You are investigating the murder of the the senior from the same college. Agreed. But what is the evidence that tells Maan that the Man who attacked Mal in their hometown and the senior at college is the same guy?
Only Mal can talk to that and we haven't brought in Mal or Geet again for corroborating their stories yet, right? So I believe that piece is still open.

The man that stalked Geet carried a smell of freshly peeled oranges. The man that assaulted Mal also carried a smell of lime or lemon.
Should the photos of the guy match from the dead stalker to the college kid?

Great update... still believe Mal is behind the killings and that she killed the stalker too, after knowing who he was...she must have killed Sasha and Anjali due to their deeds/behavior towards Geet

Well you've pieced the investigation beautifully and it does seem that the accused stalker's murder could put Geet & Mal as suspects since if they had knowledge of his supposedly true identity they may resort to the crime and then cook up a story of that fake encounter at bus stop.

Now regarding the incriminated senior's pursuing art & being good enough to classify as professional - also points that he might've been the one - but it does not add up for me coz Mal was the one who ever came as close as possible to stalker then how could she be on cordial terms with him in college without an indication once 😕

I've a feeling Maan & Satya should concentrate on interrogating the deceased senior's friends as to their impressions etc as well as who his gf actually is??

Also Mal's history should be delved deeper & her secrets explored ...

Coz she is the only one who could influence Geet throughout those years- thats my hunch
