" Hum jaa rahe hain daarji..." called Tej. " Jaa puttar jaa... jaldi aana..." replied Daarji.


Tej and Veera reached Sanjeevani and they asked for Meera at the receptionist. " Ek minute sir..." said the receptionist. They waited until Meera came walking out.

" Tej veerji? Veera bhabhi?" asked Meera. Tej walked to her and he said, " Ultra sound karwana hain..." Meera looked at Veera who stood behind Tej timidly.

" Abhi kar naa." ordered Tej. Meera nodded, " Aayiye.." She took Tej and Veera to the maternity ward... Meera quickly messaged Geet to let her know that Tej and Veera were in the hospital.

"Oye check kar Meera..." snapped Tej. " Veerji aapko bahar jaana hoga" replied Meera. Tej rolled his eyes and went out of the room while Meera got things set up with Veera to do her ultra sound.

"Veera bhabhi aajayein" called Meera. Tej entered and he saw Veera looking at the screen with tears in her eyes. Tej sat on the chair by Veera's bed and he said, " To? ladki hain kya ladka?"

Meera smiled, " Ladki..."

Veera's smile disappeared and she looked at Tej who was enraged... " Theek se check kar!" demanded Tej.

Meera raised an eyebrow, " Veerji! bilkul theek kaha hain maine... ek ladki honay wali hain!"

Tej clenched his fists and said, " Bache ko abort kar... abhi aur issi waqt"

Meera jolted up, " Veerji! yeh aap kya keh rahi hain!"

Tej shot a look at Meera, " Tu chup kar aur tu kar jo main bol raha hoon" Veera started to cry, " Ji.. aise mat kijiye... please... meri beti.."

" Oye chup kar Veera... jab tak Tej Singh Handa zinda hain naa? koi ladki mere ghar main paida nahin hogi!" snapped Tej.

Meera narrowed her eyes, " Geet bhi aapki behn hain aur woh ek ladki hain... uska kya veerji?"

" Tu chup kar.. tu humaray ghar main nahin rehti..." snapped Tej.

Meera looked at Tej disgustingly, " Geet was right... you have no shame!"

Tej grabbed Meera's arm, " Kar warna mujhse bura koi nahin hoga!"

Meera struggled out of his hold and stood in front of Veera's bed, " Veerji! main iss department ki head hoon! and under my care... no abortions this late or in your case will happen! Veera bhabhi is too late in her pregnancy to abort the child! its murder veerji!"

Tej looked away impatiently and Meera gave him a disgusted look, " Agar Geet ko pata chala naa? to iss saari dunya main hulchul machegi!"

Tej glared at her, " Tu usse kuch nahin batayegi!"

" Agar bata diya to?" snapped Meera. " Chal Veera!" snapped Tej. Meera stopped him from putting his hands on her, " Agar aapne bhabhi ko haath bhi lagaya na to main aapko Sanjeevani se nikal doongi.."

She glared at him and then she said, " You may leave Tej Singh Handa..." Tej clenched his fists and walked out of the room shutting the door loudly behind him. Meera hugged Veera and she said, " Kuch nahin hoga aapko...aur aapki bachi ko"

Veera cried, " yeh kya ho raha hain mere saath... main itni bud naseeb hoon?" Meera calmed her down and quickly helped her clean up and change.

Meera finished helping her clean up and change and she wiped her tears, " Bhabhi.. kuch nahin hoga... I promise.."

Veera sighed, " Pata nahin kya ho gaya hain unko..." Meera rolled her eyes, " Pata nahin... par aap fikar mat kijiye bhabhi... main aur Geet hain naa?"

Veera smiled a little and put her hand onMeera;s cheek, " Tu bohot achi hain... God gave me two brothers... ek tu... aur ek meri jhansi ki rani Geet..."

Meera laughed, " Acha aap chaliye..." Veera nodded and they exited out of the room to find Tej waiting outside. Tej started to walk away and Veera followed behind him. Meera waved goodbye to them.

She turned around and sighed, " I have to tell Geet... warna na jaane veerji bhabhi ke saath kya karenge..."


As Tej and Veera walked out of the ward he only mumbled, " You good for nothing woman..." Veera listened quietly and didn't say a word.

Suddenly, Tej stopped in his tracks... his eyes went wide in anger..

" Maan Singh?" hissed Tej. Maan stopped walking and he stood in front of Tej. Veera looked very afraid... their interaction was lethal!

" Tej Singh Handa... very impressive" smirked Maan. Tej rolled up his sleeves, " Aur tu yahaan kya kar raha hain Maan Singh?"

" Why does it make a difference to you Tej Singh Handa?" snapped Maan. Both men looked eachother in the eye and Veera then came in between them.

" Ji.. choriye... aayiye..." whispered Veera. Tej pushed Veera aside and she almost fell until Maan caught her by the arm. " Tu ne meri patni ko chua!?" snapped Tej.

Maan let go of Veera and he said, " Animals only treat other people as animals too Tej Singh Handa..." Tej grabbed Maan's collar and he said, " Tu shukar kar kay yeh hospital hain... aur main tujhe maar nahin sakta... warna teri maut mere haathon se hoti"

Maan took Tej's hands off of him and he calmly replied, " Izzat karna seekho Tej... warna tumhe bhaari parega..." Tej narrowed his eyes, " Kya karlega?"

Suddenly, Geet came walking out of the other wards into the main common area of the hospital where the receptionist was. Her eyes went wide at the scene of Maan versus Tej.

She rushed over and stood in between them, " Veerji! yahaan se jayiye!"

Tej widened his eyes, " Tu yahaan se chali jaa Geet..." Geet narrowed her eyes, " Agar main naa gayi? to?"

Tej grabbed her arm and tried push her away until Maan stopped his hand.

" Geet ko choona bhi mat Tej Singh Handa..." hissed Maan.

Tej widened his eyes and Geet was scared now... not for her life. But for Maan's.

" Tu Geet ko kaisa jaanta hain?" snapped Tej. Geet gulped and Maan calmly replied, " Tumhari behn hain... and a woman that you need to respect Tej Singh Handa..."

Geet turned around to face Maan and she pleaded, " Maan yahaan se jaayiye..." Maan looked at her with a hardened expression, " No."

Geet sighed frustratingly and she turned to Tej and she said, " Please veerji... jayiye... " Veera pulled his arm, " Dekhiye.. log baat karenge.. chaliye.."

Tej wanted to say something else until he pushed past Maan and pulled Veera along with him. Geet saw them leave and she said, " Maan yeh kya tha!"

Maan narrowed his eyes, " Kissi ko sabak sikha raha tha!"

" Maan! this is not some sarhad that you stand on which seperates you! Tej veerji could've killed you!" snapped Geet.

Maan scowled, " He can't do anything to Maan Singh Khurana..."

Geet sighed frustratingly, " Maan please..." She put her hand on his cheek and said, " Maan aisa mat kijiye... please... aapko pata hain kay things are sensative!"

" I don't care... he tried to hurt you" snapped Maan. " I can handle veerji myself Maan... please! Im worried about you..agar aapko kuch ho gaya to main kya karoongi?" replied Geet.

He looked at her eyes that were pleading him to calm down and stop... He nodded and Geet faintly smiled, " Thankyou..."


Later that evening, Geet had put her team members in charge of dadaji's care overnight. She couldn't stay because daarji didn't let her stay out long for work...

She came home that evening to find daarji pacing around furiously. Veera and Rano looked at her with fear and Geet frowned, " Daarji?"

Daarji stopped and turned around, " Geet idhar aa.."

Geet went to him and he said, " Tu Maan Singh ko kaisay jaanti hain?" Geet's heart was pounding, but she managed to say this confidently, " I don't know him.."

Daarji widened his eyes, " Sach sach bata Geet..."

Geet narrowed her eyes, " Let me guess... my lovely brother Tej Singh Handa told you some story of mine?" Daarji looked at her intently, " Answer my question..."

" I do know him" replied Geet.

Daarji widened his eyes, " GEET!"

" Haan main sach keh rahi hoon... main usko jaanti hoon kyunki maine usse dekha tha..." replied Geet. " Dekha tha?" asked Daarji.

" Sarhad par... jab main pehle din yahaan aayi thi...as a joke I followed you guys and I was curious of why you all use to go the the sarhad..." replied Geet.

Daarji raised an eyebrow, " Geet...tujhe pata hain naa kay koi kuri humaray ghar ki sarhad pe nahin jaati..."

" Mujhe pata hain daarji... sorry" replied Geet. She gave him her typical baby face and he only sighed, " Geet! aisa mat kar warna tujhe pata hai kay kya hoga..."

Geet nodded and she said, " Btw... your son tried to get an abortion done for Veera bhabhi..."

Without a single word, Geet turned on her heels and went up the stairs and shut the door behind her loudly.

Veera gulped and Rano looked at her with disbelief... " Veera yeh-" began Rano. " Maa nahin.." whispered Veera. Daarji looked surprised, " KYA?"

Veera stepped forward and Tej came walking in rolling his sleeves up. " Nahin... daarji yeh Geet bhi naaa.. aisay bolti hain"

Tej frowned and Daarji knew the truth... Geet would never lie... and she was always right when it came to Veera. Daarji glared at Tej, " You tried to get an abortion?"

Tej looked down nervously, " Uh woh.. daarji..."

" BOL..." roared Daarji. Daarji walked towards him and he said, " Just because the baby is a girl?" Tej looked up, " What will the villagers say!? my wife is not able to give me another son?!!"

Geet opened her door and she yelled out, " BY THE WAY, ITS NOT VEERA BHABHI'S FAULT THAT IT'S A GIRL... ITS YOURS... BECAUSE IT DEPENDS ON THE FATHER!"

She slammed the door loudly behind her again.

Daarji raised an eyebrow, " Meri poti ek doctor hain... aur usko zyada pata hoga! aur tu? nalayak! teri himmat kay tu meri par poti ko maar de!"

Tej gulped, " Nahin daarji nahin..."

" Abhi aur issi waqt meri nazron se jaa...sharam kar Tej! tu apne papa ka beta hain?! unbelievable!" hissed Daarji. Daarji walked upstairs into his personal room and library..

Rano took Veera's hand, " Aaj tu mere saath rahegi..."

Rano glared at her son, " Nalayak... agar tere papa zinda hotay naa... tu tujhe ghar se bahaar nikal dete!" She and led Veera out of the living room.

" Abhi batata hoon Geet! tu ne mujhse panga liya hain... Tej Singh Handa se!" snapped Tej. He walked off... he would make sure that Geet went down in the eyes of daarji after all that insult.




Geet sat on her bed trying to calm down from the incident. How dare veerji say that to Daarji!? Geet was definitely going to get him back for this one! Someone knocked on Geet's door.

" Come in!" hissed Geet. Meera entered the room and found Geet angry as ever... " Geet kya hua?" asked Meera. Geet shot a look at her, " You're asking me whats wrong Meera?!"

Meera sighed and she shut the door behind her. She sat down beside Geet and put her hand on Geet's hand, " I know... its about the abortion thing right?"

Geet nodded and Meera said, " Geet... hes just being himself.. you know Tej veerji..." Geet rolled her eyes, " Men like that don't deserve wives like Veera bhabhi..."

" I know Geet... bhabhi is the most wonderful person ever... but you have to realize that shes timid, quiet and vulnerable in front of veerji..." added Meera.

" I know... I swear, agar mere saath koi ladka aisa karay naa? I would've thrown him outside the window!" snapped Geet. Meera giggled, " Geet... seriously?"

Geet narrowed her eyes, " Koi shaq? Geet se koi panga nahin le sakta!" Meera held her ears in apology, " Acha meri maa, sorry..."

Geet rolled her eyes and looked away. Meera smirked, " Waisay... God paired you and Maan veerji up so well... tum bhi ghussay ki tez ho... aur woh bhi"

Geet broke into a small smile, " I know..."

" Par koi Maan veerji ka muqabala nahin kar sakta... woh to tum bhi jaanti ho" joked Meera. "

"Haan bhaiee... meri itni jurat kay main dusht dhanav Maan Singh Khurana se laroon?" added Geet sarcastically.

Meera burst out laughing, " Wow Geet... tu naa, panga lene main waqt nahin lagati..even if its your own boyfriend!"

Geet smirked, " Like I said my dear Meera Singh Rathod... you under estimate me too much"

Meera rolled her eyes, " Acha tu weekend par off le rahi hain naa?"

" Yeah of course... why?" asked Geet. " Geet tu itni bari jhalli hain! All the girls get together and we enjoy the whole carnival without any guys around! and you know that daarji and my papa combine security guards and police all over the mela so there isn't any trouble" replied Meera.

Geet widened her eyes, " HAW... HOW COULD I FORGET?"

"Yeah idiot... aur tu iss saal ki leader hain! hamesha ki tarah..." replied Meera. Geet smacked herself on the forehead, " Haye rabba... mere dimaagh bhi naa..."

" Haan tera dimaagh!" sighed Meera. Geet was quietly cursing herself for not remembering!

Meera continued, " we are wearing sari, churidar, shalwar kameez...?" . Geet thought for a second and then smirked, " Lengha..."

Meera widened her eyes, " Geet! pagal to nahin ho gayi tu? You know lengha's are SO hard to handle!." Geet smiled, " I know... but we are definitely going to wear that and tell all the girls you know that the dress code is a lengha!"

Meera rolled her eyes, " Geet pagal ho gayi hai tu!"

Geet smirked, " Of course Im pagal... which is why you're my best friend Meera." Geet giggled and she quickly sent out a mass text message to all the other friends she and Meera had in Amritsar.

" Great! all our friends know and now they have to send out the text message or get it out to all the girls they know!" smiled Geet.

" Acha main kaunsa lengha pehnoo?" asked Meera. Geet laughed so hard, " Meera yeh tu mujhse pooch rahi hain? I always borrow yours naa? you have beautiful lengha choli's!"

Meera sighed, " Acha kal mere ghar aaja... and we'll get ready together there!" Geet nodded and then she said, " Its friday tomorrow and Im getting home around the evening time too.."

" I am too, we'll come home together?" asked Meera. Geet nodded and she said, " Chal... lets just think about what we can wear!"

The girls started brainstorming outfits and how they can make theirs look unique!
