so the familiarity is settling in... n so is the companionship between the two...life has strange ways of introducing your partner and companion into your life... these two who have been introduced to each other in difficult times and the pain that binds them has given them a common platform to connect with each other... now that the familiarity is developed and the first caring stirred in Maan, Geet will now get a family away from family ... a person who is both her protector and her friend ... I wanna see a friendship/companionship develop between the two.. a trust built between the two so strong that she can openly talk about her past trauma without fear of being judged and Maan can hear it without bias in his mind.. sure he'd be protective but a friendship between these two to begin this relationship will make Geet sail through this tough times a little easily...
I loved the fact that Maan didnt think twice before taking care of Geet when she was sick... this was the first for Geet, now with small comfortable moments between them they will make the memories that'll lay grounds for a strong relationship...
waiting eagerly for the next update... would love to see a friendship develop between the two before any other kinda relationship develops between the two... it'll do a lot of good to Geet's confidence
all is above is for part 8(a)... as I updated my take on your update, you posted another update... wow!! talk abt wishes being granted!! :-)
I'll edit this post once I read through the part 8(b)
My take on part 8(b):
Maan the boss will always boss around... poor Geet isnt suffering from hunger pangs but having those pregnancy cravings more than the hunger... hence the ice-cream demand.. but who will explain this to the idiot...
n loved the Geet-baby conversation... its heart touching to see a teenager understanding essence of motherhood much before she understood what womanhood entails...
Maan reflecting on the fact that Geet is in for a huge emotional tangle when she gives up her baby is a sign that Maan understands what Geet has taken up unknowingly and what she intends to lose in bargain ...its not just a loss of a person to call her own its also the emotional upheaval its going to cause in having to give up the baby coz no matter what, carrying the baby for 9 months where the mother is the whole n soul for the baby and for the mother her baby directs each of her move...its impossible to not form a connect...I have immense respect for surrogate mothers ( I think I told u about the woman I met who has taken up surrogacy at my work) coz they might be having a test tube baby yet they are the vessel and it doesnt lessen the fact that the baby is a living proof of their great giving nature since a mother's baby is her ultimate unselfish gift that she can give to someone coz even the animals have strong maternal instincts with very less intellect then we are humans...far superior n emotionally alive...
the last bit was goood... Geet devouring the 2 plates of pasta n Maan n Geet sharing a comfortable early breakfast ... Maan eating from her plate is in itself an unspoken and unconscious acceptance to the fact that they have moved ahead from where they stood in their relationship... from Geet being scared of a man's touch, its nice to see that she doesnt flinch or runs away from Maan at first given opportunity ... n Maan caring enough to send the chocolate ice-cream tub is sucha sweet gesture...
It looked like a natural conclusion to the part where a miniscule yet strong step has been taken by both towards sharing something more than a professional relationship...Looking forward to more of these moments in the coming updates...
I liked the subtle change in both's demeanor rather than a pronounced one...
Plzz continue soon
