Hey guys yes I know all or mostly half of you are super mad at me for not updating for so long but I can explain really there are a few reasons
1. well it was my b-day and so I was busy partying everywhere lol
2. I had to do some house work which could not be stalled
3. I finally got a part time job so I've been busy with that
4. I really had no time to type up the part its not even that I have writer block or w.e I have so many part ready in my head I just don't get time to type lol
Yep those are the reasons' and next month my university also starts so updates will be a bit delayed but not to worry about that now :D'.
So before the part starts I just want to thank you all for all the birthday wishes you guys are so sweet and I hope you enjoyed the party and return gift on pg 20.. if you have missed it then go have fun on page 20 :D.. other then that sry for the delay and enjoy the part :D and if anyone missed the promo its on page 17.
Part 20 Meet my best friend :D
Previously both Armaan and Riddhima meet up with two strangers at their work place. And Billy and Anaya are back in town.
Armaan's Cabin:
A: who can this be' they have sent my favourite flowers and my favourite food' who can it be' just as he was about to think he felt his eyes getting covered by two soft hands'. Who is this? Who are you? Armaan asks as he feels the hands above his eyes.
Person: you have to guess that my love. And smiles to her self
Armaan face bursts in to a million sparks and smiles' NIKKI!!!!!!!!!!!!.. he says as he removes her hands from his eyes.
Ni: well done Ammy you still remember me. And here I thought you forgot me already, and pouts.
A: pulls her in to a big hug. Are you kidding me! I can never forget you yaar. And don't forget it was you who left for the world tour not me. And now you come back after 6 months and tell me that I forgot you. Says as he pulls out of the hug.
Ni: I no I no.. but mom and dad really wanted me to stay back with them so I had to stay. And you have forgotten me, I mean you couldn't even wait a little while to get married. What was the rush. I mean you promised me that you will only get married if im around. (stomps her feet and turns her back towards Armaan)
A: arre, yaar. I had to get married ok. Mom and dad left me with no choice what so ever. And I wanted to wait up for you but sometimes things are just not in our hands. Sry naa plz forgive me. And holds his ears and walks in front of nikki.
Nikki is not able to keep and angry face and starts to laugh and pulls Armaans cheeks. Your still as cute as you used to be ammy. And forget all that now tell me something about Mrs. Armaan Malik. Is she also a business women like my self? *(ok guys I don't know if I said that nikki would be a doc in this ff or not. But if I did then sry she wont be a doc she will be working with Armaan in his office)*.
Armaans face drops thinking about his dear wifey.. oh forget her nikki she's not that important. Tell me how ur trip was and the places you saw and everything. And how is uncle and aunty doing?
Ni: oh come on ammy tell me about her naa :(' plzzz' fine at least tell me what she does and her name, you can do that right?
A: rolls his eyes. She's a doctor and her name is Riddhima. Ok happy. Now can we plz stop talking about her.
Ni: oh wow she's a doc ehh that means she's smart. And fine forget her since you are not interested I will find the answers to my questions some other way. Moving on I went to so many European countries and mom and dad are fine just missing you guys. Btw where is Atul and Rahul I want to meet them as well.
A: smiles.. I will call them right now. They will be shocked to see you here.
Atul and Rahul step in to Armaans cabin worried because Armaan told them he has something very important to discuss with them.
Ra: Bhai what is it that you had to discuss?
As Rahul and Atul were about to sit down out jumps Nikki behind the door and says surprise!!! Both Atul and Rahul are bewildered at seeing there friend in front of them and without wasting a second both jump on her and give her a big hug.
At: oye Nikki missed you so much. When did you come back?
Ni: just now. And I missed you guys as well.
Ra: one thing is for sure you have not changed one bit. The same old Nikki as I remember :).
A: hello did everyone forget that im here as well I mean you know I want to be in this hug as well... and makes a sad face.
Ni: awe ammy we can never forget you come and join the hug yaar.
all the friends hug and have a good time'.
Hospital:
as Riddhima is walking along the corridor she is thinking of ways to get Armaan back when she bumps in to a someone. I'm so sorry I was not looking where I was going and'. Sigh' im sorry she looks up to she who she bumped in to and is shocked' TUM!
P: Riddhima!!!!!!!!!!!!
R: Muskaan, wth are you doing here! *ok guys I no you all wanted either sid or abhi to make an entry but don't worry they will make a very big entry when the right time comes :p *
Mu: I'm the new gynec doctor and im joining in today.
R: hugs her' Muski I missed you so much. You don't even know ( sheds a few tears). And how come you never told me that you were coming. You meany gives an angry look to muski as they pull out of the hug.
Mu: oye don't give me that look ok. I should be the one who should be mad. Getting married without my approval. Which idiot's trap did you fall in to this time Ridzi?... and I wanted to give you all a surprise but hayye no one understand me in this world babaji ab app hi bolo main kya karoon ( looks up towards the ceiling and talks)
R: puts her hands on her hips' don't be so extra muski ok. And I called and told you my position on the marriage issue. You know Nani was unwell right I had no other choice. ( and looks down)
Mu: hayye ram. Someone get some knowledge in to this girl' Ridzi yaar I was just joking. Im not mad at you im very happy you got married and are settled now. And how is Nani doing?
R: smiles. She's doing very well. And come on let's go meet di, she will be so happy when she knows your back. And pulls her towards the locker room while asking her a bunch of questions. 1st tell me how did uncle-ji and aunty-ji agree to send you to Mumbai all by ur self. And are they still after you for getting married?
Mu: what to tell you Ridzi, there still after me for marriage and now since your married and anjie is getting married they are after me even more' and don't even get me started on how they agreed to send me here. kitne papad bhelne padhe mujhe and even after all that I had to get Shashank uncle to talk to them and they only agreed after that. And they also put a condition that I have to stay at your house I cant live on my own. Says in a sad tone.
R: bursts out laughing' I can imagine the havoc in your house LOL'. And what's so bad living in my house. Its our house muski don't forget that. If me and di are the daughters of this house then so are you. Your house is mine and my house is yours.
Mu: gets a bit senti.. I no but still I wanted to live alone.
R: well if you like it or not were saving you the rent money and other expenses so be happy'. Riddhima sees anjie walking by so she calls her over. Diii !!!!!!! look who is here' Muski!!!!!!!!!!
Anj: Muski!!!!!!!! OMG I cant believe you are here. Are you here to visit or forever and how is everyone and how are you yaar ( hugs her)
Mu: im fit and fine anjie and im here for while I've got transferred here. And guess what we will be once again room buddies im moving in to ur house.
Anj: kya! That's so cool just like old times.. I cant wait.
R; no fair I don't live there anymore' I want to be room buddies as well. Pouts.
Anj: awe Ridzi don't be sad you can always come visit us. And plus you already have a room buddy who is very hot and happening.
Mu: wht who. What's his name. tell me naa someone.
Anjie is busy laughing her butt of while Riddhima glares at anjie and walks towards her locker while answering muski's questions'. She means Armaan.
Mu: Armaan' now who is he?
R: the guy I got married to muski remember I told you?
Mu: oh ye' Armaan ooohhh what a dreamy name. sigh' so how does he look and when do I get to meet Armaan or should I say jiju ( and winks at Riddhima)
Riddhima slams her locker shut' there is no need to add jiju after his name. Armaan will do. And just drop by the Malik house sometime I will introduce you to him. And starts to lev the locker room when muski makes her sit on the bench.
Mu: so tell me something about him, how does he look what does he like and everything I want to know every single detail. Mostly what happened on the 1st night. ( winks at Riddhima)
Riddhima remembers her 1st night in the Malik house and gets serious. And brushes the questions away and tries to stand up again when muski pulls her down'
Mu; nooo Ridzi tell me naa plz.
R; what yaar muski. I don't know he's a guy and he looks like any other guy, and im not telling you what happened on our 1st night. Privacy naam ki be koi cheez hoti hai.
Mu: lay what is this yaar.. he looks like every other guy' how boring, and I thought here you caught a big hot looking fish... and lets Riddhima's hand go.
R: mhm now can I go home or else my in-laws will get a bad impression on me ( smiles at both anjie and muski)
Mu: ya ya go who's stopping you. And I know you want to meet Armaan' in-laws is just an excuse.
Riddhima rolls her eyes while anjie giggles to her self.
Armaan's office
A: nikki no you cant stay in a hotel when you have our house. I mean mom and dad will chop me alive if they found out your staying in a hotel, that to when you have our house to live in.
Ra: nikki bhai is right in this matter. Not only mom and dad will kill us even uncle and aunty will kill us so plz agree na ( gives the puppy dog face)
At: yep and that way you can be close to all ur best friends. And its safer as well. We wouldn't want you to live on your own in this city. So ur coming no if's and's or but's.
Ni: ok ok I will' god you ppl are so annoying. Im not a 2 yr old that I wont be able to take care of my self. But fine I will still come and stay at ur place until mom and dad don't shift to Mumbai' happy now. ( asks with a frown)
A, At, and Rahul.. all say at the same time. VERY HAPPY !!!!!!!
A: yep so lets go home mom and dad will be so happy to see you.
Ra: and you can meet bhabhi she's so awesome nikki trust me you will make friends with her in no time.
Everyone heads home Riddhima reaches home early and she sees kaka working in the kitchen so she goes in and starts to help him. That way she can also ask him about the issue's between the Malik family members.
Riddhima is very hesitant in to starting this talk she doesn't know where to start or how kaka will react when she asks. Praying a silent prayer she starts her conversation. Umm kaka.. I umm.. I actually wanted to ask you something.
Kaka: of course beta ask me anything you want.
R: umm.. I don't know how to start. You.. you have been working for this family from a very long time right?
Kaka: smiles yep even before Armaan was born. I was at the hospital when both Armaan and Rahul were born and even when Atul joined the family.
R: smiles.. kaka can you tell me how the family is?.. I mean do mom and dad get along with Armaan and Rahul really well or is there the whole generation gap that comes in there way?
Kaka: looks at Riddhima, a bit concerned. Beta is there a reason why you are asking me these questions?.. why you don't think that everyone values each other in this house?
R: ugh.. I don't know but I don't feel any connection between the family members in this house.
Kaka: how can you say that.. beta.. everyone is very happy in this family, you are just over thinking.
R: no im not.. no one is happy in this family, everyone lives there own lives. Mom and dad don't care about Armaan Rahul or Atul jiju , they are leading their own life and the guys are leading their own. Know one knows what is happening in each others life. I mean how can you call this a family?
Kaka; is shocked by the outburst.. and tries to explain to Riddhima. Beta listen.. its not what you think.
R; then what is the right thing kaka?.. a few days ago Rahul told me how both Armaan and Atul jiju and him were neglected in this house and only you were their when they needed someone. I mean how can you call this a family. And even if you do how are they happy?.. I just don't understand, who is right and who is wrong? Am I wrong for believing that no parent is ever that selfish to forget their children, is Rahul wrong for craving the love and importance from his parents, are you right for covering mom and dad's mistakes, are mom and dad right for bringing up their children differently then the rest of the society, or is Armaan right for turning his back to everything that happens in this house? Who's right kaka? Who? ( asks with pure concern and tears in her eyes)
Kaka: puts a comforting hand on Riddhima's head. Shhh don't cry my child. I don't know how to answer your questions beta. But one thing for sure is that this house is not a home, the people who live in this house treat it like one, there's no true happiness, every one is satisfied in their own world and life. But I have seen the loneliness in the kids eyes, no matter how old they get they need and want their parents to stand by them. But I'm in no position to do anything beta I am already under debt for all the favours this family has done. I cant tell bade saab that what he and malkin are doing is wrong.
R: kaka, if anyone who should of stood up then it should have been you, you are like a 2nd father to them, you should of stood up for them kaka. But im not here to blame you or anyone what's done is done. But what we have to do now is fix this and make this house in to a home. We need to bring everyone close together and make this in to a true family. ( turns to where kaka is standing) but I will need your help kaka will you help me reuniting this family and making this house a home?
Kaka: with tears in his eyes .. of course I will be with you beta' after a long time someone has entered this house who thinks of others before her self. Your parents must be so proud to have a daughter like you. God bless you my child god bless you. And kaka leaves the kitchen.
Riddhima is in deep thought when she here's the front door bell ring.
Ding dong''..
A servant opens the door.
A: go call mom and dad fast! He says in a excited tone.
Billy and anni come in to the living room to find Atul Rahul and Armaan laughing away.
B: oye sunny boy.. what's wrong, why did you call us here? Is everything ok?
Ni; yes uncle everything is ok and u were called because im back in town' ( comes out from behind the guys and smiles at Billy)
B: nikki, walks up to her and gives her a fatherly hug. How are you? How was ur trip?
Ni: it was awesome and I'm also fine.
An: that's good to hear. Now tell me all the places you saw and all the shopping you did?
Ni: aunty I did so much shopping not only for me but for all of you as well, especially for my ammy ( smiles at Armaan which Armaan returns with his cute dimple wali smile).
A: so sweet of you nikki and puts his arm around her shoulder. That's when Riddhima enters the living room to see who was at the door and is frozen in her spot.
Riddhima is fuming and burning with anger but she doesn't know why' who is that girl who is stuck to Armaan like that. She doesn't look like a family member. And Armaan has no sister's. then who is she?.. and look at the type of clothes she's wearing I mean the dress is so short at least it should be below her knee's *btw the dress was just above nikki's knee's*' ugh let go of him.. wait a second its Armaan who's holding her' and he calls me the chipkali.. uski toh mein' Riddhima keeps boiling with anger and disgust that she does not notice Rahul calling her.
Ra: bhabhi and nudges her' hello'.
R; huh?.. oh ugh.. yes Rahul what do you want. Asks in a deadly tone.
Ra: looks at Riddhima confused ( what happened to her?) nothing much bhabhi I just want you to meet our best friend nikki.. walks up to nikki and stand beside her. She is mine, Bhai's, champs, and anjie's best friend.
Nikki: smiles and goes up to Riddhima. Hi im nikki.. and you are Riddhima right. You know even before Rahul called you bhabhi I knew you were Riddhima.
R: forcefully smiles at her' hi nikki nice to meet you. And I wonder how you knew me even before Rahul called me.
Ni: oh that's easy. Your dressed in a very casual way so you cant be working here. And you came out of the kitchen and only kaka is allowed in there.
R; so'.?
Ni: soo what. Only a D-I-L would be allowed in the kitchen naa' what a silly question'man ammy you have to teach your wife some common things yaar.
R: excuse me!... how'
Atul who saw the anger rising in Riddhima so he stepped in and told nikki that he will show her her room.
Riddhima goes to her room in a huff and puff she doesn't understand why she is so angry and already hating that nikki.. ugh what is wrong with me. Today is just not a good day. Was it not enough that Armaan was so chipku with her that now she is going to live here. I mean are there no hotels in this world that we have to offer free rooms to everyone.. ugh stomps her feet and goes to the washroom to take a cold shower.
Instalment # 2.
After the shower Riddhima is fuming away, looks like the cold shower did nothing at all to her mood. But pushing aside all that she sits down in front of her laptop surfing the net trying to divert her mind to something more calmer. And also trying to figure out how to get this family back on track.
As Riddhima is staring of in to space that's when Armaan enters the room with a satisfying look on his face and sees Riddhima seated in front of the computer doing nothing at all. Being the curious person he is, he goes and stands behind Riddhima and looks at what she was doing on the computer.
A: bending down so he is at the same level as Riddhima's head'. Hmm "family counselling". Interesting reads Armaan. He notices that Riddhima is still in deep thought so he goes close to her ear and whispers in a husky tone "thinking about me sweet heart?". Riddhima jolts out of her train of thoughts and looks back at Armaan still in the same position.
R: Armaan! you almost scared the day lights out of me' what' what are you doing? ( she asks catching her breath)
Armaan smiles more like smirks' nothing much I was just checking up on you' I always knew you had this wired thing attached to you. And today I was proven right. walks and lies down on the bed.
R: I might as well ask how so? Sits in the chair properly.
A: ( rests his back on the bed rest).. your internet page that was open.. I mean who searches for family counselling??? Really? And laughs to him self.
R: turns pink knowing that Armaan saw what she was looking in to Riddhima tries to defend her self by saying that she was just bored so she typed w.e came to her mind.
A: shocked.. a boring person gets bored as well? Really I never knew that...
Riddhima gives him the killer look and throws a book at Armaan but of course she misses him. Which makes Armaan laugh out really loudly.
R: im not a boring person, and if you think Im boring that y are you here go find someone who is entertaining. Or even better why don't you go to your best friend nikki im sure she will entertain you ( makes a face at the name of nikki)
A: you know your right, I will go. But one thing I want to clear is this "wifey" ( emphasizes on that word) that I did not come to spend time with you, I only came to get my pillow because I cant sleep without it.
R: what you mean you came to get you pillow. Where are you sleeping?
A: with nikki who else'.
R: what???? Your going to sleep with nikki? ( her face is expressionless)
A: yep what's wrong in that. Not only me but Rahul and champ as well. Were all going to have a mini get-to-gather and sleepover cause we met after so long. So later loser, and hope you have fun searching your so called "counselling" on the net. Walks out the door but steps back in the room to tell Riddhima to have a very awful night and wishing her horrible dreams.
Riddhima is outrageous with the behaviour and attitude Armaan is throwing at her and so she decides she will give him a taste of his own medicine. She throws his stuff on the floor and steps on it imagining that she is killing him and stepping all over his face. Ughhh Armaan Malik you are so dead. No one talks to me like that. She was about to throw other things on the floor when she realized that she is just over reacting and that Armaan is not doing all this purposely'. Arre yaar im so stupid, I mean Armaan has always been like this, he doesn't realize the difference between right and wrong. He doesn't know how to trust people because of what happened in his past, so he talks and behaves like that. I should help him see and gain the trust in people again. But that still doesn't mean I like him and his so called best friend. Is nikki ka toh kuch karna he padgha.
She once again sits on her laptop but this time to look at her mails and she sees 2 msgs from her 2 best friends abhi and Sid. That's when she realized that she has not talked to them ever since she got married and they must be worried sick about her. She opens the msgs and sees angry faces and CAPLOG words yelling at her for not calling them after the whole marriage fiasco was over. Feeling guilty she sends and apology letter and details about her life, and how it has changed after marriage. She also includes the news about muski and this new friend nikki and sets a time to talk to them either on the phone or online. Feeling satisfied with the letter she heads of to sleep to think about how to make this house in to a home. She tries to sleep but as she closes her eyes, pictures of nikki and Armaan flash in front of her. How close they were today, and how his hands were around her, and also how nikki was adored by the whole family. Cursing her mind, Armaan, nikki and her life she slowly drifts of to sleep.
Morning
Ra: bhabhi? ( knocks on the door) can I come in?
Come in Rahul.
Bhabhi I need a small favour from you. Actually the thing is we are having a very important fashion meeting in office today and the client are very keen on the way people dress.
Ok so how can I help in that Rahul?
Bhai he is the problem you know how he is when it comes to fashion and clothes' a total disaster. And if he wears something wired today then we will surly lose this deal. That's why I want you to make sure he wears proper clothes today and he looks like the CEO of the dam company.
Riddhima is giggling away. Haan Rahul one thing is for sure ur brother has no sense when it comes to picking his clothes. 1st I thought it was just one day but then ( laughs to her self).
Bhabhi' this is not funny ok' you have to help please he wont listen to me so can you please help.
Ok ok why are you being so desperate I will choose for him. Wait I will choose right now and that way you can tell me if its good or not.

Riddhima goes and searches Armaan's closet to find at least one nice combination, but if she found nice shirts then she couldn't find matching pants, and if both then no blazer to go with it. Ufff Armaan be naa. I tell you not one proper match, how can he live with being a total wreck like this. I will certainly have to change his wardrobe and that to soon .
Ya ya Bhabhi do that later, but 1st this problem. How bout this shirt. ( he pulls out a dark purple shirt)

Ra: Umm grey
R: No Armaan doesn't like grey make it black and were done
Ra: done deal bhabhi thanks so much. Make sure Bhai wears this ok. And im impressed bhabhi you know bhabhi likes and dislikes already.. nice nice'
R: be quite and I will make sure he wears this' ( and gets back to her work)
Ra: Waittt
R: Stops in her tracks and looks at Rahul.. kya hua Rahul?
Ra: Tie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
R what am I tying?
Ra: no no a tie a suit needs a tie. And before you come up with a solution Bhai hates to wear a tie so good luck in convincing him for that' and thanks once again Bhabhi you're the best one I have.
R: but wait' ( but it was to late Rahul was out the door)' I'm the only one you have as of now' uff Rahul bhi naa ' and how hard can it be to convince Armaan to wear a tie. Meh easy'
Armaan wth is wrong with you why cant you wear this tie, if you don't wear it this whole outfit looks ugh ugly' so come on stop being a big fat baby and wear this dam tie! ( yells a frustrated Riddhima)
A: no' forget the tie I hate them they feel like dog collars so im not wearing one. And I thought we made a deal to not touch and interfere in each others matters. What happened to that?
R: that was only your deal I don't remember any part of me actually agreeing with you. And plus raat gayi so baat gayi and throws the tie on his face. Put it on and go to work or else dad will yell at you and you will lose this deal.
A: who told you about this deal in the first place. I will murder them I swear. And i'm not wearing this yaar.
R: look your so lucky im in a good mood this morning so don't get on my nerves and do as I say or else I will chop you in to a million bits and feed you to the dogs. ( goes in front of the mirror to fix her hair)
A: feed you to the dogs' humph' goes in side the washroom to tie the tie. So how do you tie this thing.. one loop then the next and ouch shit *cough cough*' forget you'. And throws the tie on the floor. 1st of all I don't know how to tie a tie and then I get forced to do something I hate and don't know how to do. stupid tie.
R: Armaan what are you doing in the washroom open up' I need to get my lab coat'. And rests her head on the door.
A: opens the door with a jerk. And because of the sudden jerk Riddhima loses her balance, however Armaan catches her just before she hits the floor and brings her closer to him.
A: sorry that was my fault. And looks at Riddhima and helps her stand straight
Armaan also leaves for work, somewhat satisfied with his morning. And also ready to make those clients conform the deal with their company.
She also thinks the best way to accomplish her home plan is by first to get Armaan to become her friend and to trust her and if she can do that then she can also make him re-connect with the family. which would also be working on mom and dad. And as long as Nikki is concerned she will be put on the pending list for now. Because making friendship with Armaan is more important.
So how did you like the part guys.. yeh it was boring I know sry' but I hope you guys like the fact that Riddhima is starting to have feelings for Armaan and she will try to become his friend. And in the upcoming parts see how far Riddhima get jealous :).
