i think dev is lying...may be its the other way around...

cant think of maan like that...

ofcourse now geet wud believe maan more than dev and she might b landing up in more trouble...

hi tanya , I"M BACK...so is my shatir dimaag...so the Jugnu Maama in me says...Dev is presenting the truth with a role reversal!
may be its wishful thinking on my part coz i like Maan better than Dev! by the way, why is Dev fantasizing?SR abhi thak nahi hua KYa? has tha Dev turned GHSP Maan, here😉...Apni beewi ke paas hote hua bhi taraste rahte hei!!!!😆

Geet's Apartment
----------------------

She sat in a shell shocked stupor ,forgetting even to breathe...

Dev felt more anguish seeing her like that. He felt miserable inside.

He caressed her head and gathered her into his embrace.

Her petite body shook with a sob against his body and he held her tighter.

"Please don't cry for him darling..he is not worth these precious tears.."

Her mind was in a turmoil...what to believe?? whom to believe??

Dev ,her husband, why would he lie to her?? He said he loved

her...cared for her...that means he'd have her best interests at

heart...then why??? Why her traitor heart refuses to believe

him????..why does it still take Maan's name??? Maan...her best

friend...oh who was she trying to fool??? He's more than a

friend...but she was scared to admit it even in her mind...She had

vowed to remain loyal to her husband...par kya karoon iss dil ka??

She felt like being sucked inexorably into a whirlpool of lies and

deceit...

Afternoon

She stood in the kitchen, wondering what to do next, her mind still in a daze..

Maan, a terrorist??? she couldn't quite wrap her mind around that!!!

She stood reminiscing all the good times they had together...Never

in her eighteen years had she enjoyed her life so much ...

But was everything she shared with him, a farce??? Was he

laughing behind her back at her naivety ??..mocking her for easily

falling prey to his devious designs???

No,that can't be..she had seen genuine care and love in his

eyes...Was he that good an actor??? Or was she the biggest fool

ever lived???

She decided to cook to ease her restless mind...

Finally, calming down, she took the hardest decision,she had ever

made in her young life!

Later

"rrriiinnng...rrriiinnng.."

Geet was making parathas..she went to answer the bell,her belan

still in hand!

"Hi Sweetheart!!!"

The devil himself stood at the doorway with a grin that made her

heart do little flip-flops!!

The tough decisions she had made a while ago, flew right out of

the window as he came forward and locked her in a crushing bear

hug!

Regaining some of her senses,she squirmed out of his embrace..

He noticed a dark look in her eyes,that were now trying hard to avoid looking at him.

Her face was pale and her eyes puffy and red as though she had been crying...

"Geet,what happened?? Are you alright??" His voice was laced with worry...

She noticed how genuine his concern was...his beautiful eyes

were beckoning her to run back into his arms...and she was

tempted to do the same!

She shook her head as though trying to drive such thoughts out of

her mind!

He came forward to hug her again.. sensing her distress...but she

backed away further...

"Geet???" There was a tinge of hurt in his voice..

Gathering all her courage,she spat out..

"Get out of my house!!"

"What???..But why??"

"I don't have to answer any of your questions..Please leave.."

Her lower lip quivered from suppressing the sobs within..

"I will !! ..If that's what you want..but not before knowing the

reason behind this distress of yours..What is bugging you

,Geet?? Tell me..."

"I don't have to!! You just go!!!" She tried to push him out,her

voice rising to a fever pitch.

He held her wrists together and pushed her body against the wall

with his.

"Geet..Stop it!! I'm too strong for you and you know that!"

She continued struggling still refusing to look him in the eye!

"Geet,what's with you??? why are you being so difficult??"

"Maan,leave me!!! I know who you really are and I don't want you

in my house..Got it??"

"Aah...so..you know who I really am...good..very good..care to

enlighten me too??"

"You are a terrorist!!"

"I'm a what???" His mouth hung open a little and he stood dazed,

trying to process the statement she just threw at him.

The next moment he burst out laughing!!!

She gritted her teeth failing to find any amusement at the situation..

He was laughing so hard,that he fell to his knees while clutching his stomach..

"So darling...I'm a terrorist..huh???" he then noticed the belan in

her hand..and that brought out another bout of laughter!!!

"Awww Geet baby..you were planning to tackle me, 'the terrorist',

with this BELAN????"

She involuntarily tried to hide the belan behind her...He chuckled

seeing her confused expressions...Oh lord! she was so

different..so innocent...

Not wanting to annoy her any further,he stopped laughing and got up.

"Well, I see, that idiot husband of yours had been filling your

brains with nonsense!!"

"Don't say a word against him !! Why don't you just leave??"

"Not before you tell me what he said!!"

"I won't!!"

"Good !! Then I'll wait here and confront him directly!! Don't blame

me if I harm him..you know...sometimes in my madness,I don't

listen even to myself!!"

"Kya??"

"Kya?? Kyaa?? Bol bhi do,agar apne pati ki salamati chahiye toh!!

I'm a terrorist,, remember?? I can do anything!!"

"He told me the truth,Okay?? He told me that you were a terrorist

and he ,an officer with the Interpol !!"

"Why that scoundrel !!" He clenched his jaw and fought the urge to

murder her so called husband!

"Hey,Mere pati ko gaali mat dena !! warna..."

"Warna kya?? Huh?? Belan se marogi??" He chuckled which

earned him a disgusted look from her!!

He made himself comfortable on the kitchen counter,munching on

a paratha, and watched Geet, who was pacing up and down

muttering to herself!

"Geet,stop this parade..you are giving me a headache!!"

"Maan, for God's sake..stop irritating me!!"

"I'm irritating you?? Oh Madam,you just called me a terrorist..even

threatened to kill me with a belan..I'm the one who should be

feeling offended here.."

"Maan, please...please tell me that what all I heard was not

true...I need to know.." She was on the verge of tears...her voice

shaking..

The smile died on his face..his expression turned serious and

stern..."What do you think??"

"Maan,I'm confused...woh mera pati hai..why would he lie to me??

par aap...you are my best friend!! I know you...meri aankhen itna

dhoka bhi nahin kha sakti !! You are a good person..I'm sure of

that!!"

Her innocent words softened his expression...he smiled

affectionately at her.

"Maan..please..tell me what Dev told me was a lie..."

"I'm sorry Geet, I can't say that !! I wish... but...I Can't !!"
