hey everyone😊😊😊, i know its been really long since i have updated, really very very sorry abt that. my taining, tests and work are pulling me down😭😭😭, i hope u all understand. so i am updating a really nice long chapter...read on😃

chapter 34:

geet's mouth opened in a big 'O'!!! "OMG", what have i done, she thought!!! reality struck her at the wrong moment and tears started welling up in her eyes. she couldn't believe what she saw. how could she have missed this??? is she halucinating??? maan and heer, together??? oh what a idiot i am...how did i even think of coming in between them??? she felt guilty about herself ans ashamed!!! she couldn't take the pain rising in her heart, she turned towards the bar tender and ordered a few shots. he came back with it and geet drank down all of them one after the other and all the bartender could do was stare at her with wide eyes!!! thats when a huge fight started on the dance floor (yes, u r right, if u r right in guessing between whom the fight started). the effect of the shots had still time to take over her, she turned towards the dance floor and was shocked to see pari and heer having a cat fight. now what the hell is happening??? geet rushed towards them and tried to get them off each other. pari wasn't really fighting but heer was in a rage!!! geet tried all her strength to yank them apart but in vain. the music had stopped and people had stopped dancing. geet took in a deep breath and shouted "STOP". maan and prem was just surprised to see pari and heer stop and straighten themselves up. maan looked at geet and smiled. geet was more interested in her friends though!!! she caught hold of her friends's wrist and yanked them both out of the club with maan and prem trailing behind them.

when they were out, geet was a little coz of the alcohol but she managed somehow. she looked at the 2 in unison and nodded in disapproval.

geet: what were u both doing there??? why were u both acting like cats???

both heer and pari were hung there heads down while prem and maan stood behind geet watching.

geet: u both disgust me...seriously!!! what were u both fighting abt huh???

no answer.

geet: answer me.

geet shouted. pari started.

pari: u know the start, it's just that...

she trailed off when geet was dizzy and lost her balance almost hitting the floor before prem caught her. heer shot him glares while pari and maan reached for her. maan patted prem to move back, maan took her in his arms while pari tended to geet. maan declared...

maan: i'll take care of her, i think it's time u three cleared everything out. i'll be back after geet is in the car. wait for me.

maan picked up geet and went to his car, placed her in and returned in 2 mins.

maan: now can anybody tell me what's going on, one by one??? pari u first...

maan had come to know her name in the course of the evnts that happened.

pari: actually, i made prem dance with me so that i could win the bet with geet. it was just for fun though but i dint know it would turn out like this. when i saw heer dancing with you and prem looking at her intently, i knew he was feeling jealous. i thought heer dint know abt it. i realised u were prem's friend when he pointed towards u when he took ur name. i had it all planned out in an order but it all turned out wrong!!! heer was my friend and you were prem's so i thought, things would work out fine but everything went in vain.

maan: right, now u prem.

prem: well pari told u everything. i did feel jealous of u both. i mean i was sitting there all alone. pari came along and said that u were her bf. oh that reminds me, u r a cheater!!! how could u not tell me that u had such sexy gf maan???

heer smacked on prem's head with her clutch.

prem: ouch, that hurt!!!

heer: it will hurt more if u dont stop!!!

maan: wait wait wait!!! i have never met pari before in my whole life!!! she just tricked you into it. am i right pari???

pari: absolutely but i dont mind being ur gf from here onwards...

maan: oh no no no...i'm fine the way i am. thanks for the offer anyway.

prem: pari u r such a liar...

pari: i know, i am sooo good at it!!!

maan: stop both of u, heer it's ur turn now...why the hell did u attack ur own friend????

heer: i feeling J, isn't it obvious!!! it took over me,...pari i am really sorry abt that!!!

maan: seriously both of u...i think u and prem need to talk. i'll take geet home while pari will wait for u jealous striken love birds to sort things out. pari, i hope u dont have a problem. shall we move to the parking lot???

pari: absolutely!!!

and they both left the place leaving heer and prem to tend to themselves. Maan and pari both walked towards maan's car. When they reached maan looked at pari with "you need to tell me so many things" expression. Pari rolled her eyes'..

maan: are you going to start off or shall I start interrogating you???

Pari: alright alright, I'll tell you,

Maan: be my guest

Pari: when I was walking towards prem to lure him into dancing with me, I was thinking how I could win the bet that's when I saw u and heer dancing. I was shocked, obviously! She is our best friend and the fact that she hadn't told us abt her having a bf was something beyond my imagination. And I did observe prem having a hard time staring at u both. That's when the idea clicked in my mind, and the rest is history. However I have no idea how geet got drunk. She's not even into it u see, so spare me the glare.

Maan: so that's how it all started'.

Pari: yeah, but can I ask you something???

Maan: go on

Pari:will you be my bf???

Maan: what??? No'

Pari: why not??? I am single, good looking and nice girl.

Maan: it's complicated, u wont understand

Pari: don't tell me you too love heer

Maan: stop giving ur brain a workout pari.

Pari:hmmm'.btw, how do u know geet???

Maan: don't u know that she works for me???

Pari: what??? U r the MSK??? OMG!!!!!!!!!!

Maan: ah, will you stop exaggerating???

Pari: uh-ok

Maan: I think you should leave now, heer and prem are waiting for you. Don't worry abt geet, I'll take care of her

Pari: ok then, see you.

Pari was few steps away when she turned towards maan and said,

Pari: do think abt what I said, I'm single!!!

She winked at him and left before maan could say anything. He just smiled at her optimism and got into the car. He looked beside him where half dazed geet was sitting. He dint understand why she was silent. Geet was someone who made him smile, talked like a maniac and did things her way, got scared of silly things and more. He smiled remembering so many events abt her but then his face went blank as he noticed tears flowing down her cheeks. He dint know what to do. He leaned towards her and tried to wipe off the tears but to his amazement, geet moved farther away from him and turned towards the window. He felt a pang of pain inside his heart. All these days when she had done things to escape from him, he had made sure she obliged him in some way or the other. Today he dint know what was happening. He neither knew why nor did he try to.

He took a deep breath and started the engine and drove out of the club! Time to time he tried glance at her but in vain. Her hair was blocking his view and she was looking outside. The silence was loud ang when he couldn't bare it any longer, he tried to break the silence.

Maan: geet???

No reply. He rolled his eyes in effort.

Maan: geet kya hua??? Are u alright???

No reply. Anger took over then and he stopped the car in the middle of the forest.

Maan: geet meri taraf dekho.

He ordered. Little did he know the emotional turmoil geet was undergoing. Seeing the person you love the most with someone else is not easy!!! She dint know what to do, more than anything else in a drunken state definitely no. her life revolved around maan all these days whether he knew or not. The pain in her crystal heart was something beyond anyone's imagination. Her soul cried with her in agony but did anyone hear it??? Could anyone soothe her??? Could anyone wipe those tears??? When we fall in love and fail in it, only we know how much it pains, so was the situation at hand for geet. She was in trance, her brain had stopped working and her emotions trying to erupt out like a volcano.

Maan waited a few seconds before he got out from the car and walked to geet's door, opened and pulled her out in force which made her fall right into his chest. She dint know what was going on but when she felt his touch on her hands, she started sobbing, uncontrollably!!! More than geet, maan was shocked at her reaction. He suddenly felt bad for overreacting. He hugged her started to soothe her and spoke,

Maan:geet I am really very very sorry. I just wanted to be there for you and the fact that you were not reacting to me hurt a lot!!!

When she heard what he said, she moved back in force realizing her position unknowingly. She started moving away from him, maan moved towards her. Geet hardly knew what was happening, she was not at all in senses.

Maan: geet kya hua???

She stopped, looked at maan in the eyes and asked,

Geet: kya hua??? You are asking me what happened??? Tell me what's left now??? You destroyed everything. My life, my heart, my soul, every little thing!!! And you are asking what happened??? Good joke.

Maan was confused now. What did he do that hurt her so much???

Maan: geet what did I do???

Geet: what did YOU do??? You are the reason for everything.

Maan: I don't know what you are talking abt geet

Geet: why will you know Mr. MAAN SINGH KHURANA??? All this is just time pass for you.

Maan(angrily): GEET!!!!!!
geet: stop shouting at me maan. You could have told me at the start itself, I would have backed off!!! But no, you didn't. all you did was act along the situations. You are a good actor MSK, no wonder I dint realize all was fake.

Maan(confused): I have no idea what u r talking about.

Geet: should I enlighten you???

Geet was swaying across losing her balance and trying to stand in one place. She was abt to hit the ground when maan shouted

Maan: GEET!!!!!

She steadied herself,

Geet: stay away from me you cheat!!! Stay away from me'.

Maan: I am not a cheat geet. I don't know what you are talking abt'

Geet slumped down feeling defeated and looked at him tired'.

Geet: you don't know??? Then let me tell you'..

Maan: lets get u home first'.

Geet: no need, you need to know what u have done,'.
