Geet looked out and saw 3 kids playing. 2 girls and a boy. They were holding hands and twirling. Geet smiled seeing them and walked towards them. As the kids saw her they ran towards her screaming "Mummyyy... Mummaa... Maasiii"

Geet laughed seeing their enthusiasm n bent to hug them all. As they were about to reach her the boy fell. The girls stopped and rushed to the boy. Even Geet rushed towards the kids n bent to turn the boy who had fallen on his face.

Girl 1: "Mumma dekho na yeh uth nahi raha... Aap bolo toh zaroor uthega. Woh aapki baat sunta hai na plz bolo na"

Girl 2 : "Haan mummy aap bolo na plzz"

Geet turned to them n said, "Shhh baby kuch nahi huva. Woh abhi uthega. Aap dono chup hojao" n then turned to the boy n picked him up n said, "Baby plz utho na. Dekho aapki maasi ke rahi hai na plz utho. Agar aap nahi uthe toh main aapko chocolates nahi dungi."

As she was speaking someone snatched the boy from her hand. As she looked up she saw Meera hugging the boy. Geet got up n tried to tell Meera when she saw Meera was also losing blood. Before Geet could do anything both of them disappeared.

Geet "MEERAAA..."

Suddenly a light was flashed on her bcoz of which she closed her eyes and when she opened her eyes everything was a blur. She tried to move her hand but she felt pain when she tried to move it. She blinked to clear the blur but wasnt so successful. When she opened her eyes, she saw a few blur image of people around her but before she could tell anything she felt pain in her hand and soon everything went dark.

As she woke up she could see now clearly. She moved her hand and something fell by her hand. As she tried to get up a hand held her. "Geet araam se. Tumhe abhi nahi uthna chaiye"

Geet looked up into Maan's face and said, "Maan main kaha hu???"

Maan, "Geet tum hospital main ho. Bas 2 mins rukho main doctor ko bula ke aata hu"

Geet nodded and lied down n tried to remember the last events. She knew that Brij and his men had caught her n Meera and she had tried to save Meera but then she remembered someone screaming their name and then everything went blank so what had happened??? How did she reach the hospital??? How was Meera??? How did Maan find them??? N the more strange part... the dream or whatever u would call it. What did it mean??? Why did the boy and Meera disappear suddenly??? Had something wrong happened to Meera???

In 2 mins Maan returned with the doctor who checked her and wrote something on the exam pad and informed the nurse about the dosage and then turned to Maan and said something and left. Geet was trying to understand what was going on and where was Meera??? What had happened to them and how did they land up in the hospital???

As she was lost in these thoughts she felt someone carress her cheeks and looked up to see Maan. His eyes were red and filled with pain. Geet looking at them asked, "Kya huva Maan??? Aapki aankh lal kyu hai??? Aur Meera kaha hai??? Kaisi hai woh??? Main yaha kaise aayi???"

Maan closed his eyes for a min and then opened them and gave a small smile n said, "Meera theek hai Geet. Woh dusre ward main so rahi hai."

Though Maan was smiling Geet felt something was wrong so she said, "Maan mujhe Meera se milna hai plz. Main ek baar dekh lu ke woh theek hai toh mujhe tasali hojayegi"

Maan tried to stop her and said, "Nahiii Geet. Tum abhi nahi ja sakti...woh doctor ne mana kiya hai. Tum abhi bhi weak ho na isiliye. Tum abhi araam karo. Main tumhe baad main leke jaunga"

Geet wasnt convinced with him n said, "Nahi Maan plz mujhe kuch acha nahi laga raha. Kuch toh huva hai plz ek baar milne dijye"

Maan was about to protest when Geet cut him and said, "Aapko aapki Princesses ki kasam plz ek baar milne dijye"

Maan sighed in defeat and said, "Ok par sirf 5 mins ke liye. Uske baad tum wapas aake sirf araam karne wali ho"

Geet nodded and pinched her throat showing her promise. Maan then helped her get up and held both her hands while she got balance. They then went to the next room where Meera was sleeping. As Geet entered she saw Yash was holding Meera's hands and tears were coming out of his eyes.

Geet went to them and kept her hand on Yash's shoulder. Yash looked up and as soon as he saw Geet he got really angry n pushed away her hand n got up and shouted, "Ab kyu aayi ho tum yaha???"

Geet who was still not so strong was about to fall back when Yash pushed away her hand when Maan held her from back. Geet looked in shock at Yash and whispered, "Maine kya kiya Yash??? Tum aise kyu keh rahe ho???"

Yash looked at Meera and then looked back at Geet and shouted, "Tumhari wajhe se hi sab huva hai. Na tum humari zindagi main aate na hum aaj humara bacha khote. Tumhare wajhe se Meera ne Brij ko thapad maara aur aaj tumhari wajhe se Brij ne apna badla le liya humare bache ko mar ke"

Geet was shocked hearing this and held Maan's hand to support herself. Yash forgetting about Geet's condition continued, "Tum sachi main manhoos ho jaise tumhare parivaar wale keh rahe the. Isliye tumhare pati ne bhi tumhe chod diya. Ab hume baksh do tumhari manhosiyat se. Bohut kho chuka hu main aaj ab apni Meera ko nahi kho sakta tumhare wajhe se. Chali jao yaha se aur kabhi wapas apna chehra mat dikhana hume." and turned away while Geet who was trying to take in all the words went numb with shock. She didnt know what to tell

Firstly Meera's miscarriage and then Yash's outburst.

Geet in her mind, "Yash ne sahi kaha. Main hi manhoos hu. Jiske saath rehti hu sab ki zindagi main manhoosiyat pela deti hu. Phele Maa Bauji ki zindagi main, phir Dev ki zindagi main aur ab Meera aur Yash ki zindagi main. Meri wajhe se hi yeh sab huva hai. Ab main Meera se nazar kaise milaungi??? Kaise dekh paungi uski aankho main dard aur aaunso. Nahi main nahi rahungi uske pass. Mujhe dekh ke usse uska dard hi yaad ayega aur yeh main nahi hone dungi" and started walking out without any thought about where would she go and how. She just knew she had to get away from Meera and Yash to save them from her manhoosiyat.

Maan who was controlling till then burst at Yash, "Yash tumhe pata hai tumne kya kar diya hai??? Manta hu ke tum abhi dukh main ho ke tumne aur Meera ne apna bacha khoya hai lekin uss main Geet ki kya galti hai??? Tumne aaj jo kuch bhi bola hai pata hai uska kya asar hoga uske upar. Woh phele se hi itni kamzor hai aur ab tumhare baato ne todh diya hoga usse. Chii maine kabhi nahi sochata mera dost ek din aisa ban jayega. Aur yeh mat sochna ke Geet akeli hai Main hu uske saath aur hamesha rahunga chahe tum aur Meera raho ya na raho." and stormed out of the room in search of Geet.

Maan first went to her room where she wasnt and then went out in the corridor and saw her walking down the stairs. He ran to her and called her name but Geet didnt hear and just kept walking. She wasnt even looking where she was going and was about to fall when Maan held her from falling.

Geet came back to reality when Maan shook her and shouted, "Tum dekh ke chal nahi sakti. Agar gir gayi hoti toh. Tumhe sirf apna nahi Princesses ka bhi dhyan rakhna hai"

Geet realised her mistake and then remembered Yash's words and tears rolled out of her eyes and she broke down there crying. Maan hugged her and rubbed her back to calm her down but Geet was no where stopping.

After sometime Maan pulled back and wiped her tears and said, "Shhh Geet bas bohut ro liya ab chup hojao. Dekho tumhara iss tarah rona theek nahi hai. Chalo utho" and made her stand and helped her walk back to her room. He made her lie down and then called the nurse and told them to get some food and her medicines.

In 5 mins the nurse got her food and left. Maan then tried to feed Geet but she didnt want to eat and just pushed away his hand and turned a bit to the side and closed her eyes.

Maan sighed and went to the other side and said, "Geet plz kuch kha lo. Dekho tumhe kal raat se kuch nahi khaya hai aur yeh princesses ke liye acha nahi hai"

Geet just stayed still while Maan smirked and carressed her stomach and said, "Dekha Princesses. Aapki Mumma na aapse jhoote promises hi karti hai. Unhone kaha tha ke woh apna khayal rakhegi par dekho aap bhooki hai phir bhi woh khana nahi kha rahi"

Geet opened her eyes and glared at him and said, "Main jhoote promise nahi karti samjhe aap. Aur aapko kisne kaha ke meri bachiya bhooki hai??? Main unki Maa hu mujhe pata hai unko bhook lagi hai ya nahi"

Maan again talked to the babies and said, "Princesses chalo batao Mumma ko ke aapko bhook lagi hai. Mumma ko toh kuch bhi nahi pata" and just then Geet felt 2 kicks in her stomach.

Geet glared at him and sighed and looked up and said, "Babajiii!!!! Dekho na yeh teeno ne team bana li hai. Mere liye toh koi nahi hai" and made crying face while Maan smiled that finally Geet was coming out of the sad mood.

Maan then got the plate and took a piece and said, "Chalo ab khalo plz"

Geet sighed and opened her mouth and had the bite. After eating it she made a yuck face and said, "Chiii kitna pheka hai yeh. Mujhe kuch khata khana hai. Maan plz inse kaho na achar dene ke liye"

Maan glared at her and said, "Jiii nahi. Jo hai usse hi khana padega. Doctor ne bhi kaha hai 2 din tak kuch bhi khata nahi kha sakti tum toh ab chup chap yeh kha lo"

Geet made a face n murmurred, "Khadoos" but had to finish the whole food bcoz of the Khadoos's glare.

After finishing her food and medicines she slept off due to medicines effect.

After Geet slept off Maan went out n stood near Meera's ward. He didnt go in as Yash would be there and he didnt want to face him right now as he was sure he would punch Yash bcoz of whom Geet had broke down again today. He sighed n went out to the hospital garden n sat in the fresh air n remembered the events which happened just a few hours back.

FlashBack

Maan had come to Chandigarh today after finally finishing the project. Now he could stay in Chandigarh for more days. Ahh imagining of these days he couldnt stop a grin on his face. He rushed to home as soon as he could n entered n called Geet n Meera's name but both werent answering n the house seemed too calm. He called Yash who said that maybe they would have gone to the park near the house.

So Maan rushed there but as soon as he entered his blood turned cold. He saw Geet crying n falling on Brij's leg pleading something. He couldnt hear what they were saying but he could guess from the look. He then looked around n saw that 2 men held Meera who was crying as well. He called Yash to come with police as soon as possible. As he cut the call he saw Brij removing the knife n rushed there. He pushed away Geet n hit Brij's hand. He began punching Brij on his stomach, face, hands n legs n removed all the anger he felt when he saw Geet n Meera helpless.

Geet had fainted by then and the men had left Meera to fight Maan but when they left her she hit the ground on her stomach. As Maan was fighting some other men Brij tried to attack him from behind but before he could do that he felt a kick on his stomach n looked up to see Yash there with red eyes.

Before Yash could continue the police stopped them n arrested Brij n his men. Maan rushed to Geet while Yash picked up Meera n both rushed to the car. Maan placed Geet in the front seat while Yash sat in the back with Meera. They soon rushed the hospital where both were admitted.

Yash was shaking so much that he couldnt fill the forms. Maan made him sit n filled all the formalities for both Geet n Meera. He then went to the police station n filed a case against Brij n his men.

As he returned he saw that doctor had come out n rushed to him n asked, "Doctor kaise hai Geet aur Meera???"

Doctor, "Mrs. Geet ka check up abhi chal raha hai lekin Mrs. Meera ka miscarriage hogaya hai. Woh zameen pe stomach pe girne ke impact aur itni stress handle nahi kar payi aur iss wajhe se unka miscarriage hogaya hai"

Hearing this Yash fell back on the seat while Maan closed his eyes in pain. Just few days back they had got this news n had rejoiced the new member's welcome n now they had lost the baby.

Maan then asked if they could meet Meera so the doctor said that she was also having high bp n so some medicines were given to bring them to normal level n so she would continue sleeping for few hours but they could be in her room if they wanted. Maan helped Yash go to Meera's room n consoled him.

After few mins he came out n was was waiting for doctor to finish Geet's check up. After another half an hour the doctor finally came n said, "Mr. Khurana, ur wife n kids are in critical condition. She has been over stressing herself n has many complications which would not be good for either of them. If it was in earlier stages we would have recommended abortion but now it isnt possible but Mrs. Khurana has to take proper rest. If the complications do not lessen within 3 weeks it will be hard for us to save the babies n maybe even mrs. Khurana."

Maan was shocked hearing this n asked, "What should I do doctor???"

The doctor then gave a diet she had to follow suggested some excerises like yoga to de stress n suggested a change in environment if possible.

After asking a few questions more Maan left to Geet's room where seeing her connected to all those wires just broke his heart. He didnt like seeing Geet like this weak n pale. He missed the Geet who used to fight with him, irritate him.

The doctor's words kept repeating in his mind that he could love both his princesses n Geet as well. That thought was enough to fill his heart with fear. They were the only ones whom he could call his own after Dadi. He had finally found a family in Geet n the babies but now soon he could lose them as well. No he wouldnt let that happen n promised himself that he would now not let Geet worry about anything... If needed he would take her away from here as well but he wouldnt let anything happen to them.

Flashback Ends!

He felt a hand on his shoulder n looked up n saw that it was Meera with a nurse. He looked around for Yash but when he didnt find him he made her sit n scolded, "Tum pagal hogai ho kya??? Yaha kaise agayi tum aur woh bhi Yash ke beena. Tumhari tabiyat abhi theek nahi hai ke tum aise ghoom rahi ho. Chalo abhi agar kisi ne dekh liya na tumhe yahatoh mujhe daant padegi"

Meera sighed n held Maan's hand n said, "Usse yaha se lejao Maan. Lejao yaha se isse phele ke usse kuch aur hojaye. Maine toh apna bacha kho diya hai lekin Geet nahi kho sakti. Uski madat karo Maan aur plz uska khayal rakho. Jhalli hai woh mere dard main khud ko bhool jayegi isiliye usse le jao Maan plz le jao." n sobbed.

Maan hugged Meera to calm her down. He knew that this was not easy for Meera n his respect for her grew. She was strong than any lady he had seen till now n he knew that she would soon cope up with this situation as well.

He wiped her tears n said, "Main Geet ko leke jaunga Meera lekin tumhe mujhe promise karna hoga ke jab main bulao tum humare pass aaogi, Geet ko mujhse zyada apni friend ki zaroorat hai toh jab usko tumhari zaroorathogi tumhe waha aana padega."

Meera nodded n said, " Pakka promise"

Maan nodded n then helped her inside. As he was going to take her to her ward she stopped n pointed to Geet's ward n Maan understood n took her there. He helped her inside n made her sit on the stool n went out to give her some privacy.

As he was waiting outside he saw Yash coming towards Geet's ward in anger n stopped him from entering.

Yash, " Maan move away. Main Meera ko lene ja raha hu"

Maan didnt move n said, " Meera ko Geet se milne se nahi rokh sakte tum"

Yash in anger, "Rokh sakta hu aur rokunga" n barged in to see Meera getting up from the stool. He rushed in n held her hand n took her to her ward carefully. As he went out he glared at Maan n left without saying a word while Meera mouthed "Thank u" n went away.

Maan sighed in hurt that his friend had turned bitter n heartless that he spoke such harsh words to a girl whom he considered like his sister. Strange is the way this world works.
