CHAPTER-12

Maan reached home no one was there except geet. He came to their room. geet was sitting there ready reading a book.She stood as soon as she saw maan .

MAAN : sry sweety i m late but i ll get ready within few mins.

GEET : ummm...

After maan got ready they started driving.

GEET : where are we going?

MAAN : i can't believe that you don't know

Geet looked maan with "not again" expression.

MAAN : ok ...u ll know when we reach

They both reached a mall. Geet went inside a dress shop checking some dress and maan was busy with his phone.

Geet checked few dresses but one top gathered her attention she tried tat one and came to check in mirror. Though she didn't have a bump the top was not comfortable it was tight. Maan who noticed that from far came near and placed his hands on her tummy and chin on shoulder looking at their reflection in mirror.geet looked at him in surprise.He smiled

MAAN : so baby not allowing mama to wear her fav dress.

He said as if talking to baby. They had eyelock which was broken by Armaan's call.

GEET : hello

ARMAAN : hey is maan with you?

GEET : ya

ARMAAN : give him the phone

Geet was not sure why armaan has to talk to maan. she gave the phone to maan. He started talking still hands on her waist. Geet couldn't understand wat they were discussing

MAAN : low battery

ARMAAN :...

MAAN : i m in the mall yaar

ARMAAN :...

MAAN : are u sure?

ARMAAN :...

MAAN : no no we are not doing anything impt...

ARMAAN : ...

MAAN : wat we have to do?

ARMAAN :....

maan talked while laughing.

MAAN : she is gonna kill us dude

ARMAAN : ....

MAAN : ok... cafe in 5 min

When maan cut the call geet looked at him with thousand questions.

MAAN : we ll talk in cafe

They both went to the cafe. Armaan , Nupur and Abhay were already there.

ARMAAN : hai

No one looked as confused as geet. so she knew they all shared a secret . she noticed pia was missing

GEET : Now who is gonna tell me wats happening.

All looked at geet then at abhay

ABHAY : i thought armaan would have said.

Geet looked at abhay.

ABHAY : ok...tmr is pia's birthday so i m planning to officially propose her for marriage.

GEET : really !!!

She sounded excited and gave abhay a hug.

MAAN : ok we have lots to plan for party

Soon everyone started planning . Maan and Armaan were discussing some venue while Nupur and Abhay about food.Geet was left behind. She wondered how easily maan mingled with them and now armaan was discussing with him instead of her. Though they were in the same college they have never been friendly but now everything changed.

Later after discussion everyone planned to leave at diff timings to avoid suspicion.

IN CAR

GEET : now u became too much friendly with my friends

MAAN : our friends

Geet really loved it

GEET : i didn't know u r ok with abhay now

MAAN : i m not yet sweetheart

GEET : come on maan u both are grown up...

MAAN : u think so

GEET : then why r u doing this ? for pia?

MAAN : i m doing this for u Dear

maan was genuine.
