Hi Sur
Nice part..!! 😃 very nice ending..👏
Raj has really waited for Naina since a long time. He knows that she'll come to him only and that's why this wait is not making him restless.
Naina is also confused abt her feelings for Raj...She knew that she loves him but she was unable to say so in front of him. He was her teacher, her mentor.
Being with him in such a serene place gave her the courage to reveal her feelings to him and she did it in a very subtle way.
Raj was glad to know that she believes in him and they really belong together.😊
The last line was really cute...Raj at last called her my love..😃A woman's fall
I am penning down another scene from the serial, where Dr. Ritu is killed by Captain Rajveer (for those who expect only RN scenes, this thread is dedicated to CAPTAIN RAJVEER). I think Ritu was an unexplored character who could have been utilized beautifully. She, according to me was the best negative character till the point I followed the show. The equation shared by her and Captain was simply a pleasure to watch, like a game of chess. She was seldom dramatized and was truly beautiful. So this is the scene in my words. I am not expecting many comments on this one, frankly speaking, because I have realized that people rarely look beyond the leads, but if you do find it worth a read, please leave a response. This is perhaps one of the most challenging pieces I have written (took me close to four hours) and would love to get your feedback over it.
Happy Reading!
P.S. I am including only her and Captains POV and thus skipped over Huda.
She reached the end of the corridor and placed the scissors back in the tray she was holding, switching to a harried expression and stride. She knew how to tackle these people well.
"Guard, I just saw a man trying to get upstairs, please check if something is wrong." She spoke in an urgent voice. She needed complete privacy to accomplish her task and that cadet better not butt in. the Guard stared at her doubtfully and she struck again.
"Why the hell are you staring at my face? Go! Check!" she almost screamed, causing the guard to hurry away. Pleased with herself, she turned to the other guard.
"Captain Rajveer is our most important patient. I just hope everything is alright." She threw him one of her smiles before stepping into the ward which held her target.
Her smile dissolved as she took in his sleeping figure. He looked weak, which was good. The story behind how he landed here was rather amusing. She almost felt thankful to the girl who made this so easy for her.
The stout nurse turned around, surprised at the arrival. She picked up the guns which were hidden in plain view and shot her twice, once from each gun. She felt her anger raise its ugly head as she pulled the trigger more than what was required. He woke up from the noise and instantly rolled over away from while she fired on, aiming at the bed and pillows. Bu the time she was done, there were feathers and cotton all around the room and he was nowhere in sight. The guard was slow and by the time he appeared, she was ready for him. He was dead seconds later.
She turned her attention back to her prime target who was evading her vision. Hide and Seek! She loved that game and so did her prey. She moved to the other side, holding her guns ready to fire, a smile playing across her lips. This was the real smile, dangerous and vindictive as opposed to the one she used to charm people.
"Where are you Captain Rajveer? Where are you hiding?" her voice echoed against the walls as she felt her anger bubble. This man had ruined her every plan and humiliated her. She was not used to failure. Her opponent must die.
"Are you being a coward?" she spoke, in an attempt to provoke him. She suddenly moved her vision to the other side from where he rolled out. She raised her guns but he was fast. She never saw the sharp scissors which he aimed at her. It dug itself neatly in her breast and she felt pain shoot in all directions along with the blood. Her breathing was constricted as she felt her knees fold beneath her. Her grip faltered and she landed in the cool floor. She felt the blood drip from her mouth and she smiled slowly, as though complimenting her enemy of his clever move.
He slowly took support of the bed to settle his arms on it so as to see her. The whole exercise was too painful and straining but he willed himself not to faint. It would be equivalent to death and he had errands to run before he could ask for that. He hoisted himself up and continued to look at her while fighting the pain.
He had hoisted himself up on the bed and was observing her with his intense and painful gaze. She almost smiled in a reassured manner, as though saying, "I am fine, don't worry." The pain was astounding; she could feel it disarming her, soaking up her energy. The blood was flowing freely, slowly descending down her white dress. She caught hold of the smooth metal and finally pulled it out from her body, gasping.
He was still breathing heavily, just like her. It was odd the time at which memories chose to strike you. The strangest of memories came rushing back at weirdest of moments. Suddenly, she recalled the time she had walked in on him while he still had soap on his face. A lot of other things followed that, the times they had spent with each other, laughing and sharing. They had never let their guards down in each other's company. They never failed to form their responses appropriately before letting them out. But nevertheless the times were memorable. The time before he realized who she was and before she had actually started working on her plan was a strange memory now. It was an unexplainable bond they shared, as only one was destined to stay. Yet, to see the fight end was somehow melancholic.
He closed his eyes as he felt waves of pain and memories hit him. It was weird, to see all those things flashing in front of his eyes as he tried to stay alive. The woman who had tried to kill him and was a terrorist was lying in front of him, smiling. He couldn't help but think of her the other way. She was a smart, sharp and beautiful lady. For a moment he wondered how it had been if they were not enemies. He had liked her initially before the whole emotional web was weaved. He detested her for what she had done to his friend which had landed him in this mess in the first place. She was one of those major players who had made him into this man. He wondered at the irony- the person he loved had tried to kill him while the one he wished to kill was smiling at him almost lovingly.
He was an intelligent man with a rare sense of emotions and sensitivity. He possessed a sense of humor and his observation was simply great. He was perhaps the kind of man she would love to have in her life if she had been somebody with a usual life and agenda. He was extremely hard to hoodwink which made it fun to play with him. Every move against him was like a challenge she enjoyed immensely. He had made her feel like a woman, even though for a few fabricated moments. Her laughter was genuine when she was with him. She laughed as she thought of those conversations they had shared and felt her respect for her enemy rise a notch higher. But he had to be finished off, right now.
She mustered the last ounce of strength that remained in her body and rose to her feet, aiming with both hands. His eyes widened. She had caught him off guard, but he was not slow to recover from the small amicable moment they had just shared. Sliding off the bed, he wheeled it right into her and collapsed. She tripped backwards into the glass wall which shattered from the impact, the shards digging themselves deep into her.
She felt the searing pain again, but this time there were many origins. The huge piece that jutted out from her breast bone was the first and final confirmation of her end. She laid down her head and waited for the pain to dull away into darkness. Death was a comfort as the last thing she saw before fading away was him resting his head on the cold tile, unable to hold on any longer.
