Kria shivered involuntarily she couldn't help it, how was sharon and the rest going to react when they saw her? she hoped they haven't changed much. she was wearing a black Cross Back Cami and a short denim skirt which was hopefully not too dressy but good enough for a party with her friends. she pushed the door with her right hand and hoped for the best. maybe everything was going to be alright. she thought of this morning and Reyansh she smiled remembering the way he was staring at her like there was a smile playing on his lips but wouldn't come. she had never been too happy about the divide in school about dazzlers and weaklings and had never really paid much attention to it but all her friends wanted the divide and would give her a hard time if she would even talk to a nerd but sharon would always forgive her after.
As soon as she had walked in there was whispering and everyone in the pool had also stopped to stare at her. she took a few steps before she saw sharon, vicky, nilesh, simmi, vishaka, and amar, they were all sitting in a group on a large leather couch. sharon stood up and came towards kria.She was wearing a short black halter dress with a silver barrette in her hair. she looked amazing and kria couldnt wait to talk to her. 'what are you doing here?' OH MY GOD what was kria doing here? one year ago Sharon had been completely depressed when kria had left when they had promised to be best friends forever. But that was no longer going to happen this time. No ways was she going to let kria walk all over her again. this time Kria was going to stay on the outside.
'Reyansh invited me come on Sharon it's me kria. gawd i missed you so much' kria moved forward to hug Sharon but sharon moved back and in turn shot daggers at Reyansh. when did they meet? she thought.kria couldnt believe her own best friend had moved away from her i guess she really had changed.
'go away kria you are not wanted here, not now, not ever' she said coldly. 'but sharon at least listen to what i have to say' kria pleaded on the edge of tears.
she looked at Vicky 'you guys at least listen to me' vicky was always the funny one. once he replaced my maths notebook with his and without even looking i did the homework in his book. next day when he swapped the books back, mine had no homework in it. all lunch time I tried to convince myself and the teacher that i had done my homework. we had all laughed about it afterwards but now i felt like crying as he turned his face away.
'please dont give me that emotional drama, and from now on you were never and will never be a dazzler so don't even try getting close to us again' she motioned for the rest of her group and they all moved away from kria and towards the bar.
Rey looked back at kria and saw her innocent face full of despair. his heart urged him to talk to her and stop those tears which were close to falling. at that moment he would do anything for her. what was this feeling coming over him? he didn't even know her! how could he feel this way for a girl he didn't know? he was about to go to her when he heard a voice behind him.'coming Rey?' it was vicky. 'dude you don't want to get in that mess. your new here and your lucky enough to be a dazzler so don't ruin it by mixing with a weakling.' he said motioning towards Kria. Reyansh was new but he didnt even want to get sucked into this dazzler/weakling hatred. deep down he really didnt care.we were all people but this was a tradition at st louis so he tried not to interfere too much. But now He was so stuck in between he didn't know what to do. 'yeh dont worry im coming just need to get something from outside...' he replied while staring at Kria-she was leaving and he didnt want her to go.
He ran and caught up with her in the lobby of the hotel they had booked. 'heyy kria wait please, are you okay?' he wanted to make sure she was okay for some reason. Kria stopped but didnt turn around to face him. she was so ashamed. Sharon who had shared every secret, every experience with her now no longer needed her. that Sharon had embarrassed her And she had done it in front of some one who didn't even know her. Reyansh proberbly thought she was a b****.'yeh im fine just fine. it wasnt your fault, you didnt know about what happened between us so i guess im sorry cuz i never should have came here.' and she walked out into the street. she wasnt a b**** but she wished she had a chance to prove it but she didn't because she was a weakling now and he, he was a dazzler. the street was mostly quiet with a few cars passing by every now and then. it was peacefull and gave her a chance to refresh her mind. So now i have to keep away from the dazzlers in any case. which was ironic since she missed them all so much.
