CHAPTER - 7 Armaan went to meet maan the meeting was in a hotel and was more informal.Maan was already there waiting for armaan.when he saw armaan entering he stood and gave warm hug.
MAAN : ho... mambo long time na?
"mambo" thats how girls address him in college.
ARMAAN : you are busy always.
MAAN : come on who missed my wedding.
Armaan was surprised how could maan easily speak about his wedding.Maan was sure armaan would know everything but he didn't want that to look obvious.
They initially started softly with their old memories.Then maan bravely asked.
MAAN: u can ask me the most awaited question.
Armaan wondered which question then he decided to stick with business.
ARMMAN : ok i ll be frank..why do u have max of our company shares
MAAN : thats not fair i even own shares of few other companies
ARMMAN : but they don't have geet as partner.
MAAN :see u know the reason.
ARMAAN : maan why do u have to do all this ?
MAAN : ok listen ... i consider you good enough to understand...i ...i want geet back in my life...i don't know why she left ...but i want her...
ARMAAN : you don't know why she left !!!!!!
armaan then realized that geet didn't disclose to him anything.
ARMAAN : i mean...be frank what do you want (a little firm voice)
MAAN : i want to live with u all in your house...so that i can be with her ...then take her back with me
ARMAAN : thats ridiculous ...you don't expect me to help u , do u?
Maan gave naughty smile.
ARMAAN : no way she is my friend and i ll do nothing against her.
MAAN : don't you want your friend to get lovely husband?
ARMAAN : i ll get her someone better than u.
Maan was now irritated.
MAAN : ok then Mr. armaan malik if u don't want to help me then let me tell you the house is part of the company and i ve equal or may be more rights...but i just wanted to be nice guy...i can go to any extend to get geet back......
ARMAAN : don't show the businessman side of you.
MAAN : we can play the game if you want to.
Armaan then thought for a while what if maan really loves geet ,it would be great if geet gets her love, but will she accept that or bash them both.
ARMAAN : can't believe i m doing this ...
MAAN : u ll not regret mambo.
Later Armaan told the unedited version to Abhay .But he told others that he has meet maan in a meeting he is staying in dehradun for few months for a project and so he has invited maan to stay with them.
Everyone was happy except abhay. Armaan and abhay didn't notice any expression change in geet. That made them worry more. armaan and abhay met geet in her room to know her feelings.
ARMAAN : i didn't want to hurt u ...i...just...it
GEET : Amy don't even bother i m not upset.And why should i be upset in first place? Me and maan don't share any hard relation. He is my friend as you both . yes i like him in different way and i don't regret that. He never promised me that he ll be with me forever .he didn't betray me and all. I ll never blame him for anything.
Geet almost had tears while talking but controlled.
ARMAAN : i am with you for past 15 years but still i don't understand you.
ABHAY : neither i
GEET : don't make me feel weird ...
When they were about to leave.
GEET : woh... i want a favour.
They both looked at her.
GEET : i don't want maan to know about my pregnancy...
ARMAAN (thinks) :ho... man what is she upto!
They both assured that they ll take care.
At night they were all having dinner.
NUPUR : it will be fun tmr we ll have maan uff... jiju for dinner
PIA : do you think he ll have dinner with us?
Pia winked at geet and they gave hi5 to eachother .
GEET : not funny...
ABHAY : i think we should clean the guest room for maan.
PIA : arre... why? he ll stay with geet na
GEET (without hesitation) : Of course
Abhay and armaan who were about to tke a bite of parata stopped in middle air and stared at geet but she didn't look at them and stayed fine and normal with the idea.
ARMAAN (thinks) : OMG!!! this girl is impossible...Maan is gonna have tough time or may be tough life...
He smiled at his thoughts.
