Geet's Apartment

"Maan...please tell me what all he said was a lie...please.."

"I can't...I wish...but I can't!!!"

"What do you mean you can't!"

"Geet, I can't reveal anything without authorization.."

"Authorization??? Kiske??"

"Mere superiors ke!"

"Kya??? Toh Dev sahi the..you are not an architect.."

"No,I'm not..since he blew my cover..I can admit that much!!"

"That means you are a terrorist!!"

"Uff Geet, Architect nahi hoon,doesn't mean I'm a terrorist !!! I'm

not!!! okay?? Likh ke doon kya??"

"Nahi,uski koi zaroorat nahi hain.. aap bas sachai bata

dijiye..mujhe vahi vishwas hogi!!"

He felt as though somebody just gave his heart a tight squeeze..

such blind trust on him...but was he worth it?? will he be able to

protect her from the impending Doom??

" Geet,only thing I can reveal right now is that Dev had filled your

ear with half truths..but even that has put your life in danger..by

revealing my identity,I'll be revealing more harmful truths about

Dev,which will put all the three in danger...so please forget about

all this and stay away...I'll book tickets for you to go back to HP..I

think you'll be the safest with your family...In a week ,something

terrible is going to happen here..I don't want you to fall a victim to

that...please listen to me Geet..this is the only way out.."

"I'm not scared..nor am I going to run away like a coward..If you

and Dev are in danger,we'll face it together.."

"Geet, josh mein decisions mat liya karo..what you are saying right

now has nothing to do with courage,it's utter foolishness!! You

wont be helping anybody by staying here, in fact you'll be an

additional burden.. "

"Oh..a burden?? so that's what I am now!!"

"No..No..that's not what I meant!!Geet..stop being difficult..try to

understand the gravity of the situation..you just said you'd believe

whatever I said..changed your mind already,huh??"

"Maan..try telling me the entire truth and see..for once..for God's

sake..show some trust!!"

"I told you it's nothing to do with trust..I just want you to be safe!!"

"Safe,but with whom?? My husband says I should stay away from

you..you say he's filling my ears with half truth and my life is in

danger?? Put yourself in my place and tell me ,what I must do.."

"Geet...I...Geeet..what you think you are doing?? Put that knife

down!!! NOW!!"

She had picked up a knife and held it against her wrist ready to

slash it..The determined look in her eyes scared him!! He had

never seen this side of her..

She had had enough and was desperate..her life was a mess..and

it was getting messier day by day..she wanted answers and was

determined to get it!!

"Tell me the truth Maan or else all your plans about protecting me

from harm will go down the drain right now!!"

"Geet..don't be childish!! This is outright blackmail!!Please put the

knife down..you have no idea what you are getting your self

into..for God's sake listen to me..I can't risk your life at any cost..I'll

put my life in line before yours any day..do you know that???

Tumhe kuch bhi pata nahin Geet.. You can't even imagine my

plight...please Geet don't do this to me.."

His eyes reflected all pain hidden inside him... for a moment her

resolve wavered..

she didn't want to hurt him...she can't hurt him,but..this was her

last and only chance to open the door to the truth..

They stood staring at each other, each wanting the other to give in!!!

Finally,frustrated out of her wits..she pressed the knife against her

wrist!! He let out an exasperated scream as blood dripped from

the cut..

She swooned as blood poured out of her wound.

He caught her before she hit the floor...scooping her up,he carried

her over to the couch.

He examined the cut..It was not very deep.He bandaged it

carefully and made her drink water..

Once he made sure that she was out of danger,,he lashed out at her!!

She just sat there quietly,letting tears fall free down her face..

He lost all his sense of logic, seeing her lost in pain..

He longed to take her in his arms and kiss her pain away ..and he

did just that !!

She gasped as he pulled her into his embrace..

"Maan...???" she opened her mouth...but the words died in her

throat as he dropped a soft kiss on the corner of her mouth..

Her heart was beating faster than a bullet train..she was sure that

it'll jump out of her chest sooner or later..

Her lips ached for his..involuntarily her body arched against his...

He caught her mouth in a tender kiss...a kiss full of love at its

purest form...the feeling so divine that she sobbed against his

lips..

"Hush my darling..please don't cry..I love you like crazy..and I'll

love you forever..no harm will ever come to you as long as I'm

alive..I promise.."

She smiled through her tears and hugged him tightly..

"please Maan..I can't go on like this..I can't live in this darkness

anymore..."

"Geet..." His heart wanted to tell her everything but his brain

stopped him...but in the end his traitor heart won hands down..

"Theek hai Geet, I'll tell you everything right from the

beginning..par..mera ek shart hai!!"

"aapka har shart manzoor hai mujhe!!"

"Theek hai ..toh suno"

"Naa mein terrorist hoon na Dev terrorist hai !!"

Okay girls..I know you guys are frustrated..see.. in his line of work,Maan has to gaurd his secrets..he cannot just blurt out the truth to every one..Geet needed to work hard to extract the truth from him..which she did..so the next part will reveal it all..till then comment away😊
