Chapter 61
"That is absolutely no way to deal with your parents Sanju" Fiza tried hard not to scream but couldn't rein it in.
"Well! To heck with it I don't care….I do not want to end up like my sister trapped with a husband who cares the least for her soul or her personality…..I lost belief in arranged marriage there and then…..right now I have the freedom to be myself…Shaurya lets me be that and besides I have said a thousand times to you guys I love him" Sanju shouted back not wanting to take anymore advices.
"Well what about your parents love for you Di" Nidha shot at her.
The other girls had seen the tears in Mrs. Bedi's eyes and despair in Mr. Bedi. They had literally begged to the girls to bring Sanju back.
They were afraid of the effect this would have on their family reputation. They promised to settle the fire within the family and accept her marriage if she came back to them. This moving out without so much of a warning had created quiet a ruckus in the family. Her grandfather was almost ready to kill her.
"Sanju please….I no I am no one to advice and I hate it when girls are treated like crap…..but believe me there is smooth way around things…..you should've at least spoken to your parents before barging out" Anky said in a calm voice .
"They wouldn't have listened" Sanju said sullenly "If they did Di wouldn't be in this state"
"We agree they made a mistake there Di……but now they are trying to rectify it right…..I mean she has got divorce and all" Aysha said.
"Now when it is too late….now when Di can't even walk out of the house without escort" Sanju said venomously.
"Look guys I do love my parents okay….but I realized that talking won't do much good" Sanju said.
"Did you even try Sanju?" Fiza asked with her hands on her hips. She was really angry from the moment she came to know about Sanju's moving in and her hunger was just worsening her mood.
"Quit advising will you….you aren't all saints here….I mean Aysha has had and is having a very cozy relation with a vampire and you too are dating one…Sur and Nidha are dating wolves…so you guys aren't doing any good by your parents either" Sanju said with finality.
That is the limit Fiza thought.
"You know what Sanju forget it….I am leaving enjoy your teej with your husband" she said storming out of the pent house.
"Fiza wait up….oh c'mon" Anky said frustrated running after her friend.
Fiza had already started her car when Anky reached her.
"Fiza babes chill okay….we will talk her into senses but just chill okay" Anky said
"Anky how can she behave so ruthlessly to people who raised her……I don't like girls being downtrodden either….but she hasn't even tried talking to her parents before taking this huge decision" Fiza said outraged.
"Well honestly speaking Fiz….it's her decision….I mean she is not a baby na….she knows the right and wrong…..just let this slide for a while and I don't need to tell you riding alone in the night is giving printed invitation to trouble" Anky said giving Fiza the you-know-what look.
Fiza sighed
"You are right Anky….its her decision after all….well its just that it isn't easy to forget uncle and aunt's face" Fiza said rubbing her temple. Her stomach grumbled.
"I am starving" Fiza groaned. "I guess I need to take a walk to forget this hunger pangs"
"You guys are just unbelievable….you are keeping fast for an immortal guy….makes no sense" Anky said rolling her eyes.
"It is a whole different feeling when you do something for your beloved Anky….you will know it once you fall in love" Fiza said with a brilliant smile.
"Yeah whatever" Anky said rolling her eyes.
"Am going on a walk….call me when the guys show up" Fiza said moving towards the back lawn.
"Should I come?" Anky offered.
"Chill Anky…its just the back garden and I have got my protection on" Fiza said pointing to her necklace.
"Okay then" Anky said walking back….
Fiza strolled on aimlessly her mind jumping from one issue to another, prime one always being Armaan. He being a vampire was a hard thing to digest at first. But now that that part was over she had different things to rack her brain over.
Like how am I supposed to stay young forever Fiza thought.
She knew that answer but was reluctant to accept it. Changing into a vampire was an exciting yet repulsive idea.
Armaan could control bloodlust, Abhay could but could she.
Or would I just end up ripping my friends throats Fiza pondered leaning onto a tree closing her eyes.
"It will be fun to become a vampire you know….bloodlust is one heavenly feeling" a sweet voice came from above her.
Fiza eyes sprang open to get locked onto a pair of hazel ones. A girl of about her age, who was beautiful beyond words was standing in front of her looking at her like she was a prize catch.
Some how even though she looked fragile,something about her was ominous.
"Do I know you?" Fiza asked her throat becoming dry suddenly.
"Off course you don't love….after all we don't like showing ourselves much" she said in the same musical tone
"Huh?" Fiza asked frowning. She felt an odd sense of de ja vu.
The girl moved closer to Fiza. She grabbed Fiza by both her hands and held her to the tree.
"Just a warning bell to your mate" she whispered in Fiza's ears. Then she sank her fangs into the delicate skin at Fiza's pulse point muffling Fiza at the same instant.
An hour later…..
Armaan had started getting bad vibes ever since he left the jewellery shop. He wanted to see Fiza as soon as possible.
"Hey Armaan" Sanju said opening the door for him "Where are the rest?"
"Hi Sanju….they will make it in a while….had to spilt up for some works…where is Fiza?" Armaan asked looking around.
He saw the slight drop in Sanju's expression but decided to stay quiet.
"She had gone for a walk in the back lawn" Sanju replied with a small smile.
"Is Nikki here?" Armaan asked..
"Yeah she is in….should I call her?" Sanju asked.
"No don't bother….I will just go and meet Fiza" Armaan answered.
He walked out into the back lawn his sharp eyes looking out for anything odd. He found a slumped form near a tree.
He could smell blood as well.
"Fiza" he said reaching her the next instant.
Her neck showed undeniable signs of vampire bite. But Armaan couldn't detect any vampire smell.
"Fiza open your eyes….Fiza" he gave her slight shake after healing her wounds.
Fiza jerked her eyes open screaming and moving back.
"Please leave me please" she screamed frantically.
"Fiza…Fiza this is me Armaan…Fiza" Armaan said steadying her.
"Ar..Ar…Armaan….oh god" she said hugging him.
"Shh…its okay…you are okay" Armaan whispered to soothe her.
"She just came out of no where" Fiza muttered.
"Who?" Armaan asked slowly moving her back.
"I don't know I haven't seen her" Fiza answered unable to control her tears. "The last thing I remember is her saying "just a warning bell to your mate".
Emotions flashed through Armaan's sinfully handsome face.
"She won't get to you again Fiza I promise….I won't leave you unprotected now" Armaan said taking her back into a hug.
Fiza closed her eyes, her breath evening out. She was feeling dizzy now.
"Time to break the fast Fiza….you have lost blood tonight….thank goodness it's not a full moon night" Armaan said
"Else I would have turned right" Fiza asked in a feeble voice, hanging onto Armaan for support as they walked towards the house.
Armaan chose to remain silent because he knew Fiza needed rest. But nothing - absolutely nothing- was going to make him change her
Later that night…..
Nikki stood the her brows creased in worry staring at her reflection in the water.
"I didn't mean to scare you Nikki" Armaan said in apologetic tone.
"No it's okay Armaan….good thing you told me about it…this means the magic in that protection is feeble….the girls are still open to attacks" Nikki said rubbing her temples. Her fists clenched involuntarily in her pockets.
"That leech sure has a lot of courage walking right into our midst" she said through gritted teeth.
"Which again proves that she must be hell lot more powerful than us" Armaan said.
"The protection is working very well against you guys right….this means the power of the spell is still on…..only the leeches power was far higher" Nikki said "The girls need careful watching over now"
Armaan nodded in agreement.
Aldar's Mansion hidden in the forest...
"Clumsy move Niyala" Aldar said in controlled yet seething with anger voice
"No one saw me and no one will detect me father...just wanted to give a message that we are back in town" Niyala said carelessly, throwing back her long black hair "She tasted good and her mate will now be on high alert I suppose...only they have no idea what they are up against...poor fools" she concluded with a vicious laugh
"We can't afford any mistakes until we gain the scepter" Aldar said holding her gaze.
"Do not bother about that...Siddarth is proficient in that matter...he will find a way to get hold of it" Niyala replied.
"Until then you will keep him fooled I guess" Aldar asked with a smirk.
"Off course...I need a plaything after all" Niyala replied with a 100-watt smile
