Yeah, just start over, just with your own work! We can all be inspired, heck, even I feel like writing OSs on things I see when I watch Friends or something, trust me, I've seen every episode like 1000 times, and I have very nice ideas in my head for something similar to that, but I can't bring myself to do it, because that work won't have ME in it...Like AWOTB and my OS's, somewhere all my work has a part of me in it, the way I think, the way I talk, but otherwise, it just won't be me! So I stop myself!
