Chapter 2 ( The Big Fat Wedding)

Piya
Piya could not believe that her dreams were turning into reality. In few hours, she was going to be Mrs. Raichand ( Abhay's wife). She had finally found her soul mate and his life partner. She had felt truly blessed to have a fianc like Abhay. Piya was ecstatic, and felt like a little kid getting a chocolate. Today was her day, her special moment she had been craving since she had met Abhay a year ago. In a year everything had fluctuated so fast. Piya could not wait to begin this new chapter of her life, as a wife. On thing she weighted heavy in her heart was that she wished more than anything her mother would be here on this auspicious day. She knew she was resting up in the stars, and guiding her. She wore the necklace her mother had handed her when she was a child, and people told her she was the spitting image of her mother. Growing up in orphanages, and witnessing the wonderful Christian wedding. Her dream always had been to have a simple, and traditional wedding . Finally, the dream had come true. Abhay had hired the top designers for wedding from across the country. His said he did not want his bride to have any less. Piya's wedding would be filled with splendors the whole Capri Island had not seen in ages. They had traveled to Italy's Capril Island for the beach wedding. It was first time traveling abroad, and she had been excited. She could not believe she was getting married in such a magical Island . Piya had not wanted to Abhay's to spent a fortune, but on every body's insistence she had agreed. Arnav, Madhu, Misha, Panchi, Misha, and Kabir all came to greet her. Arnav and Madhu hugged her, and had tears in their eyes.
Madhu- We are so happy for you beta! You deserve it ! Abhay is such a lovely boy
Misha, and Kabir also gave her a hug, and Panchi could not be happier they were going to be married on the same family. Ruhi, and Angad just offered their cute advice for the wedding night, and blessed her .
Panchi, Misha, and Ruhi were her bridesmaids. They were all going to get ready together, and that was their plan. Arnav and Madhu left, and went outside to check if everything was set perfectly. The beauticians got to their work, and to prepare the ladies for the day. When the beauticians were done , Panchi , Misha, and Ruhi went their separate ways to give Piya( the center of today's day) some space to change in to her wedding gown. Piya's gown had been specially ordered by Rumi Abhay's little sister). The gown was designed by Versace especially for her. Rumi, his little sister had tortured the designer to make the gown perfect, and dazzling. She had watched him ,and his assistant like a hawk until they had not completed the whole gown. She has scared the designer so much , and that he had gave in . He worked day and night to complete the gown in the short amount of time. She had also personally threatened fed ex that if the gown was not delivered properly, she would sue the whole company. Being a fashionista, Rumi wanted her future bhabi to look the best. Piya could not help but laugh when Abhay had told her about this. She was such a sweet heart. Though she was doing an internship in Paris, She wished she would be here as her guest of honor. Abhay always sung praises about her, and Piya was eager to meet her sister in law. She has consequently talked on the phone, and seen her pictures. They had never met face to face. Piya changed in her wedding gown. She admired her self in the mirror. Was this same girl? She thought. Piya soon heard the beep on the phone. It was a text from Abhay
Abhay's text- Piya! R u ready? In few moments we will be man and wife. I can't wait to make you mine officially! Piya! I love you, and will be waiting for at the altar.
Piya texted him back and assured him she is ready more than ever, and blew a kiss.
Misha , Panchi and Ruhi came and gave her a big hug. They all together at once were shouting would complement Piya's first. Misha being her best fren was the maid of honor.
Misha- I am the maid of the honor. So , I am speaking first. Piya, You look wow! You always do , but you look extra special today. Panchi, and Ruhi nodded in agreement. Arnav , and Madhu came.
Arnav- My girl is grown up! She is going to be married today Madh
Madhu - Beta tume kisi ki nazar nahi lage! She said hugging her. Misha, Panchi, Ruhi went out first. And , Arnav lending his hand escorted his youngest daughter to the altar
Before Abhay goes out to the ceremony.
Abhay was pacing back and forth
Sid: Little brother what on earth are you doing? The ceremony is about to start soon.
Abhay: I am worried about Piya. What if the superiors tried to harm her? Are they planning a new trick?
Sid: Don't' worry ! The superiors are here to attend you wedding, not make meatball out of Piya. They know what value Piya can have the clan , when she is turned. Abhay , Piya will become one of the most powerful vampire in our clan when is turned. Beside you have mum , dad, me ,and Panchi. We will handle it.. Piya's safety is my responsibility. You just go relax, and put smile on that frown face. It's ur day.
Abhay sure hoped everything would perfectly as planned, and no interruptions would occur on this day. Sid was his best man. Sid is right, Abhay thought. I am just stressing myself for nothing. And today's is not the day to let to depress himself. It was his day when Piya would be become his wife officially.

Every girl in the world become of having a fairy tale wedding, and settling down with her prince charming. Well today, the dream of our beloved Piya was coming true. Arnav escorted Piya down the aisle where Abhay was waiting for her. Abhay was smiling and staring at her. His eyes were set only for her. She looks so mesmerizing, and the world's most beautiful woman. He could not help but stare in those beautiful eyes. Each step Piya took, his smile became wider, and wider. She was smirking, and giving him innocent smile. When Piya reached the end of the altar, Arnav left her. She thanked him. Panchi, Misha, and Ruhi were already beside her.
The Minister- Dear Beloved! We are here to today to join Miss. Piya Jaiswal, and Abhay Raichand to tie them to this wholly union. If people have any objection to this match, better speak now or hold your peace. Since, we have no objection from any party let's continue.
Wait! I object! A girl came forward. Abhay could not believe it was Rumi

Dear family and friends, on behalf of (Piya and Abhay) I welcome all of you for this marriage celebration. We are here today to encourage, celebrate and support the covenant these two people (Piya and Abhay), beloved to us, now make and to share in the joy that (Abhay and Piya) are feeling as they pledge their love and commitment to each other. We rejoice and celebrate in the ways life has led them to each other and got them to the place where they now stand.
Intentions

Minister: In the Bible, Paul wrote beautifully about the power of love in his 1st book of letters to the Corinthians, Chapter 13.

Marriage Vows

Abhay: I Do.
Minister: (Piya) Do you take (Abhay) to be your lawful wedded husband, to have and behold from this day on, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live.
Piya : I Do.
Exchange of Rings
Minister: The wedding ring symbolizes unity, a circle unbroken, without beginning or end. And today (Abhay and Piya) exchange these rings as confirmation of their vows to join their lives, to work at all times to create a life that is complete and unbroken, and to love each other without end. May the Lord bless these rings which you give to each other as the symbol of your love and fidelity.
(Abhay), take this ring and place it on finger, and state your pledge to her, repeating after me:
"With this ring I thee wed.
I offer you my hand, and my heart as I know they will be safe with you.
All that I am I give to you and all that I have I share with you."
(Piya ), take this ring and place it on finger, and state your pledge to him, repeating after me:
"With this ring I thee wed.

Closing
Minister: (Abhay and Piya ) you have given and pledged your promises to each other, and have declared your everlasting love by exchanging the rings. Your vows may have been spoken in minutes, but your promises to each other will last until your last breath. As have pledged themselves to meet sorrow and happiness as one family before God and this community of friends, I now pronounce them husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.
Minister: Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. (Mr and Mrs. Raichand).
Wedding Reception
Piya and Abhay set down by their table with their friend, and families. They could not be happier to enjoy this auspicious day with their family and frens. When the time came to cut the cake, Abhay gave Piya a small bite of cake, and swallowed a small piece that Piya fed him quickly. To him it tested like dirt. The speaker (the D.J. invited)
D.J. Maybe we please have the honor of starting , the first dance of the night with the bride and groom. Abhay and Piya headed to the dance floor. They danced to the song I'' be by Edwin Mccain , their both favorite song which stirred a lot of good memories for them. When Piya, and Abhay finished their dance. Arnav came and danced with her. The father and daughter of the dance after the ritual was completed. All the couples joined each other on the dance floor, and embraced each other.
Abhay- So Mrs. Raichand! Where would like to go for your honeymoon?
Piya: I don't know. I will let you know .I just want to spent time with right now saying she rested her head on his chest.
