Ranveer gets brutally slammed for mocking Chavundi Daiva

The deep timbre of his voice struck more painful memories, how he'd used it to make her believe he loved her, those intimate murmurs in her ears, reinforced by how he'd touched her, kissed her. A flood of heat raced up her neck and scorched her cheeks — shame at having let him reminds her of how it had, once been between them.
Maan came toward her. So strange. Her heart was breaking all over again. Her heart bumped painfully against her ribs. It shouldn't be like this, shouldn't feel like this, not after all these years... He is her past... will not let her past haunt her... she will have to stand fast against it... She shouldn't let him affect her like this.. not after what he has done to her... She trusted him, with her life... Submitted herself to him, without a slight tinge of regret in it...
She kept a safe distance, halting a metre away from him, a blazing demand in her eyes. 'Please move aside from the gate. I'll stay and have a word with you but my son needs to go inside.'
He opened it before stepping back, giving Daksh free passage. 'I'd like you to introduce us,' he said, smiling down at the boy, his son... his blood...one look — he was sure..., pouring out all his charm... the only heir of Khurana Empire, he thought...
Steel shot up Geet's backbone. 'He's my child. That's all you need to know.' She released Daksh's hand and nudged his shoulder forward. 'Go on now. Do as I told you.'
He obeyed, at least to moving past the opened gate. Then he stopped and turned, delivering his own childish challenge to Maan Singh Khurana.
'Don't you hurt my Maa!'
Daksh— Geet called him with an edge to her voice...
He stared straight at her. But at the same time, he seemed to be looking through her, his eyes dazed and far away. He muttered, 'Daksh.
His name is Daksh... the one which he and geet has decided then, for their child, if it's a boy... He couldn't believe it...' So many dreams they weaved together... their sweet home... a dozen kids he wanted...
Maan shook his head, a surprisingly pained look on his face. His mouth went dry. Slightly sick, his stomach in knots. 'I didn't come to hurt her. Just to talk,' he answered gently.
Daksh glared at him a moment longer, then glanced uncertainly at Geet who gestured for him to leave them.
Much to her relief, he did, running up the front path to the door. She watched him unlock it and close it behind him before she looked back at the man who had no right to be here. No moral right. And he had to know it!
'What do you want to say?' she clipped out, hating him for what he'd put her through, was putting her through now with this intrusion on their lives.
'He's my son, too, Geet,' he stated with not the slightest flicker of uncertainty in the darkly burning eyes.
'No, he's not,' she retorted vehemently, needing to sow doubt, to make him leave them alone.
She saw hurt in his eyes. And confusion. And anger, held carefully in check.
"Don't you dare deny it, Geet"
'He is not,' She repeated in a bare hope... 'After all, I was a bed-hopping s**t, remember?'
He flinched at the hit. 'I was wrong about that.'
She raised a derisive eyebrow. 'A bit late to revise your opinion, isn't it?'
'I'm sorry. I should have believed you, Geet. I should have... You weren't the woman in the photos. I know that now.' His voice trailed off weakly...
She could feel the pain emanating from him in sorrowful waves. She wrenched her gaze away from the glittering apology in his eyes. It didn't change anything. Nothing could change the deep, bitter hurts of the past, the grief, the hardships, the loss of all he'd taken from her on that one life-shattering night. They were to be married in a week's time. Maan betrothed Geet, against all oppositions from his family. Promised to protect her... Promised to be with her always... and more never ending promises... but, all the promises, just remained as promises alone.
When, finally, Maan's family agreed for the marriage, they were on seventh heaven. But, what they didn't know, was, Maan's father, Vikrant Singh Khurana, has already made up his mind, that she doesn't fit to be Khurana bahu. She was a simple girl, who uphold her values and virtues more than anything and Maan fell for her, knowing these qualities. Well, in her family, only her mother survived by then, and a half-brother, who only knew to gamble the money...
Maan's parents were a bit rough towards her, initially... His mother, Ahalya Singh Khurana, anyway didn't had much to say. She was too busy, with her social life and kitty parties, even to consider her own sons Maan or Dev, so Geet was far out of question... Maan was brought up by his daadimma, Mrs. Savitri Singh Khurana, and he was very much attached to her... and being elder brother to Dev, he always was protective about Dev.
Daadimma and Dev, had been friendly with her. Daadimma, even though, she doesn't approve, Maan's selection of bride, as she has to be the bari bahu of the Khurana's, did not say much, as she very much loved Maan... Dev was friendly with her... He was a charmer...
The very thought of Dev, made Geet shudder. She regathered all her defences against the insidious attraction that could still tug at her, Geet swung her gaze back, hard and straight. 'How do you know it?' she mocked. 'Your brother was a starring player in those photos. Who better to believe?'
His jaw tightened. The expression in his eyes clouded, taking on a bleak distance.
