I saw Khushi enter the office.I dont know what was i thinking yesterday.Maybe it slipped out of my mind or i wanted to show her that she was attracted to me equally.I just felt stupid at that moment.In plain words,it was a stupidity whose consequences had to be faced.I could sense her coming.Urgh.I quickly opened a file as if i was reading it.Thanks to my efficiency,i always told her what work was on her before hand,thus it gave her a chance to not come in my cabin.We didnt really talk in the office but we had countless eye contacts,but she always ended them.

Thank god these days there was less work load.I went home at around 2 but the day hadnt ended yet.I had to face her at practise.Oh between,why am i acting so girly?

I entered Parm's house.I saw her sitting on a sofa,Then she saw me,Quickly got up and starting dancing with akshay.

When i went up to her.

"you see,we both are bad dancers,so i thought this might help.Payal can help u as ur partner and akshay can help me?what do u say"

"fine."

We all danced.And when finally when we were passed as good dancers by Parm we were asked to enjoy as the event was finally happenin tommorrow.

Everybody was kinda partying when i texted her

"Come outside,We need to talk.No i am not taking an excuse for not coming.Waiting"

I knew she would come.She came hurriedly to me.

"Look Arnav,Why are you doing this?We talked yesterday and i think we decided its a no for us"

"Yes but we both said it half-heartedly"

"What is wrong with you?why are u always so judgemental about me?How do you know that i didn't mean what i said?"

"you really do believe in chick flicks dont you?"

"what?"

"Guys keeps staring at girls,Long eye locks,Background music.Do you think church bells will ring to tell u that you like?Its not like that?In films,they go straight on love whereas i am saying to take it slow.Lets start dating and see where it takes us."

"nobody's asking you too,Because you don't know where this will take us"

"Arnav,i have had it.Can we end this and concentrate on other things.Let it go,seriously"

"Look,i am not a filmy hero that i will wait all my life.I will have to move on sooner or later.I can wait till the wedding ends,not more then that."

Finallly the day was here.When she entered the hall,time stopped for me.

She was wearing a Red Katan silk top features with amazing floral embroidery all over the shirt with Thick neckline border and a Red crepe silk lehenga was accompanying the shirt.

I saw her eyeing me and she passed a smile at me.She was so easy to read,it had became my fav hobby.

I went up to her.

"You look gorgeeous"

"Thankyou,but I didn't knew sherwani suited you so much"

"My my'Am I sensing a compliment"

"Kind of'." And she walked past by me.

These girls na..Always showing attitude.What will they do once the guy decides to give a piece of their attitude.Let me tell you,they'll start crying like little babies.Ugh

Khushi got tired of dancing so went to sit and rest for a while when Salil,Parm's elder brother came up to her.

"you dance really well",Said the man.

"really?you think so or is that a lame attempt to hit on me"

"No,that was not flirting.I am just bored because my wifey's mood is off for some reason.Maybe its her hormones or whatever,I just want some company"

"ahhaha,god,I am so stupid,I dunno why I thought that you were hitting on me,So,your wife'."

When I couldn't dance anymore,My eyes started looking for her.I got so lost in the dance that I almost forgot about her.Waow,I was improving in this field.But then I saw her chatting with that guy.I just told her that she has some time,that didn't mean she could go around talking to other guys.And he wasn't even a guy,he looked like a uncle.What was wrong with Khushi.

I went up to them.

"Excuse me"

"yes" said Khushi

"what are you doing"

"Making popcorns,want some?Can't you see,I am in a serious talk with someone.Now would you please..."

"Excuse me",I said "But sir I think she urgently needs to come with me.Actually I am her boss and there's a serious issue we need to discuss about that file,I cant find it anywhere"

Salil left.

"What the'.",said Khushi

"It's simple.You don't get to talk to random strange guys until we talk this out.You get that"

"And here we go again.The relationship hasn't even started and look at you.All ready to eat me alive"

"Because you are a pain in the ass but I dunno why I still want us to try"

"I thought we had dropped this conversation"

"What are you running away from Khushi.From being hurt?It doesn't has to be that way.Come on"

"I need a drink"

And she left
