Hello Everyone...

Me back from vacation but as mentioned in my recent update on my FF JCL, I am still in middle of so many things...hence slow with the updates...please bare with me...

I have following notes...

1) Thanks for all your comments and likings for Part 50...Many of you have raised a question till when will this cold war continue between Maneet. Would like to remind you that as per the story, its just 3 days since Geet got the final blow from Maan and hence Geet has to be given enough time and space ...isnt it? This is not only a passing phase but also turn out to be a turning point in Maneet's relationship...hence bare with me.

2) I have noticed many of the new readers have raised some questions especially about Geet's past. Please read the complete story (From Part 1-37, Thread 1) to know about Geet's past. I have shared the link on the first page of this thread. That will answer all your confusions.

Posting Part 51

Part 51:

She leaves from the office to sort out next problem...her university fees.

She takes her mobile to check with her Appa...Oh no...he's still paying the loan amount which he had taken from his bank for reconstructing our house in Bangalore. And he's saving for Rajji's education and future...Appa will never say no...but why to trouble him and that too at month end. Let me talk to the Dean and request for some more time and see.

She gets into Dean's room...

Sir...I got a call from your administrator. It was a reminder to pay my semistar fees. Sir..I am sorry I will not be able to pay the fees within two days...

Geetika...

Sir atleast give me a week's time. I'll arrange for the full money.

Geetika...its ok relax...you need not arrange the full money. Just arrange for 25% of the amount.

What?

Yes my dear...There's a good news for you. One of our lead sponser has selected 3 students for a scholarship program and you are one among them.

Sir...really? Geet is excited.

Yes...and you need to pay only 25% of the fees for all the semistars.

For All semistars? She is super excited now.

Hmmm...and you know something...this person wanted to sponsor with effect from first semistar itself...where as other sponsors dont do that.

Geet thinks for a while...Sir...May I know the sponsor name?

He has requested us to keep it confidential.

No issues...please do convey my THANKS to him. She thinks for a while...I really wonder if this world still has such good people around who think about others.

Geetika, you know the answer...every person has a good and bad person hidden within...Its left to our view and perspective how we see people.

Geet is in a fix...she is not able to say NO now and she is not in a mindset to prepare for such an event. She's rolling her eyes and unable to decide what to do.

Geet leaves...The Dean calls someone's mobile

Mr. Khurana..the task is successfully implemented. Geet is at all praise for the person who has sponsored students including her.

But Mr. Khurana...You and Savithri Deviji have contributed a lot towards Delhi University student's development but this time I am curious to know why are you willing to keep your name confidential? If I understand, Geetika works for Khurana Constructions and reports to you. Is there any tiff between you both?

Actually...Maan remains silent for a while...Nothing like that...I have to admit there has been mistake from my side...just trying to cover up. I once again request you to keep it confidential. Thank You once again.

Maan finishes his talk with the Dean. He's actually parked his car somewhere close to the university and waiting for Geet. Its almost 7:00 PM when Geet walks out of the university. Maan follows her intending to find the right time and place to talk to her.

Geet gets a call from Pinky.

Oye Geet...what happened in University? Did they extend the time?

Pinky there's a good news...I have been awarded scholarship and hence I just need to pay 25% of the fees...I have taken two days time from the dean.

Hey that's a great news yaar...you deserve it.

I am waiting to come back home and call Appa-Amma to give this news...they will be so happy to hear this...

Geet..that simply south restaurant is on the way right...please bring me 2 paks of Masala Dosas...Please yaar

Geet cuts the call and makes her way to simply south restaurant. Maan has been blindly following her. She gets into that restaurant and places the order. She didnt look back...Maan got into that restaurant and waiting for her till she finishes. He takes his seat close to the door.

Geet smiles weakly...Avar Varalai (He's not come with me this time)

"What is this? Are you trying to seduce me in such a way? I am not such a person who entertains all this...remember that. By giving you some independence and space...and by accompanying you to that south Indian restaurant...you cannot take that as an advantage."

Geet closes her eyes for a sec... Enough of bad name I have already earned...He might have come here for some other reason...why I should even bother. She preferred to ignore him, passes by him and leaves from there and she is out of the restaurant...

Geet is fighting with herself...you should have atleast given a smile to him...this is not fair...Why why should I? He will again find reasons to accuse me that I am taking advantage of him...Pinky was right when she said about high class people and their preferences...so leave it the way it is..

Maan follows her again and runs to her and manages to stop her.

She turns to look at him with moist eyes... Sir...What have I done now? Its again a coincidence that we got to meet in that restaurant...he keeps his index finger on her lips guesturing her to keep quite and listen to him first...She closes her eyes doesnt want to look at him.

Geet I need to talk to you and that's the reason I am here as I am not able to talk to you in office atmosphere.

She remains quite not looking at him...

He takes a long breath and continues...I know I have hurt you so much...my harsh words cannot be forgiven or forgotten easily...

Geet closes her eyes authoritating her tears to stay controlled within her eyes but she couldnt control any further.

But why are you not taking it out on me? Scream at me...you are most welcome to repeat those abusive words back against me...But please dont remain silent...I am not able to take it...You punishing yourself instead of punishing me...why Geet?

SIR...I am not angry on anybody...but on myself because I blindly trusted few people in my life including...Geet stops again controlling the tears in her eyes. Maan looks at her understanding what she's referring to.

She takes a deep breath this time...you were once telling me and now I realise how correct you were...its better to maintain a safe distance...so let it be so.

Geet leaves from there without even looking at him for once...and Maan stood there till the time she disappeared from his view

At KM...Maan gets back home and gets into Daadi's room straight away

Daadima..

Arre Maan bete...kya hua?

Daadima...I was not able to get my apologies from Geet...and even she is not taking her anger on me..

Daadima holds her hand on his shoulder...I told you na..its not as easy...but its not impossible...if not today, for sure in next few days she will give in...she needs time and space...try to understand her state of mind...

Ji Daadima...I am the one who is answerable for her current state of mind... and bends down his head

Take it easy Maan...go change yourself and get ready for the dinner..Time is the best healer so leave it on time now.

Next day at KC...

Geet starts her day as usual...Geet passes by Pinky when she called for her...

Geet, I need the travels file from the top of this rack...I am not able to reach it even with the help of this stool...I am sure you can take it out for me as you are much taller than me.

Geet stands on the stool and trying her best to reach that file...she did manage to reach that file but lost balance...She found someone helping her out by holding her hand and her waist...she turns to look at that person and shocked to see her boss...she lost further control and fell on him in such a way where both their cheeks rub with each other.

She slowly lifts her face to look at him...She is not able to decide to say thanks or sorry...and she lost further track once she gets to look into his deep eyes...The eyelock continued till the time they realised that the rest of the staff have gathered and looking at them

Way back to reception, Maan yells at the crowd...What are you all doing here...I am not paying you for sight seeing...get back to work

Maan gets into his cabin and sees his hot mug of coffee placed in the tea coaster. He immediately looks thro the slides...Geet also looked at him and immediately looked else where..

Aadi walks into Geet's room...

Good Morning Aadi Sir...

Sir...I would like to share a good news...I have been awarded a scholarship by my university...I have to pay only 25% of the fees for all the semistars.

Aadi understood that its Maan Sir who has contributed to it...Wow Geet...That's a very good news...congrats!

Pinky escorts them towards the meeting room...

No Thanks...He turns to Pinky again...Hey baby, please take us to the meeting room and Madam Sasha, why dont you attend to the reception calls till the time Pinky takes us to the meeting room...hmm?

Sasha..mera matlab hain maam...what are you planning to do now? Boss has clearly told that you will do the presentation only if bring in the copy of Geet's Business planning report...And now...Manish and Romesh Sir is here as they had alerted yesterday...and...

Oh Tasha...C'mon...What can MK do at this point of time? He is left with no other option...you see he will now plead to me in front of these client to give them a presentation...does MK have any choice? Sasha answers with over confidence.

At the meeting room...

Maan and rest of the team enter one by one...

Hey Maan Darling...how are you? I hope you have made the necessary presentation.

Maan just answers with Hmm...

Manish shakes hand with Geet...How are you baby?

I'm fine sir...She gives a weak smile...

Maan and Geet happen to steal glances every now and then.

So, Maan Darling...shall we start with the presentation?

Sasha turns to look at Tasha and winks at her...anticipating that Maan has no other choice left.

Manishah I mean Manish Shah ji...the presentation is ready...

And I hope you are not getting the presentation thro "cartoon vampires"...referring to Sasha...

Manish ji...why are you getting unnecessarily tensed...I promised you that the right presentation will be ready by the time you enter to our office this morning right? Here it goes...

Aadi..is the projector ready?

Sasha is confused now...Tasha, what is this presentation all about? How did MK managed to do the presentation by himself.

Aadi sets on the projector...and Maan starts with the slide show...

I have 3 options for you to choose from...

Geet turns to look at it...and she is shocked to see the same details which she had passed it on to her boss in the same meeting room that day...and more surprisingly, that has been transformed into a neat project presentation...She is wondering how come this project is been presented here and not able to understand anything.

Manish Shah is so excited...Wow...I came here for one presentation and I am going to get 3 different options now...That's amazing...please go ahead...I am eagerly waiting.

Sure...Geet will do the presentation as she is the one who had prepared it.

Everyone in the meeting room are surprised...Sasha-Tasha looking at each other and fuming. Manish and Romesh are super excited that finally Geet is the one who is presenting the project.

Geet slowly stands up unable to understand what to do...

Aadi puls her down and wispers in her ears...

Geet...this is your project..

But Aadi sir...

Remember the report which you gave during the staff meeting on that day? Maan sir had it and he asked me to make a project presentation out of it...

So, Sir didnt trash it to the bin on that day...why did'nt he? Did he still have some trust in me? She looks at Maan with amusement...And maan visually guestures her to do the presentation.

What are you thinking? You know each and every detail of this presentation...so go ahead..

Geet wispers back to Aadi Sir...Sir...I had prepared it almost 15-20 days back...and dont remember many things..

Aadi gives the set of reports back to Geet which she had prepared on that day and he has prepared today's presentation based on the same.

I think now you can present it very well...so go ahead...All the best!

Manish yells...Oh baby...fast...I am waiting to see your presentation...hurry up!

Geet stands up to give the presentation...she's initially confused how to begin but then she managed it very well and then no looking back for her.

I have prepared the project with 3 different options...option one-300 crs investment, option two ' 500 crores investment, option three ' 1000 crores investment.

She goes on with the presentation and it was a eye opener fo Manish and Romesh...they could clearly follow the different levels of investments...And all people present in the meeting room were mesmerised with the presentation she gave...Especially Maan

I would conclude with the following...option one is the cheapest but doesnt cover many areas...you have to compromise on various aspects...Option three is the most expensive one...where you are unnessarily investing on hy-fy things which are not necessary...and more over the returns are low. I understand you are prepared to invest this much but it will simply turn out to be an economical waste. Now coming to option 2, this suits you the best...you can go thro the report and then decide...

There was a pin drop silence for a minute and then an applause from Manish and a big aplouse followed by every one

Hey baby...that was a wonderful presentation...much much more than I had ever expected.

Maan was equally impressed...Aadi was all smiling and ofcourse Sasha-Tasha fuming with jealousy.

Thank You sir...Please note that the factors taken into consideration can be changed from time to time...for example...500 crores can go down to 400 crores or can go high to 600 crores...the exact report will be given to you later after you make your choices and explain your likes and dislikes...I hope you understand what I mean!

Its ok dear...will go thro this report and come back to you with what all additional modifications can be done...hmm?

Manish Hugs Maan and kisses him on his cheek...Maan Darling...you have impressed me today...You have proved your promise today...that's really sweet of you.

She turns around...Sir...I just did my duty...that's it...She again gives a weak smile and leaves from the meeting room.

Sasha leaves from the meeting room as well and Tasha followed her...her presence was not addressed in the first place...so Maan and Aadi didnt even bother when she got into the meeting room and when she left.

Aadi...You did a great work with the powerpoint presentation...

SS...Sir...I exactly did what you asked me to do...The true credit goes to Geet...AA...nd I am glad that she gave the presentation...And I am also sure that she will soon come back to her normal terms.

I hope she does...Maan pats on Aadi's shoulder and leaves from there.
