Armaan sat sulking in the passenger seat next to the driver where as Riddhima was sitting in the back seat sleeping peacefully. Riddhima had not allowed him to get in the back seat to sit with her. this was how she took revenge on him for teasing her earlier in the room. he had no other option left but to sit in the front as his in-laws were stifling their laughs seeing his pleading face to let him get in the back seat, but she did not oblige and ignored all his pleas. He turned back and saw her sleeping like an angel and wanted to sit next to her and cuddle her in his arms. Suddenly he thought of an idea and told the driver to stop the car near a dhaba just as an excuse. They stopped near the dhaba and had a cup of tea and when returned back to the car Armaan made a tiring face and gave a fake yawn and said that he would sit back as he was feeling sleepy and sat in the back seat and again they drove away on the highway. After sometime he shifted slowly towards her and kept his head on her lap and turned to her side and tried to sleep. Riddhima felt some disturbing movements on her lap and tried to shoo it away and pushed him from his face a little and again dozed off. He frowned when she pushed him and once again shifted his face close to her belly and buried his face in her abdomen and caught her waist in one hand. When he did that she automatically as if recognizing his touch this time, put her hands in his hair and caressed his head. He loved this gesture of hers and both had a graceful smile on their lips and dozed off.
After an hour, their sleep was disturbed due to the bad road and they were bumping. Riddhima woke up and saw the road condition and understood the jerking and saw that Armaan was sleeping in her lap like a small baby but was getting disturbed due to the bad road and she caught his head in her hand to avoid the jumping to atleast a certain extent and asked the driver how far were they still. He told her that it was a bypass road and would take another 1 to 1 and a half hour. She did not feel like sleeping and looked outside the window. While gazing outside the window, she felt him nuzzling his head in her tummy and realized that he was wide awake and smacked his head and threw it away.
Armaan: oww,'''''' kitna marti ho tum.
Riddhima: tum aise harkate karte hi kyu ho.
Armaan: kya kiya maine.
Riddhima: tch tch tch jaise ke tumhe pata nahi. She glared at him.
He gave a sly smile and sat properly and the whole way he teased her silently without the driver noticing them, and she reprimanded him from doing that by glaring at him. he sometimes tickled her, sometimes pulled her dupatta, tried shifting near her, tried to put his arms around her and so on.
They reached the village and both got out and looked damn tired. She looked around and had a pleasant smile seeing the atmosphere there. She saw a very big haveli in the front. She turned to Armaan and saw him looking around with his hands in his pocket. She went near him and caught his arm. He turned to see her standing gaping at the view. He smiled and pressed her hand with his other hand. They both moved in while the driver got their luggage out.
Armaan's sister, Tanu saw them walking inside and immediately ran to him shouting to inform others that Armaan had arrived. She hugged him tightly as she was seeing him after a long time and in the meantime all others came out. Riddhima saw some people coming outside, among whom she could only find Armaan's parents, muskaan, Rahul and ruhan whom she knew. She saw them and walked to them and took their blessings and was talking to muskaan and Rahul while taking Ruhan in her arms who was desperately shouting calling her angel. When all the greetings were done and Armaan was left free, he was talking to his family and in the meantime all had walked in and sitting in the main hall. Till now no one had noticed Riddhima when suddenly Tanu raised a question asking, "Armaan bhaiya, who is this girl?" then all their gaze fell on Riddhima who grew nervous.

Ananya and others looked at each other and after a pause Ananya broke the silence and told every one "yeh Riddhima hai, Armaan ki patni" as soon as she announced it there was pin drop silence and saw all the shocked faces. Suddenly Armaan's chachi spoke, "wah bhabhi, jab maine Sheena ki baat aapse ki toh aap ne bataya ki Armaan abhi pad raha hai aur shaadi nahi karna chahta, lekin ab toh bina padayi pure kiye hi aapne shaadi karadi aur voh bhi kisiko bataya bhi nahi."
Aisa nahi hai Maya, wo sab kuch itni jaldi hogaya aur haalat aisa tha toh hum kuch kar nahi paye.
kaisi halaat bhabhi , questioned Maya.
As Ananya was about to answer her questions, Armaan interrupted them and answered her in a stern voice saying that "halaat ye tha ki maine zid ki thi Riddhima se shaadi karne ke liye, kyunki main aur Riddhima ek dusre se pyaar karte the aur unki ghar main pata chal ne ke baad kuch problems ki vajah se hamein jaldbazi main shaadi karni padi bas. milgayi aapko jawab ya phir aur kuch baki hai puchne ke liye." he spoke angrily. he did not like his mother being questioned like that. after hearing his stern voice all kept silent where as his chachi made faces and was eyeing Riddhima who was looking down.
when silence prevailed the hall, dadi interrupted saying, "acha chalo jo hua vo hogaya, ab aage ka dekhenge. ab shaadi ka ghar hai toh zyada kaam pada hai, aur tu, she pointed towards Armaan, tu pehle bata nahi sakta tha kya, kam se kam hum bahu ko theek se swagat toh karte. she went near them and when Ananya signed them to take their blessings, Armaan and Riddhima bent down to touch her feet and then dadi blessed them saying "jeeti raho, jaldi se ek pota ya poti ko dedo" Riddhima and Armaan both blushed hearing it and all others were sniggering looking at them except Rachna and Sheena who were looking at them getting annoyed.
