This part of the update is dedicated to aasmina for a special reason …

Recap :-

We have already seen that Geet prepares every thing for the meeting … American Clients were quite pleased with the meeting … rano was on her way to delhi while geet & maan's meeting was going on …. Rano comes to Delhi with a hidden agenda … after rano arrives ….. She wanted to speak to geet regarding something …. rather say regarding someone but was not getting chance to speak to her … Maan & Geet along with office staff were staying quite busy & were working late nights because of the american project as well as other important projects khurana constructions handle but maaneet were busy more because of american project … finally one night ….

Part 27:-

Maan's car comes & stops in front of geet's home …geet mom's hears the sound of a vehicle stopping in front of her home comes out to see who came … a man walks out of one side of the car & opens the door& a young girl comes out of the car … she recognised instantly that it was her daughter & as it was dark she could not see maan's face … she then notices that some one coming over there & parking the scooty & handling the keys to maan … maan in turn giving the keys to geet … geet taking the keys & biding bye to maan & maan leaving with his driver … rano's anger can be seen from her face … geet walks inside as the door was open …

Rano – I want you to resign your job …

Geet who did not expect this line from her mother was shocked her tiredness vanished immediately …

Geet – what …

Rano – yes you heard me right … I want you to resign your job …

Geet – mamma … what are you saying … all of a sudden …

Rano – not all of a sudden I wanted to talk to you in this regards since I planned my trip to Delhi …

Geet – what ….

Geet looking upto the ceiling & talking to her babaji…

Geet – babaji … yeh mamma kya bol rahin hain ….

While rano was thinking about that some one … she pauses her statement …. Rano & Geet in their individual thoughts … Rano in her thoughts … Rano thinking about what she wanted to speak to geet about that some one …. How to talk to her …

At the same time …. A flight has landed … every one getting ready to come out of the flight …. A young lady was trying to take her cabin luggage but was unable to do so as she could not reach it … a young & handsome man comes to her help …

Young man – allow me mam ….

Young lady moves back & thanks him … she could not see his face all she could see was his silhouette from back …. He helps her with her cabin luggage … as people were behind her she quickly takes her luggage & thanks the person who helped her with her luggage … he in turn flashes a sweet smile to the lady … she was looking at that charming face which was flashing a sweet smile back to her … his eyes … with a spark of naughtiness in them … which any girl can easily fall for … she leaves in a haste while hiding her expressions & he understood what just happened … smiles back to himself& then pulls his baggage & comes out of the flight …

***back to Geet's thoughts ***

Geet hits her forehead & was thinking that she should have expected this from her mother's unexpected arrival … but as she got busy with that american project … she kind of forgot that her mother might have had some motive behind her arrival … geet quickly comes back to present … geet cursing herself for being so stupid …

Geet again looking towards the ceiling & talking to her babaji …

Geet – babaji ab main kya karun ….

Geet – mamma …mamma …. What happened …

Rano – haan …

Rano also comes back from her thoughts about that person…

Geet – mamma what were you saying …

Rano – what I was saying is simple … just resign your job ….

Geet – mamma what happened to you all of a sudden … why you want me to resign ….

Rano – it's because… enough is enough & I don't want you to work over there any more … so just resign …

Geet – mamma … what is this out of no where all of a sudden resgination …

Rano – all of sudden … this decision was not taken all of sudden … I wanted to speak to you every day in this regards & every day you were so tired that you don't even have time to speak to me after you came home & in the morning you run off to work at jet speed & as if its not enough … you started coming late from home …. & today … enough is enough … some man dropped you home … that too late in night …

Geet – some man …

Geet thinking of maan & was silently thanking her babaji & was breathing a sigh of relief that her mom has not seen maan … well Rano never saw maan so has no clue who it was outside with geet …

Geet wants her mom to accept maan the way he is … as some where she had a weird inner feeling that her mom may develop some prejudice against him & might reject maan without even meeting him & may not even give him a chance …

At the same time geet does not know that all of a sudden what or rather who made Rano come to delhi & why her mother wants her to resign … (as she has no clue as to what sameera said to her mother …. )

Rano – yes …

Geet – mamma it was late in the night so he came to drop me … that's all ….

Rano – that's all…. Do you realise what's the time right now …

Geet – I know it's little bit late mamma …

Rano – little bit late… its mid-night ….

Geet – it's not yet mid-night mamma …

Rano – it's almost mid-night ….

Geet – mamma … even Cinderella's fairy God mother gave her time till mid-night …

Rano – stop talking about fairy tales & remember this is life not fairy tale …

Geet – mamma … I was busy at work place …

Rano – yes … that's why to avoid all further problems in future … it's better if you resign that job …

Geet – for such a simple reason … I can't resign the job …

Rano – this sounds simple to you …

Geet – ok … ok … it may not be simple … but it's not that wrong either as I was busy with office work … so there was no option … so many woman are working now a days & come home late from work …

Rano – there is a limit to every thing geet … I don't like that someone came to drop you off late in night …

Geet – limit …. you saw that he dropped me home but you did not see that he dropped your daughter safely home & he was worried for my safety … he dropped me because It was late & not because of any other reason ….

Rano – well in that case I have a better solution …

Geet – what …

Rano - to avoid all further problems … better you resign …

Geet – mamma … what is this … resign … resign … I can't resign in the middle Just like that …. They need me now & more over you need to understand that it shall affect my career … without giving notice you can't resign any job …

Rano – don't give me any law points & what career you are talking about … enough of what ever work you are doing … it's high time you think about marriage ….

Shocked Geet while her eyes pop out – marriage …

Rano in a fierce tone – yes marriage …

Geet – par … all of a sudden marriage … no way …

Rano – yes … I have decided about it …

Geet – no … mamma …not now …

Geet storms out of the room & goes inside her bedroom& Is near the threashold of her bedroom door …

Geet – mamma … shaadi… tho main karungi parr apni marzi se & that to when I want to get married then& I shall let you know … I am not resigning … that's it ….

Geet then locks herself & sits on the bed & squats her legs … then draws them towards herself so that her chin touches her knees & then buries her head in her lap & is crying … tears were not stopping … the fear of losing maan made her behave rudely with her mother …which she did not want to do & at the same time she did not want to go away from the person whom she loves dearly … geet was weeping inconsolably … amidst all this … Geet thinking about maan & how to talk to her mom about maan …

At the same time … rano thinking that she should not have rushed things with geet& should not have been so harsh with her all of a sudden & should have taken every thing slow with her … so she decides to talk to geet calmly over this issue later …

***** back to the airport ****

The young man gets through the immigration & is waiting for his baggage at the baggage claim … The baggage starts arriving & he pays a baggage porter to collect his baggage The porter starts picking up baggage& places it in the cart & follows the young man who has his back pack on his shoulder … passes through the customs … girls turning back & drooling at his handsome featured man … he was smiling back to them while enjoying all the attention …. His car along with his driver & personal assistant were waiting for him outside …. his driver opens the door for him … he then steps into the car & his P.A. & Driver both load the luggage into the car trunk …. Mr. Sharma his P.A. takes the seat next to the driver & young man in his spacious back seat checking his Iphone …

Young man – Mr. Sharma how's the feed back about the new clients …

The Young man is Rohan Anand Vadera … heir of Vadera group of industires whose branches are all over the world … one of the top business men in the world …

Mr. Sharma – Rohan sir… the feed back is quite gud … our team liked their work & said that they were quite pleased with their job …. Must say They are working very hard …

Rohan was thinking about some one & person's images come in his mind … giving an evil smile while speaking ….

Rohan – naturally … when someone so perfect is handling the job … they definitely shall like it & why they shall not like it …

(emphasizing on these lines)

Rohan - when their boss likes the person's work … naturally they shall also like the work … they don't have any option to not to like the work … do they ….

Mr. Sharma – yes sir … I agree …

Mr. sharma turns back & murmurs to himself … - patha nahin ab inka dill kinpe aaya hain …

Rohan – I heard some thing mr. sharma ….

Mr. Sharma –nothing sir …

Rohan's face is revealed ... Rohan with a winning smile ….

**** Geet's bedroom ****

Geet who was already tired … crying inconsolably made her even more weak & tired that she slept in same position … that she was sitting while crying …

Geet wakes up next morning … finds difficult to move as her entire body is aching … her sleeping position & tiredness took a toll on her & when she wakes up she reaslises she has high fever & body pains … but she wakes up with great difficulty … she wanted to take day off … but realises that she can't take the risk & has to go to work at any cost … or else her momma might think that she agreed to her condition of resigning her job …

so geet wakes up & gets ready & leaves for work & makes kadaa for herself to make herself feel better & drinks it & leaves to work … Rano does not stop her as she too wants to take things slow with geet … and not to force anything on her all of sudden … as she knows geet that geet is very stubborn & head strong girl & does not listen to anyone as she also knows from whom geet inherited this trait …

Geet reaches office … comes to know that maan was busy at the site … so geet was working alone in her cabin … with thousand and one things going on in her mind… she starts working on project & wanted to inform maan about last night details & at the same time she does not want maan to know that she is suffering from fever & body pains … geet decides to inform maan that after today she can't work late in office after office hours …. for few days atleast… as she does not want to give another chance to her mother …. till things get back to normal & her mom understands her feelings towards maan & also she now has a greater task of making her mom accept maan ….

It's lunch hour maan is no where in the office … geet is waiting for maan … finding geet alone pinky insists on having lunch with geet …geet could not say no to pinky as she feels that since a long time she has not had lunch with her … so she decides to have her lunch with her & also she needed to take medicine to recover from her fever & body pains … after her lunch geet goes back to her cabin … pinky & adi go out to the cafeteria … geet decides to take a short nap for 5 min as the medication was making her sleepy …geet sleeps while sitting in the chair …

Maan finally comes back to office … checks that the office is empty after checking time understands that every one must have gone for lunch … then searches for geet checks his cabin first & finds it empty … then he comes to geet's cabin …. Finds geet sleeping peacefully in her chair … her locks were flying across her face covering her face … maan was feeling disturbed because of her locks which were not allowing him to see his meeshti's face … Maan walks slowly towards her … bends over her ….. admires her beauty as usual … then slowly Lifts his hand 2 move the locks … he tucks her locks behind her ears …he realises that geet is having temperature … he tries to wake her up …. He gently pats on her left shoulder with his right hand … Geet wakes up opens her eyes & closes them again after giving a sweet smile 2 maan … maan again tries to wake her up … geet opens her eyes & gives a look to him & sleeps again … the medication she took made her drowsy but maan did not know that& he was worried & does not think twice … he places her hands around his neck & then scoops her in his arms & starts walking towards the exit … goes to the parking lot & maan's driver spots maan walking towards the car with geet in his arms … he quickly opens his car door for him … maan places geet in the car seat & fastens the seat belt & drives her off to the hospital … on their way to hospital … maan was constantly checking on geet& was making sure she was fine in her seat … but before they could reach the hospital on their way to the hospital … geet wakes up … geet innocently asks maan where they are heading to …

Geet – maan where are we going …

Maan – where … of course to hospital …

Geet was worried – hospital… who is in hospital …

Maan – no need to panic … no one is there … but very soon some one will be …

Geet – maan … I don't have patience to solve puzzles … tell me who is in hospital … I am worried …

Maan – no one & no need to worry … but very soon you will be there…

Geet – what …

Maan – yes … as you are having high temperature …

Geet – come on maan I am fine … what happened to me … because of this I am not going to di (she wanted to say die) …

Before Geet could complete Maan gives an angry glare to geet while slamming the brakes suddenly … Geet understood what maan would say… rather do … maan's signature statement … bill kull chup … with his slender finger on her lips … Geet did not finish her word & was looking at maan …

Geet – maan … what is this …

Maan after slamming the brakes pulls the car next to the kerb & then parks the car & walks out of the car & opens the door for her …

Maan – don't you ever dare to talk to me about death Geet ….

Geet & maan have an eye lock & geet saw the anger in his eyes thinks that its better to not to talk any thing right now … Geet pouts& does not come out of the car … maan gives another angry glare to her …geet is still adamant & does not want to get down off the car …

Maan bends& takes off her seat belt …. maan then pulls her out of the car in anger ….in this process geet loses her balance & slips & her face hits maan's chest hardly & maan who has not expected this coming on him lost his balance & falls on his back on the pavement & geet too falls on him …. Even after the fall maan does not leave his tight grip on geet's arms … he holded her quite possessively … so possessively that his finger prints were imprinted on her milky white delicate skin … his hold was so strong that his hold increased her body pains pain further (geet never complained nor showed any signs of pain earlier because of his hold … but today her body pains were not supporting her & it showed up in her eyes … )& geet's eyes have become moist because of his grip … maan realised that because of his anger for a split second he forgot that geet was having high temperature & Maan's anger reduced instantly seeing moisture in her eyes he loosened his grip on her but has not left his hold on her …

The gentle breeze that was blowing made her hair slide on to her face & cover it …. maan lifted his right hand to move the locks of her hair that were falling on Geet's face which was covering her beauty partially … while the eye lock continues maan tucks her locks behind her ear ... so that he can enjoy her beauty peacefully without any disturbance & he tries to pull her close to him … geet was feeling shy & was trying to free her self while checking the surroundings to see if there was any one around them & she thanks her babaji that the road was isolated & not busy … she tries to get up but in vain as her duppatta is stuck under maan's body , that while getting up she again falls on him … Maan coils his hands around Geet while she was trying to come out of his grip but could not …

Geet – maan … leave me …

Maan – no …

Geet – aap naa kahin bhi … kabhi bhi shuru ho jaathae ho … just check the surroundings … where we are … thank god that this area is secluded & not busy now … warna …

Maan – warna …

Geet – kya warna …chaliye utiye …

Maan – no …

Geet – come on maan this is not our bed room …

Maan looks at her intently the minute she says that …

Maan – really … our bed room … hmmm ….

geet bits her tongue … was feeling shy & drops her eye lids … maan lifts her chin with his right hand & drawns it towards himself while looking deeply into her eyes …

maan – what did you say just now … Me in dreamland …

Geet – maan utiye naa … please …

Maan – no … not that …

Geet – yes I said that only … now get up …

Maan – no … not untill you tell me about what you said just now about bedroom ….

Geet – fine … stay like that ... I am getting up …

Geet tries to get up … maan again tightly coils his arms around his meeshti … geet felt the pain again …

Geet – ouch …

maan releases her & her dupatta … while getting up she moans in pain to which maan reacts quickly … both get up … maan tries to check why she moaned … but geet does not allow him to see her arms & covers them with her duppatta while adjusting herself …

Maan – Geet are you fine …

Geet – yeah I am ok…

Maan – no you are not … kithna bakk bakk karthi ho … because of your bakk bakk you made me forget what I was supposed to do …

Geet – ab maine kya kiya maan ….

Maan – sab kuch karke … ab mujhe punch rahin ho ki ab mainekya kiya maan …

Geet – boliye …boliye naa … mainekya kiya …

Maan – geet enough… now finger on your lips till we reach hospital & see doctor …

Geet hugs maan …

Geet – parr maan …you are my doctor … dill ka doctor … I don't need a doctor … I need you …

Maan assuring geet … while return her hug ….

Maan – I am always with you geet …

Geet – I need to tell you something important maan …. Which I wanted to tell you since morning …

Maan – not now …first lets get into the car & we shall talk about it later after our doctor's visit …

Geet has tears in her eyes which maan spots ….

Geet – maan first listen to me naa … I need to talk to you … shall we sit some where in a peaceful place away from the world & talk …

Maan – meeshti … I understood that something is bothering you … but first I will take you to the doctor then we shall sit & talk … please meeshti …

Geet – maan suno naa …

Maan in a firm voice – meeshti … what ever may be the problem … we will get a solution but first we will go to the doctor then only every thing else …

Geet – maan please…

Maan – geet … kabhi tho meri baath suna karo … every time I listen to you but this time … you will listen to me … first we will go to hospital then I will take you to a special place & we can talk over there … samjhi tum … no more arguments …

Geet had no choice but to listen to maan & sit quietly in car.
