Geet followed Maan back silently back into his Cabin. Maan was smirking as he will now give Geet a payback for messing with him. The rest of the office saw Maan and Geet. They were shocked and were staring at them. One being in particular Sasha who was angry that Maan went after a girl and it was not her.

'I Do not pay you to stare' Maan told the staff who ran back to there seats.

'Miss Handa in my office now, as you are directly working under me' He turned to Geet and said.

Geet shuffled her feet and slowly walked into Maan's office. Boy was she scared. She flashbacked to all the times she had messed with Maan and knew that she is in deep trouble.

'SO Miss Handa, you're here as a trainee huh' asked Maan going through a file as Geet nervously looked at the ground and fidgeted with her scarf.

'Yes Sir' She managed to meek out. He looked at her and saw her and realised something. She was beautiful when she was quiet. He was so busy arguing with her or thinking about her that he never realised that this girl was damn beautiful. She was cute too the way she looked like she was a child getting told off by a teacher.

'So Geet Handa called me a loser?' He asked. Geet looked at him.

'No sir I didn't call you a loser. Its just that…' Geet started. SO what if he was the boss. IT doesn't mean she can't say what she likes. FREE DEMOCRACY and RIGHT TO SPEAK. She sure has it and can sure use it. Its her basic human rights.

'Its just there isn't really another word for loser except for the phrase the one who is failure. Now that will hurt you more than saying a loser isn't that right sir?' Geet grinned at him. Maan was shocked at the audacity of this girl. She is here in the Lions Den, caught under his rein and here she is still calling him a loser.

'What did you call me?' He growled. Geet jumped as Maan walked towards her in a threatening walk.

'Nothing Sir. Honestly I didn't call you anything which was wrong anyways' She smiled nervously. 'And Anyhow Sir I have a freedom of speech haven't I.. SO I can say what I feel or like?' She asked uncertainly walking back towards the wall as Maan walked towards her.

'What did you think that you can call me a loser and get away with it? Huh Geet.' He asked trapping her. Geet tried to get out but Maan had put his hands around her. He was so close to her that Geet could feel his breath on her face. She looked up and and got hooked into his eyes. And for once she felt a different emotion. Unbeknown to them, there was a connection an unknown feeling, attraction between them. All they had to do was to figure it out. They were staring at eachother when Maan's phone rang breaking the concentration.

What was happening to me? Why am I staring at him? Why could I not look away'

Geet turned to leave but Maan stopped her as he just got off the phone.

'Geet take these files and prepare a presentation before 9am tomorrow' He gave her a list of files.

'Sir..there are so many files to read and go through. How can I prepare a presentation? And on top of that I'm just a trainee' She asked looking at the heap of files in her hands.

Maan smirked at her. 'Geet Handa.. your working for me. And you called me a loser?. Now lets see who truly is the loser'

'Sir it will be done' She determinedly answered back. No way was she going to loose and to this jerk of a boss.

'Dusht Danav Loser akroo saru' Geet muttered as she walked into her cabin. How am I meant to read all these files and prepare a presentation before tomorrow. Dusht Danav. Geet slumped them on the table and started reading one file and slumped down even more reading the wording. What the hell is this She wondered to herself.

'What is this? Doesn't anyone know how to write proper English. This sounds so archaic and old. It's a new age. Who used these words today anyway.' Geet asked then she looked at the paper and it said Maan Singh Khurana at the bottom.

'Ha Ancient log to Ancient tareke se likhtey hai. That makes sense.' Geet laughed. She started working through all the files and was half way through when Adi and Pinky walked in.

'Hi Geet' Adi walked in.

'Bhaiyaaa' Geet hugged him.

'Geet whats this first day and your doing so much work well done' He patted her head.

'Bhai.. you know I never do this much work. This dusht danav has given me this Mehra wala Presentation to finish by tomorrow and there is so much to do' Geet whined like a child pointing at the heap of files sitting there.

'Mehra presentation but that is not till…' Adi began to say wondering why Maan had asked her to do the presentation early and to a trainee and it was not till next week.

'ahem' Adi was cut short by Maan at the door. He looked at him telling him to leave. Adi understood and left.

'So Miss Handa are we losing already?' He smirked and asked raising his eyebrow.

'No Sir. See Even though you're an old Man and you take your time. I'm todays girl. See I've done more than half the file and half the presentation. Sir Just watch before I leave tonight at 7 all the presentation will be done' Geet smiled in confidence.

Maan was worried and frantic because he did not want to lose today and pretended he got a call. Her confidence dettered him and he never loses.

'Hello.. what today what time but that's in 3 hours. Okay it will be done Mr Mehra' Maan smirked and looked at Geet who looked at him attentively.

'What'She asked.

'Geet.. This presentation needs to be completed in 3 hours. Mr Mehra will be here.'

'WHAT' Geet yelled. Maan smirked and looked at her.

'Yes Geet Handa 5pm' He smiled and went back into his cabin and looked at her through the cabin.

The phone rang.

'Hello' Geet answered.

'MINE MINE JUST MINE. I'm Coming soon Geet' The voice said and put the phone down. Geet was frantic at the call. IT was weird. And it made Geet scared. She then turned to her left and saw Maan who was looking at her and his hand was just putting the phone down.

'oh toh yeh Maan Sir ki shararat hai to scare me' Geet thought to herself. Unbeknown to her it was someone else a person with the bigger agenda.

Later that afternoon Maan rang Geet

'Come into my cabin now Geet' Maan said.

'Sir not now I have to finish the mehra project and now your talking properly to me instead of being weird' Geet said. Geet said as Maan watched her trying to write notes as she was balancing the phone on her ears.

'what do you mean properly and by the way Now means now' Maan declared.

'Dusht Danav' Geet mumbled.

Geet walked in and saw Maan on the phone gesturing her to come in.

'Yes Sir' Geet asked tapping on one foot. He told her to wait. Maan took half an hour on the phone wasting Geet's time.

'SIR' Geet yelled. Maan looked at her and got off the phone.

'Geet its 5pm' Maan said looking at the time. Geet turned to the clock and her face dropped making Maan smirked.

'Sir.. I mean..the project' Geet mumbled.

Maan walked up to her as Geet walked back and she hit the chair and almost fell when Maan grabbed her and brought her up. what shocked Geet was concern in Maan's eyes for her. They looked into eachothers eyes. Mahiii moment.

'Sir I'm fine' Geet said softly. Maan let her go.

'Geet the project is….' Maan started.

'Finished almost sir just one more page left.. please give me 5 more minutes' Geet asked urgently.

'Nope no can do. When I give a deadline its meant to be done. Now you have failed so now for your punishment' Maan smirked. Geet looked around and realised that the office was empty.

'Sir..where is everyone' Geet asked warily.

'Gone home..' He smirked. 'So I can give you a punishment'

'Sir I know karate' She said.

'So' He asked.

'So I'm just warning you' Geet said looking around trying to act strong even though she was scared.

'you think I want to rape you' He asked. Geet looked at him and Maan caught her eyes in another eyelock.

'I didn't say that… and by the way you can't even ' Geet stumbled.

'Geet Handa, let me tell you there are better girls who would throw themselves at me at one glance.. I don't need to do anything' He said.

'obviously sir.. its because.. they are blind..' Geet laughed.

'GEET' Maan said.

'Sorry Sir,' She smiled. He just looked at her smile and got lost in it. Geet snapped her fingers.

'SIRRR can I go now?'

'huh, no finish the file now quickly' Maan said. Geet went back into the cabin and finished the last page and brought it to him.

'Sirrr file' Geet gave him the presentation file. Maan was impressed but he didn't want her to win. But he was impressed by her just being a trainee

'hmm its good. But look here a few mistakes' Maan said genuinely looking at mistakes. Geet walked beside him and leaned down next to him looking at the files as Maan showed her the mistakes. Maan looked up feeling Geet close to him and saw her looking at the file presentation attentively as he was explaning. Her proximity was doing something to his senses as he store at her.

'Sir you were saying?' She asked. Maan broke out of his trance and looked at the file quickly. He looked at Geet and gave her the file and told her to do the amendments.

Maan Singh Khurana control yourself.

Geet finished the work and looked at the time it was almost 10.

'Hai Rabba, its 10. This Dusht Danav na…' Geet grumbled. She went into Maan's office and gave him the file. Maan who was faced towards the other way so he does not get affected by Geet again just replied 'hmm you may leave'

'ZAALIM SINGH KHURANA' Geet grumbled as she stood waiting for a taxi. There were none coming. Geet cribbed to herself

'ek to pehla din. Aur woh bi with this jerk. Aur itna saara kaam babaji kya kar rahey ho meri zindagi ke saath'.

Meanwhile Maan was in his office when he noticed the time.

'its 10pm. How will Geet get home at this time? There are no taxi's even' He said to himself. He grabbed his blazer and walked out of his office .

Maan ran outside and got into his car and looked for Geet. He saw her near the taxi stand waiting for taxi. Thank God she was safe.

Geet was waiting for a taxi and saw a car stop infront of her and noticed Maan walking towards her.

'Geet come I'll drop you home' Maan said as Geet returned his phone.

'But Sir I can manage na..' Geet said not wanting to take his help.

'Geeet there is no taxi this late and its not safe'

'but sir I can take care of myself I know karetey remember ' Geet laughed. Maan laughed.

'No arguments come its late'

'okay' Geet said. She started to walk behind him when the felt dizzy and when Maan realised that he couldn't hear Geet's footsteps he turned and saw her on the floor unconscious.
