Chapter XIV
Piya woke up in morning before everyone woke and found a
message on her cell phone. It was abhay asking her to come and meet at 6:00am near the swimming pool. She saw that aleena was nowhere to be seen and she thought that aleena must have gone to meet abhay too. She quickly changed her
clothes and left the room without making any noise so that misha also wakes up.
She saw abhay sitting on one of the recliners in his tee
and cargo. She went near him and also sat on the next one.
Piya: why did u call me…? Something important…. Where's aleena?
Abhay: no nothing's important…. By the way…. Aleena has gone for jogging (though she was out for hunting)…. Just wanna ask…. How are u feeling?
Piya: perfectly fine…. And thanks for saving me…. Please don't tell anyone about this…. I trust u a lot…. Maybe more than anyone…. I don't know why…. But I do…. Just shut this thing now only…. Will u do for…me…?
Abhay: of course…. But I have already told this thing to aleena but I asked her not to open her mouth till I ask…. She would sure keep this up…. And u can trust me…. I won't tell this to a single soul….
Piya: abhay….
Abhay: hmmm…
Piya: abhay, you are an angel in disguise…. Guardian angel….
Abhay (to himself); what an irony...I am a monster…. Or a devil…. But I will always guard you….my love….
Abhay: you too are an angel….
Piya was watching the water in the swimming pool and a
brilliant idea struck her.
Piya: let's swim…. What say….?
Abhay: good idea….
Piya; ok…. Then meet me here again after 10 minutes…. Change and come soon….
Abhay nodded and went to his room and changed his
clothes. Piya also went in her room and changed her clothes into a swimsuit.
She quickly put her Capri and top on it went back to the swimming pool. When she reached back there, she saw abhay inside the water.
The slow music was beautifully fitting in the atmosphere.
She could see the waves hitting against abhay's beautifully toned body. He was looking like a Greek god in liquid gold as the sunrays were falling on the water and dancing on its surface. She wasn't able to take off her eyes from him and abhay could feel it.
Abhay with his rarest flaunting smile: will you spend your whole lifetime standing and staring me there only…. I know I am hot…. I take your senses but you can't blame me…. Have you made any plans to come inside…. Miss curly head….
Piya: no…. I mean yes…. I am coming….
Abhay: that's better….
Piya took her Capri and top off and she was now in her
swimsuit. She was looking so irresistible and breathtaking that it was so difficult for abhay to be in his senses though being 3 century old vampire. She was a little vixen who was driving him crazy unknowingly. Yet her beauty and simplicity were her biggest assets.
Piya slowly stepped in the water and started swimming far
better than before. She swam for few minutes and then came near abhay who was just standing in water watching her activities quietly.
Piya: how was I swimming…? Was it good…?
Abhay: it was brilliant…. U swim like a pro….
Piya: then let's race…. Will u?
Abhay: u will lose…. I am an ace swimmer and you are a beginner….
Piya: let's see….
Abhay: challenge… I love them….
Both of them take their positions and started the race.
There was no doubt that abhay will let piya win and it happened. He let her win by just one second. She was jumping with joy and laughing. Piya's giggles were like a soft music which were continuously enchanting abhay.
Piya: see I won…. Now… who is an ace swimmer…. You lost it to a beginner…. What happened abhay…. U loved challenges nah….. Then….
Abhay: I let u win…. I thought u will be heartbroken so I let u win…
Piya: excuses….. Not gonna work….
Piya splashed some water on abhay with her hand and started giggling. Abhay also splashed water on her. They spent some time giggling and laughing with each other unknowingly that aleena and misha were watching them from the window of their room. They were also happy that their friends were happy with each other. Both decided to go and catch them red
handed with each other.
Piya asked abhay to go back as everyone would be waking
up. Both of them went near the staircase to climb up. Abhay let piya go first. Piya climbed to steps but her feet slipped on the third one and she fell in abhay's strong arms carefully catching her. Both shared an eyelock for sometime but then piya broke it and released herself. She tried to go but her bracelet got stuck with abhay's watch. She tried to release it but failed. Abhay helped her and freed her bracelet. He slowly lifted his hand and gently removed a strand of piya's hair which was continuously troubling her. Both were still enlaced in each other's eyes but this beautiful moment was spoilt by misha and aleena who came and disturbed them.
Misha: ahem… ahem… guys go get a room… this is public… kahin bhi shuru ho jaate ho…. Sharam nahi aati….
Aleena:bro…. piya…. Kya kar rahe ho ek saath….
Piya (still blushing): kuch nahi…. Bas swimming karke jaa rahe
they…
Abhay:waise…. Tum dono yahaan kya kar rahe ho….
Misha:dude…. Common sense….. Kabhi toh use Kara karo…. Yaa phir hai hi nahi….. Swimming karne aaye they….
Abhay: whatever…. We are leaving….
Aleena: piya…. Kab aayi yahaan par…
Piya: bas thodi der pehle….
Aleena: toh phir thodi der aur…. Hum bhi aa rahe hain…. Aur bro tum bhi…. You also stay….
Abhay: ok….
Both aleena and misha joined piya and abhay in the water.
All of them were having a great time with each other, it was an ultimate fun. Abhay was also happy to be able to spend time with piya while piya also falling harder for abhay with every second passing with him. She couldn't believe herself that how abhay was becoming an eminent part of her world. He was her
friend, angel, and confidant and moreover her… SOULMATE. Abhay had been for her every time she needed someone to be with her. She could feel that he was the one about whom her mother tried to tell in her dream…. That SPECIAL person.
Piya was like the only light in abhay's dark life and he was happy to have her with him but he would never let piya enter in his dark world. She would always be in light and he would ensure it. He would never let the supernatural world cross path with her tiny world of happiness and joy. But none knew that destiny had something else stored for piya which piya herself didn't know. She was destined be the most powerful creature over the earth…. It was only time which was needed to realize it.
All of them came out of the water after having fun when
panchi forced them to come out. They came out and went to their rooms to change and take bath. After taking bath they took their breakfast and left the resort for a business workshop held in a hotel in mussorie. They attended the workshop and then went for shopping.
Piya bought some handbags, key rings and bracelets for
herself. She bought a stylish scarf for aleena and a cute purse of panchi. She also gifted a mask to misha which would help her to scare people. She also bought a cute antique necklace for madhu and a shawl for Aunt Martha. She bought a nice leather jacket for jay but she secretly bought a beautiful brooch for abhay which she decided to gift him when he was alone. She wrapped it in a beautiful wrapper and quickly kept in her handbag.
Abhay bought a beautiful necklace for piya which had a
large deep blue diamond with small diamonds surrounding it. It was as priceless as piya may be less for abhay but it was really unique as if it was only for her. He also bought and kept in his pocket and decides to gift her when he would meet her alone. He asked the shopkeeper to keep it in an antique box and wrap
it and fix a cute ribbon over it.
Aleena gifted piya a perfume which was really nice. While
panchi gifted piya a novel, interview with the vampire by Anne rice because she knew that piya was very much interested in supernatural. Panchi could easily see this because the night when piya stayed in dobriyal house, she was very much
attracted to her father's books which mostly consisted of supernatural novels. Kabir especially bought a beautiful diamond embedded bracelet for piya which he wrapped and kept in his pocket.
All the students went back to the resort and took their
lunch. All of them were now busy in different works now. Misha was busy in watching TV while aleena was busy in reading a magazine in the lobby. Piya was listening music on her iPod and was reading the book panchi had gifted her. She
could hardly read two or three pages and Kabir called her to meet in the garden. She quickly kept that book back in her bag and went to meet Kabir. She had taken a beautiful key ring with her to gift him. When she saw Kabir she quickly
gifted him that key ring.
Piya (while handing the key ring): this is for you Kabir…. Hope u like it….
Kabir: it's beautiful…. Just like you…. Thanks for this….
Piya: why did you call me…?
Kabir (took the wrapped bracelet out from his pocket): to give you this…. This is for you… open this (while handing it to piya)
Piya opened the wrapper and found a diamond bracelet on
which it was written K and P entwined in each other. Piya saw it in one glace and thought it was written Aand P.
Piya: it's beautiful…. Really thanks but I can't keep it…. It's expensive…. Really…. Kabir this is really very much…. U didn't need to do this...
Kabir: you're welcome…. But this is for you… and u have to keep it… and I have to tell u something….
Piya: go ahead… feel free…. U are my buddy….
Kabir: actually…. Piya… I don't know…. This is right or not but… I have fallen for you… I feel like I love you….
Piya (not trying to be rude but plain): Kabir…. Please try and understand…. I really treat you like a friend…. I love you as a friend and I am not in love with you… I never felt for you more than as a friend…. You were my friend…. You
are and you always will be my friend only….
Kabir: but you can still give me a chance… I
know it will be always abhay but still….
Piya: see Kabir I really don't understand that why do you always pull abhay in our conversation… its totally you and me…. Whatever is between me and abhay is not your business so don't comment on it…. Rahi baat tumhari aur meri toh you are
only a sweet friend of mine… I would keep this bracelet till you remain in your limits or otherwise take it….
Kabir: fine… piya… I will still try to gain your heart….
Piya said nothing and went back to her room while Kabir
stood there trying to calm himself. Both of them didn't know that abhay was listening their conversation for a distance with a smile pasted on his marble face.

Writing this chapter was a real fun, I wanted that piya must start reading some supernatural to link it with abhay…. Next chapter would be totally on ABHAY & PIYA and WITCH….
A witch is going to enter in the scenario so stay tuned….
Will the witch be good or evil? Will it harm abhay and piya? Or will it help them? What's the mystery of piya and most powerful creature of the world?
