Jai knocks on the hotel room door.A tall man dressed in jeans and black shirt opens the door.
"Dadajan aap yahan?" he asked.Dadajan sat down.
"Armaan, main tumse baat karna chatha hoon." Jai said.
"Yeah.Kahiye," Armaan said so Jai could continue.
"I think behtar ho ga ke tum apne parents ko bulao," Jai said.Armaan grabbed his phone and called his dad.His mom and his dad went to go walk around the hotel and just look around.After a while, his parents came walking in the room.
"Bauji?" Billy said a little confused to see his dad in their hotel room.
"Billy aur Naina betho," Jai said.Billy and Naina obeyed and sat down next to Armaan."Maine kal mehndi pe Armaan ke liye ek ladki dekhi hai.Aur main chatha ke Armaan usse se shaadi kare." All three of them look at each other while Jai stared at the three of them.Naina looks at Billy and Billy looks away from the eyes of his wife."Armaan, beta please.Woh bohut hi achi ladki hai aur woh tumhe khush rakhe gi."
"Agar humne na keh diya toh?" Billy said.Jai stares at Billy in shock.
"Armaan ki umar ho gaye hai shaadi ki agar isne aur daer ki toh usse koi ladki nai milne wali," Jai said in a high voice but calms himself down."Dekho, Riddhima bohut hi pyari ladki hai.Haan sharmeeli hai lekin achi ladki hai." Jai sighs when he heard no response."Aaj lunch pe main Shashank se Riddhima ka haath maang ne wala hoon, Armaan ke liye." With that being said, Jai walks out of the room.
"Acha kiya aap ne!" Naina said sarcastically to her husband.
"Naina, chup kar jao." Billy said.
"Mujhe woh Riddhima apni bahu nai chaiye," Naina said and crosses her arms across her chest."Main apni behn ki beti apni bahu banana chathi hoon."
"Lekin ab aisa nai ho sakta," Billy said a little irritated because of Naina's behavior."Tayar ho jao.Hume nikal na hai." Naina shook her head at her husband and walks in the bathroom while Billy went to go make himself a cup of coffee that was in the room.
Armaan who was quiet all this time walks out onto the balcony.He shakes his head to get his mind straight. Armaan couldn't believe that his grandfather has fixed his marriage.Armaan doesn't even know the girl.He knew who she was because the sisters of the groom had told who was who on their side of the family but they never talked to each other and knowing his grandfather they'll probably get married in the next two months.
Everyone just had lunch and now are sitting in the living room just talking with each other.The elders sat on chairs or the couches as the young adults and kids sat on the floor.Jai looks around at everyone and smiles.He's happy that is granddaughter is getting married into a nice and beautiful family.Shashank was sitting next to Jai and he saw the smile on Jai's face. Shashank looks at Padma and sees her gesturing that if Jai wants som tea.
"Uncle, aap ko chai chaiye?" Shashank asked Jai.Jai looks at Shashank.
"Ji bete," Jai said.Shashank nods to Padma confirming a yes.Padma nods and goes to make tea.The kitchen and living room were attached so you can see people from each of the rooms.
"Mai aap sab se kuch kehna chatha hoon," Jai said aloud for everyone to hear.Everyone turns their attention towards Jai."Hum sab yahan ab family hai toh main nai chatha ke koi baat bhi hum ek dusre se chupaye.Aaj bada hi khushi ka din hai.Aaj meri poti ek ache parivaar ki bahu ban rahe hai.Main sirf apne potiyon aur poteyon ke aur apne bacho ki khushiyaan maangta hoon aur aaj main ek aur khushi maang ne jaa raha hoon." Jai looks at Shashank."Shashank main aap ki beti, Riddhima ka haath apne pote, Armaan ke liye maang na chatha hoon." Everyone was shocked by the words that had just left Jai's mouth.
Riddhima looks up in shock as her head was bent down before.Padma stopped in her tracks as she heard what Dadajan said.Jai got up and walked over to Riddhima.He held his hand out to Riddhima.Riddhima took his hand and stood up.Jai looks at Armaan who was standing with his cousins in the corner and stretches arm out that wasn't around Riddhima. Armaan walks to Jai and Jai wraps his arm around his shoulder.
"Toh Shashank bete aap kya kehte hain?" Jai asked as he stood with Armaan and Riddhima on either side of him.Shashank looks at Armaan then Riddhima.He felt a hand on his arm and looked down to see Padma.She nods her head at him.Shashank looks at Anjali and Atul who also nod that they agree.
"Haan," Shashank said.Everyone cheers as Riddhima blushes and Armaan was furious. "Lekin kya aap iss baat se khush hain?" Shashank asked Billy.Billy looks at his dad and saw his glare.
"Ji main khush hoon," Billy said.Shashank smiles and pulls Billy in for a hug.Billy hugs back after hesitating.Naina looked at Shashank and Billy with anger in her eyes.
Jai smiles and puts Riddhima's hand in Armaan's and moves out of the way.When Riddhima's hand touched Armaan's she felt a different feeling inside of her.Riddhima looks up at him and sees him staring straight ahead.Armaan turns his head to look at Riddhima and finds her looking at him.Riddhima quickly looked away but she was a little late because he had caught her staring at him.Muskaan and Anjali came over to them and congratulate them.
"Riddhima, ab toh teri bhi shaadi hone wali hai aur main ek kuwari ladki abhi bhi ladka dhund rahe hoon." Anjali and Riddhima laugh at the dramatic Muskaan."Jeeja Ji aap kahan khoye hui ve hain?" Armaan looks at Muskaan and plasters a smile.
"Kahin bhi nai," Armaan replies and looks away.
"Aap Riddhima ki yaadon main hai na?" Muskaan asked with a teasing smile.Riddhima's cheeks turned more red than before.
"Nai," Armaan replies a little confused.
"Toh phir aap ne abhi bhi Riddhima ka haath kyun pakrava hai?" Muskaan said looking down at their hands.Armaan realized that he was still holding on to Riddhima's hand so he quickly let go.Riddhima felt empty when Armaan's hand let hers go.She wished to kill Muskaan for asking that question.
"Riddhima," Padma said happily and fed her mithaai.Riddhima smiles and hugs her mom. "Yeh lo Armaan." Padma held the mithaai up to Armaan's mouth.Armaan looks at Padma and sees a bright smile on her face.Armaan opens his mouth and takes a bite.
"Ab toh ek aur shaadi ke liye bhi tayaariyaan karni hai," Atul said.
"Haan aur nayi kapre bhi chaiye hai," Anjali said looking at Atul.Atul knew what that meant. He has to pay for Anjali's clothes and since Anjali is the bride's sister they are going to be more expensive.
"Aaye haye kahan phaas gaya main," Atul said making everyone laugh.
