"Sam tu ab waqehe mar khaye ga!"
it was the next morning but Sam was still sticking to the saem teasing as yesterday. Infact that morning he had even awoke him with, " lagta hai sare raat soya nahe'warna'"
all the glares were falling short on him and Mayank was extremely irritated.

Nupur was sitting in her class when suddenly Sir Shukla called her name, " Nupur beta tum ao! Mere ache bete he ye kam kre ge!"
Nupur had no other option but to go to him, while Gunjan and Priya passed her sympathetic looks.

Mayank was playing basket ball and so he had his back towards the entrance so he had no idea that someone had joined him.

Nupur stood in the basket ball court, wondering what the hell was she struck in. Sir Shukla had asked her to call Maaynk and so she had no choice but to find him to give him the message. However now that she was standing in the court with his back towards her, she had no idea how to call him. She was actually shock with her childness but she was feeling extremely nervous and had no idea how she will convey the message. She silently moved a little forward into the room.

Mayank threw the ball in the air and turned around to catch it. it was then that he saw her' for an instance he was sure he was just imagining her. "I mean how on earth can she be here'" and in that instant he completely forgot about the ball in the air'

Nupur saw Mayank and ignoring her first impulse to lower her eyes, she decided to give away the message plainly, but then her eyes saw the basket ball that was still in the air and falling down, exactly above Mayank's head'her eyes dilated and n the instint she yelled, " Mayank ball!"
and moved forward to move him aside.

Mayank felt her touch him lightly on the shoulder in an effort to move him away'. And he also heard her taking his name for the first time..and he was shocked at how good it felt when she used it' However till then he had realized that the ball was in the air and so quickly caught it with one hand'
However he had seen the worried expression in Nupur's eyes, and he couldn't help but grin at the little gesture of concern Nupur had shown unconsciously.
Above all she was still touching his shoulder and it felt'good'
Nupur: ( pulling herself together) " errmmm' Mayank ' wo'apko Shukla Sir bula ahe hain!"
she said the last part quickly and left without a backward glance, annoyed by her actions'

Sam was sitting in the college corridor trying hard to work on his physics assignment when suddenly he saw Gunjan waving at him. When she came to sat with him, he unconsciously moved a little closer. ,
'hey Gunjan!'
Gunjan: ' kahan gayab ho tum subah se? Tmen itne ache news dene the!'
Sam smiled at her innocence and somehow he realized the glee in her voice had transferred to him.
'Sam: ' I m all ears.'
Gunjan: ' u remember the story writing competition I told u about?
Sam: ( with tongue in cheek) " how can I forget? You pastured me until I had read that 5000 words , not-my-type, story and '"
Gunjan: "i won the story writing competition!"
Sam: congrats sweethea...i mean, congrats Gunjan!'
Gunjan was too excited to notice what endearment he was about to speak.
Gunjan: haina Sam! And u know its all thanks to suhani! Somehow its always her who make me do things i just don't believe I can ever do!'
Sam saw a soft expression enter in her eyes .
Sam: you really love your friends!'
Gunjan: (smiling up at him) ' that i do! u know Sam sometimes i feel so lucky that i have Suhani as my bestfriend'she is always there for me' infact all my besties' jan hain mere' I just cant imagine collge without them' my sweethearts'"
Sam: " aur mein'"
Gunjan looked up at that and Sam bite her tongue. He had no idea where those words had come from even, but somehow he had felt and said it'they both looked at each other , both felt their heart beat quick' both were wondering what had happened'
Gunjan: " eerrmmm'"
"Gunjan please throw your mobile in dustbin!"
both of them were distracted by Diya's sound and so they looked up.
Suhani: " haha! wese Gunjan I agree with Diya! Kab se call ker rahe hain tmen!"
Gunjan: ( plucking her hair behind her ears) errmmm.. kyun kya hua?"
Priya: " mat pooch!"
Gunjan: " ok!" and she grinned inspite of herself.
Nupur: " haha! Priya hmare Gunjan ko batao na ke kis mam ke sath makeup class rakhe hai hmare pyare CR ne?"
Gunjan: " (frowning) how about I guess?"
Suhani: " you wont have to make a wild guess!"
Gunjan: " oh no! yar unhon ne aur kitne makeup clases lene hain? Since we started the college all she did was take make up classes! Upper se wo half an hour late ayen ge aur'"
Nupur: " han han pata hai! Hm kaunsa waqt se ja rahe hain? Its half an hour since the class started!"
Diya: " aur hmne to keh dena hai , Gunjan nahe mil rahe the!"
they all laughed while Gunjan said, " very funny! Ab chalen?"
They all turned to leave when Gunjan turned and and said, " bye sam!"
She smiled and left , leaving a confused Sam behind!

"mein to nahe kar rahe participate!"
Suhani announced, ignoring Gunjan's pleading look.
Gunjan : " had hai! Priya aur Diya tum to ao ge na?"
Diya: " mein to us din chutti kar rahe hoon!"
Priya: " Diya kadam uthao Behan! Hm tmare sath hain!"
they all laughed while Gunjan said , " ye kya baat hue!" and scowled.
Priya: " tum bhe chutti karna na Gunji!"
Gunjan: " arrrggghhh! Mera nam Gunjan hai!"
" han han pata hai! Tmara nam Gunjan, G-U-N-J-A-N hai!"
They all turned to see Mayank had joined them.
Gunjan: " bus tmare he kami the!"
Mayank: "(grinning) "pata nahe logon ko mere itne kami kyun mehsoos hoti hai!"
Gunjan: " I am not in a good mood Maaynk! Aik to mere sari friends ne inkar kar dia hai , annual event , boys versus girls mein participate karne se'"
MayanK: " wow! Your friends are so intelligent. Now that I am participating on Shukla sir's request , you girls have just no chance!"
he grinned while Gunjan glared.
"Gunjan mein aaon ge!"
Mayank was shocked when he recognized her voice.
Nupur had entered the classroom quietly with no intension of becoming a part of conversation but when she heard the challenge in Mayank's voice she just couldn't stop herself'. " Gunjan I will come..as for winning, people are in for a surprise!"
Mayank was now recovering form his shock and so he grinned and said, " we will see that'Nupur'."
Nupur felt a strange feeling at hearing her name from him, but she ignore it' and simply lowered her eyes '.. and soon Mayank left them alone with an excited and happy Gunjan while a confused Nupur'

Nupur stood at the balcony of her room wondering about the day's events..her usually peaceful and sometimes even boring life had taken a sudden twist and she couldn't help but acknowledge the fact that it was all because of Mayank' however before her thoughts could go beyond that she closed her window and went to sleep, for a change looking forward to college'
