geet should leave dev and move on...how can he said i love you when he is going to be father from another girlso cheep but i am happy ...geet is in pain and she is deeply hurt..i wish she take maan's help and moved out bring herself to new avatar.

just read the last 2 parts ... Am in awe muski ...

how do u do that.. am amazed yet again .. how do u manage such different mind sets at the same time... your every maneet are far apart from each other ... i cant decide which one i love more ...

I loved Maan's dialogues in Ehtisaab... they're beautiful ... straight and unbiased ... he genuinely wants her to be free of pain ... his understanding of love and longing was amazing ... so distinct ... so precise ...

Dev however is confused ... he genuinely loves her but refuse to acknowledge her pain... he has to accept his mistake ... i cant believe he tried to reason out his betrayal under the pretext of "casual relationship" ... he loves her no doubt but he has alwayz selfishly taken her for granted ... and still he is not realizing this ...

cant wait for Geet's decision ... i hope she is able to stand for herself

Hi Muskaan,

This is my first post for this storyline. The story is different and I like the way it is moving.I am really confused about certain things though:

How can parents be like this towards their own child?
What is Dev's concept of love and relationship? He says he loves Geet and has this "casual relationship"???...he says he never meant to cheat her ? whats then the definition of cheating to him?
I am terribly confused with the words love,longing and obsession now. I cant understand who is the victim of what...Geet is obsessed about her love and longing for Dev, Dev is in love with the habbit called "Geet", Maan is obsessed with explaining all these 3 words to Geet...!!!

And I am confused..😆 Muskaan, please do explain in more lucid language the link between love, longing and obsession 😃

A very different treament Muskaan. I read all parts in one go.. 👏

As a writer, its difficult to depict pain. Its easy to write humour and to some extent romance also. But very difficult to write about pain. This pain as a reader i am able to relate to it. The way Geet is reacting the way she is feeling lonely. they way she is feeling left out. Its not fictious per say. It sounds very very realistic. I have noticed that many a times the pain depiction becomes very monotoenous and the linking loop goes missing. But kudos to you! You know where to draw the line!

Now let us come to the story! Hmmm So Dev cheated on Geet. It was a casual relationship. In today's way of life, these kind of casual relationships have become more common. So here again i wont consider this as being purely fictional.

Making a woman pregnent and saying that is a casual rrelationship and claiming that he still loves his wife.. I have not seen a more confused man! He was reluctant to start a family with Geet which means they wre on protection then how could he not do the same with his so called casual relationship?😡 It irks me Muski! why is Geet still living with that godamn Man? She needs to leave him to Rot in hell. She should not even think of considering a relationship with him after what he has done to her. So if you tell me that she is emotionally not strong to take that decision of walking out, then i feel she is a spineless person. She needs to grow up and start to live a life for herself and send DIVORCE papers to that rascal.

Coming to the parent's reaction. Perfect! Thats how they will react when a love marriage goes hayway. I have seen that in real life. Seen my cousin suffer. So You are perfect in that.

With everyone around her giving a damn about her, Geet should seriously walkout of everyone. Be it her parents or her so called husband. May be i am talking like a feminist here. But yeah thats what i feel. Give a damn about the world which gives a damn about you! End of day you are answerable to yourself NOONE ELSE!😊

Now Maneet's connection... Its still to develop. Its in been sowed. Still to get roots... grow...bud... flourish... But loving the very approach of yours to their relationship.

I just love this FF. Again you are striking the perfect balance in pain depiction which makes reading a pleasure with tears of pain brimming...😭
