He was about to stab her when the good side awoke inside him with completely opposite thought from his devilish side.

"Maan! You were never that coward! How could you kill defenseless sleeping princess? How could you stoop so low? How could you compromise on your own rules? You never killed any innocent, defenseless soul then Why today Maan?" His good side questioned his coward action and only thing he was able to answer his good side was "Because I can't kill her with her eyes open, there is something in her eyes which always make me weak! There is something about her that forces me to protect her! This is the only way left for me to finish my task!"

No answer came from his devilish and angelic side they both left decision to Maan. New strange storm of emotions begin inside him. He looked at princess and the storm inside him calm down a bit. He felt at peace a little as he turn away from her innocent face once again storm raged inside the wall of his chest. At the end some how his good side won.

She threw the dagger away with frustration on sofa, he didn't want to disturb the tired princess.

He walked away from princess and settled on sofa while holding dagger. Tomorrow he will take her back to palace and in this way he will fulfill kings promise and later he will king and fulfill Brij's wish he thought before he closed his eyes to sleep.

When he woke up in the morning princess was still roaming in dreamland. He rolled eyes and went to bathroom for shower. After shower he walked out wearing jeans while there was towel around his neck. He saw princess and she was still sleeping but there was scared expression allover her face. First he thought of waking her up but then changed his decision.

"What the hell I am doing here?" thought Geet as she found herself in jungle. She was in room with Maan after he saved her from those lusting pigs. But her thought was put on pause as she heard some animal howling near by. Her heart started beating fast with fear. She looked around and after few seconds she saw several wolves stepped from behind the trees. They moved towards her with hunger leaking from their eyes.

As soon as she saw them she started running and they started chasing her. She was running and her foot got tangled in some root and she lost her balance then she hit the ground. The wolves circled her and they slowly started reducing the distance between hunter and prey.

Geet put hand over her face she didn't want to see the upcoming tearing session.

She was ready to scream and feel the pain but it never came instead she heard human voice and lots of beating sound.

She saw Maan was standing in front of her with stick in his hand he was beating the monsters and keeping them away. His body was like shield in front of her.

He kept on attacking them with stick few of them ran away but one of wolf was determined like Maan. Maan was hell bent to save her and wolf was hell bent to kill her.

With determination wolf jump towards Maan and that was went she couldn't hold her scream and she screamed his name.

She opened her eyes when she screamed his name and sat up in bed with jolt. She was covered with cold sweat and trying to catch her breath.

As soon as he heard her screaming his name in pain he ran towards her bed. She sat up covered with sweat.

He went near her and sat beside her to calm her. As soon as he sat beside her she hugged him tightly.

Maan understood that she must have some horrible nightmare about him that's why she is so scared.

"Geet! I am alright!" he assured her again and again. After few minutes when her breath slowed down and her heart relaxed she let go of him. She didn't look at him and left for bathroom.

After her shower she joined him for breakfast in silence like last night. After breakfast Maan started to put all his scatted possessions in his backpack it was then Geet asked "What is plan for today?"

"Princess I am going to take you back to palace and then I will go my way and you will go your way!" informed Maan.

"I am not going back till they change their decision!" said Geet with determination.

"Look princess we don't have any other option so you will do as I say!" Maan said to princess.

"Listen Mr. Knight! I said I am not going that final, you can't force me!" Geet told Maan folding her hand over her chest.

"Look princess! I have other interesting task on hand other than to baby sit run away princess!" he said with mocking tone.

"I am not stopping you! You can leave but I am not going back until they change their decision!" Geet said in final tone.

"Very well then! You are on your own!" he told her and put the rest of possessions in his back pack and walked towards the door.

"Princess I am asking you last time! Come with me and let me take you back to palace" he said with little hope in his voice.

Geet looked at him and said "My decision is still same!"

"Well then! Goodbye your highness!" said Maan and stepped out of room closing door behind him.
